This place has everything! We were staying nearby for a week and got recommended this place for coffee, ended up coming almost every day. I had the best lavender latte I've ever had and great drip coffee as well (which is never a given). The Ruben was amazing and it came with McDonald's Fries but better! Next time I'm in Seattle I would be back! Also got last minute wine and gifts for our hosts here. They have what you need!

Great outside seating elevated on the corner of an intersection. Sandwiches were a bit on the smaller side. But still good. French fries were perfect (crispy, salty, and soft in the middle

    Delicious!

Nice market with a wide selection of beverages, beers on draft, snacks, prepared food, and fresh sandwiches made to order. I was impressed by the variety of non-alcoholic beverages like Recess Peach, refreshing! The Eggplant Sandwich was a bit tough from the toasted poppy baguette and messy to eat as the toppings fell out. The flavors of the crispy eggplant, onions, roasted red peppers, and spinach with mozzarella cheese didn't quite pair well. The fries were lukewarm. There's outdoor seating behind the market. Entrance to the front of the market is a bit tucked to the side, there's a separate door for exit (I made the mistake of entering/exit through the same door!) The other sandwiches looked good, and I'm sure the deli deilvers. A great pit stop to grab some grub before taking the ferry to Vashon Island!

Crispy thin long fries with French dip

Longest crispy fries in Seattle...at least in my experience. I pulled this beast out of the pile of fries and it kept coming and coming, at least 8 inches long! Had some "soggy fries" at a nearby burger place in White Center, so these were more to my liking. The French dip wasn't bad but I think Wildwood makes the best grilled cheese around.

I would not mind living near this market!! This place has everything from breakfast pastries to a variety of wines and sparkling spiked waters. Visit in the morning for your cup of energy and come back for lunch to sit on the nice patio absorbing all the vitamin d. Also for your convenience, they have 2 very clean gender neutral restrooms. It was one of those special adult weekdays, where my boyfriend and I would drive around to places we had bookmarked. This place did not disappoint! Around the store they have coolers filled with drinks and adult beverages. Fresh cookies for sale and everyday cabinet essentials. It was hard to choose between the Reuben or the steak sandwich. We ended up getting the flat iron steak sandwich and a hot cocoa to go. Steak sandwich is a must when visiting! The sandwich was super juicy and the bread was secretly the star of the show. Bread was nicely toasted and held the sandwich up. Caramelized onions added a nice sweetness and the steak was tender. Only complaint is that the fries were lukewarm and was missing the warm crunch. Still highly rated for fries. He ate it so fast I couldn't snap a picture. The hot chocolate was perfect on a sunny day lol https://www.toasttab.com/wildwood-market-9214-45th-ave-sw-seattle/v3/?mode=fulfillment You can order online to skip the line. (I suggest this if going during a lunch rush)

Ask the Community - Wildwood Market

Am I able to come in, order some food and work a little? Like bring a laptop and hangout?

Yep! There's a few tables and also seating against the wall that you could post up at. I can't recall if they have WiFi or not.

    Vegan recommendations GF preferred?

They offer GF bread for sandwiches but I don't know if the bread is vegan. Hummus and grilled veggies for sandwiches!

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I got the iced Cardi B (a latte with house-made…read morecardamom brown sugar syrup with espresso and almond milk) and my fiance an iced mocha. The first sip of the Cardi B, my eyes rolled back, and I nodded to how good it was. It's not too sweet (I ordered all of this online on their website for pick up and was not able to ask for it half sweet, but glad they didn't over-sweeten it). The cardamom flavor is prominent, so if you don't like that flavor, I'd choose something else. I also ordered some breakfast items. I got the Lil' Verda, which is a breakfast burrito on a flour tortilla with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, avocado, and salsa verde ( I also added sausage to it). It's pretty tasty! It's a big burrito for being on a medium flour tortilla. I got the fiancé a breakfast sandwich on a brioche bun (you can choose what bread you want; they even have gluten-free) that came with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, and I added bacon for him (adding a meat was only $2, which is reasonable). As I said, I pre-ordered everything on their online ordering system. My order was ready when I got there as promised. The staff member who helped me was super nice and pointed out where the hot sauce (Tapatio) and straws were. They do have separate windows for ordering and pickup. If you order online, just head to the pick-up window. It is a little spendy (breakfast sandwich w/ added meat $10.75, burrito w/ added sausage $12.75, and two espresso drinks at roughly $8 and some change), however, everything is going up in price (Gas is up to $5.09 +), so take that as you will. Overall, it's a cute little spot nestled in a neighborhood. There is street parking, but it's in an area that isn't too hard to find parking, as it is further away from the very busy spots of West Seattle. I'd come back, perhaps take the fiancée there so we can enjoy it fresh.

