    Almond croissant

Seriously everything on the menu is fresh and delicious but the twice backed almond croissant is the best in the US! Service is always fast and friendly and the ambiance is perfect for carry out orders.

A neighborhood bakery with various baked goods and pastries. Everything was fresh and high quality. The Tuna Croissant was crispy eventhough it's a cold sandwich. Filling was full of dills and olives. The Junction Sandwich (warmed up) is A MUST. Lovely croissant filled with creamy scramble eggs, bacon, and ham. The perfect breakfast/lunch item. Sweet pastries were good too but the savory ones stood out for me. It's busy but line goes fast!

This place makes my mouth water. I'm a total sucker for French bakeries...they're my happy place. Butter, sugar, flour = love. The quality here is always spot-on, and there's something for every craving: sweet, salty, chocolatey, creamy, or flaky. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a beautiful glass case packed with pastries that look almost too good to eat. Some of my top favorites: * Pizza (any flavor) - Yes, even Hawaiian! * Cakes - I've ordered them for my birthday; they're incredible. Rich, decadent, and satisfying. The pink buttercream with raspberry filling and the sakura slice are standouts. * Olive fougasse - Crispy, chewy, and perfectly salty. * Fruit pastries - Raspberry, blueberry, apricot, or pear danishes -- all amazing. * Macarons - Light, sweet, and perfectly textured. Service is friendly and efficient. Even with a line out the door, they keep things moving, you'll rarely wait more than 10 minutes. It's a no-frills interior with a few spots to sit, but space is limited. On weekends it gets busy and a bit crammed, yet it's still completely worth the visit. The energy, the aroma, and the quality make it one of those spots you can't help but come back to!

Bakery Nouveau is an absolute Seattle and Seattle area bakery! I am so fortunate to live in West Seattle and have a location next to me! The staff is always really nice and they all provide excellent customer service and they are always upbeat from my experience. The space at the West Seattle location is kind of small and the line can get long, so sometimes they have you line up outside. The space feels very much like a cozy traditional bakery/cafe. I enjoy the decor of the space. The food is absolutely delicious! I love their desserts, which are totally premium quality! They also sell sandwiches and bread, but I have only ever had their desserts. They sell coffee as well for a little pick me up! My favorite desserts are the tiramisu and the mocha chocolate cheesecake. Both of those items are incredible. My wife enjoys the pistachio cake that they make. I also enjoy the Paczki that they make. Paczki is a polish donut. They don't always have it on regular basis, but when they do, it's amazing! Overall, I highly recommend Bakery Nouveau if your looking to satisfy your dessert craving, or if you're just looking for some coffee or lunch type of food!

The pistachio-cassis cake was a real hit. The cassis mousse was perfectly tart and the joconde sponge added a crunchy texture. Overall, it was great but a tad too sweet for me maybe due to the white chocolate layer and/or the sponge could have been half the height to balance it out more, but I like desserts less sweet in general.

I've been to Bakery Nouveau a few times now and it never disappoints. It's one of the best bakeries in West Seattle. They will usually have a line when visiting on a weekend. We tried their twice baked almond croissant which was absolutely incredible, it had a generous almond filling. We also got the danish. Their display case is filled with a wide variety of pastries to choose from. The space is cozy with some indoor seating which can get a bit crowded on weekends. We also had the stromboli as the pizza options were not ready yet. They do warm them up and call you when it's ready. The staff were very friendly and helped warm up the food again after it got a bit cold. Definitely recommend them for pastries and coffee and worth making the trip even if you're not in West Seattle.

    Eclairs and macaron

I was craving to visit a French Bakery and that's how I stumbled upon bakery Nouveau. It's a small quaint little place and was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon. They have a wide variety of sweet treats, breads and desserts to choose from. You're spoilt with options for cakes. Was so hard to choose. I chose a chocolate macaron, a Tiramisu cake, a vanilla and a chocolate Eclair. The macaron filling was too strong for my liking and the Tiramisu had a really strong layer of chocolate. The eclairs too were okay. Will I go back? I don't think so. Not sure if I ordered the right things but I've definitely had better eclairs.

Really cool place right on California in downtown area of West Seattle. Fantastic bakery! I've heard all the baked goods and pastries are worth a try! We tried the key lime tart and each had a cappuccino. Service was on point, friendly.

Better than you can imagine if you like marzipan, a great destination for a treat and meetup in West Seattle.

Run, don't walk! I came here three separate times during my seven day stay in West Seattle, what does that tell you? Excellent Quiches and coffee! Always a line, so the locals are in the know.

One of the best croissants I have ever had outside of Europe. Buttery & flaky with just the right amount of crunch. Sooooo good!

Kate, glad you asked. This location in West Seattle is incredibly inconsistent, & slow to answer calls. I prefer the Burien location bc of their larger production & professional staff bc I've called them, so I know how they handle calls. Cake prices… Read more