Also, the menu on the wall is not super helpful because there are no prices listed for the base breakfast sandwich or prices for additional fillings or toppings. So if you don't ask for prices or look online (there's a QR code on the menu, I apparently skipped over this when ordering), you might end up spending a good chunk of change for your breakfast sandwich. It's around $8.75 for the base (bread, eggs, cheese) + $2ish per filling/meat + $1-3 per topping + Sauces are $0.50 Reuben croissant: asked for this warmed and the outside of the croissant was flaky and delicious, meat was yum, sauerkraut added a nice texture and acidity, and there was a sauce in there was was tasty too! Really enjoyed this one Super burrito: comes with eggs, bacon, cheese, black beans, sour cream, avocado, and salsa. It was tough to find the bacon or taste it because it was cut in small pieces. The black beans were sweet and they overpowered the whole thing with sweetness. The arugula didn't add much and was kind of annoying because it was clumped in one bite and hard to chew through. The size was great, but that's about it unfortunately.

Per the cashier, unlike previous years, where they often sold Paczki for several weeks leading up to the celebration, this year, they will only have them on Tuesday. Apparently every single one is handmade by the owner, Pâtissier William Leaman, and this year, he's been too busy with the 2026 Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie competition as the US team's coach. That's certainly a great excuse! When we arrived on a Sunday afternoon a bit after lunch, this place was still quite busy with a line that stretched to the door, but not outside. As with the Burien location, I find the ordering process to be a bit of a pain; while there are plenty of workers to help, ordering is slowed due to the fact that the display cases are placed in a line and there's not much room in the building to maneuver to the desired display. In our case, while we had someone helping us all the way in the back of the line, we weren't able to select anything until we got all the way to the pastry case in the front. I'm not sure there's a good way to solve this conundrum, though. At any rate, we ended up only getting a single pastry (that was new to us) to try this time. Brown Sugar Pecan Brioche ($5) - This pastry looks like a glistening pecan sticky bun at first glance, with a cinnamon roll-like pinwheel structure and a brown sugar glazed pecan topping. Since it's brioche, I expected it to be dense, but soft, rich, and sweet. This bread is anything but. It's dense, dry, crumbly, almost clay-like in mouthfeel; basically everything brioche should not be. Instead of a sticky caramelized coating over the pecans, the pecans are glued on with only the thinnest of sugar coatings. The pastry doesn't claim to be a sticky bun, so it gets a pass there. Unfortunately the base layer is absolutely terrible, by far the worst "brioche" I've eaten in years. It has all the flavor of hard tack with the unpleasant mouthfeel of Play-Doh. Canned Pillsbury cinnamon rolls are far better than this waste of perfectly good ingredients. The owner should be ashamed to release this swill to the public. (1/5) Why am I giving Bakery Nouveau a 5? Because they serve some of the best twice baked croissants known to man. The Capitol Hill location is my go to for a sweet and buttery treat and I still recommend it to everyone that visits me, specifically for the almond and chocolate twice baked croissants. The paczki are no slouches either; probably the best we can get around Seattle. Bathrooms - Single unisex room. Note: There will be some walk in availability for paczki on Tuesday, but the cashier told me that they will likely sell out by 10AM. Looks like an early morning trip to the Capitol Hill location is in my near future.

The pasta was amazingly tender, cooked to perfection. There was a lot of flavor and depth in each bite, more of a deliciously earthy mac and cheese as opposed to maybe a velveety smooth creamy type. The Jalapeño poppers were amazing. I've always associated poppers with a crusted fried topping but these were bold, going in a different direction. The jalapeños were fresh and soft to the bite, easy to cut with the side of a fork, loaded with components such as cashew cheddar, crema, avocado sauce, sweet pickled jalapeños, pico and cabbage slaw - all coming together perfectly in each bite (i'm utilizing their menu description) For the main dish, Sandi ordered the "Smokey Barbecue" which came with a complimentary side of chips and I ordered the Portobello French Dip and upgraded my side to a Side Salad for an extra $4. Each dish, every bite was delicious, even something as simple as a side salad was elevated with their Ginger Tahini dresing. Dipping the Portobello Sandwich into the Dip was just .. magical. We also both opted for the same drink, South Park Mule. We were lucky enough to get a table for 4 of us. The hosts were very welcoming and go us seated at the bar when it was only two of us. When we informed them about an hour prior to kick off that we needed two more seats, they did their best to get us seated. It was very kind of them to even look around, let alone actually find us space. This was very much appreciated. The first hour or so, when there was only two of us, we had a few beers, the cheese curds and the chicken fried steak with potatoes. The beers were exactly what you think they would taste like and they weren't terribly expensive which was nice. The cheese curds were a great shareable item, good flavor and a fair amount of them. The chicken fried steak was good, nothing crazy, but not below average. Portion was good sand it was cooked right to have that nice crips on the outside with the gravy poured over top. I think the only thing I wasn't that big of a fan of was the potatoes, I should've opted for the tots or hash potatoes instead, but I'll have to try it again. Yes, I would recommend this place.
