First time stop

Was walking down the street and this new bakery caught my attention. I walked in "just to take a look" of course and was unable to restrain myself from buying a cinnamon role and a cherry and berry cream cheese danish (I think). The location is convenient and located on the corner the various items are laid out behind the counter on the pans they're cooked on. Not I am a regular visitor to Bakery Nouveau and thought there's very little chance to be my bakery of choice but I'm always open to check it out. I was walking so I asked for a bag as I had miles to get home, unfortunately they do not have any bags at this place. This seemed odd and short sighted to me, reduced how much I would buy?! So I walked 15 blocks holding the very ice box they gave me out in front of me. When I got home to share the bounty I decided to cut the pastries in half sine they're so large. In the process, I found that they were loaded with cream cheese and the cinnamons rolls included giant chunks of hard cinnamony goodness. The taste and quality was pretty good. Snapdragon Bakery is probably worth another visit and you should check it out for yourself, I'll probably try other items next time.

Great bakery in West Seattle, and easy (and delicious!) detour if you are at the farmer's market. Must try the ginormous cinnamon croissant roll. Get in early, they often sell out! The line can be long, but it moves fairly quickly and it's well worth the wait!

What a cute find in West Seattle! I am always looking for vegan and gluten free bakeries and when this one popped up on Yelp I had to try. Although there was only one option for little old me it definitely didn't disappoint. All bakery items seemed to be the same price (two pastries and two Americanos came to $24) but believe me they are huge and enough for two servings. The ambiance: think old school rustic bakery. Antique furniture with 80s rock in the background. Absolutely love it! Don't let the line out the door make you look the other way. Trust me - it's worth it. Just make sure to buy a few more to take home with you. I wish I grabbed another one of those raspberry bars.

Everyone raves about this place! If ever going to Vashon, many people say, "Make sure you stop by Snapdragon!" But now you don't have to go to Vashon...just go down the West Seattle Bridge for this delightful bakery. Their pastries and desserts are delicious! They're massive!!! I wish they had more savory options. But portions are huge; they can be shared or be saved for later. They're almost too big though...I know, sounds crazy because who wouldn't want a huge pastry!? I ended up having a lot of leftovers and sadly didn't get to eat all of it. It's a small area inside, so things can get a little tight, especially when there's a line going out the door. But nonetheless, they're super friendly here and the line goes by pretty fast

Why you would go to another bakery is crazy!! The atmosphere, the customer service are bonus to the offerings. They do offer gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options. Kid friendly with indoor seating ( 2 or 3 person seating. The portions are huge so you can share, but why would you want to?

I LOVE Snapdragon. I first found out about them when I visited Vashon Island, but they now have a location in West Seattle which is much more accessible. If you could only get one thing from here, let it be their cinnamon rolls. They are the biggest, softest, and fluffiest cinnamon rolls I've had. They are definitely on the sweeter side, but it's so delicious. Be sure to get here early as they get sold out quick. Everyone who works here are so nice and sweet. I simply love this place!

The cinnamon bun is the one everyone raves about I found it okay. It is good but the hard cinnamon was not my favorite and it was more like a bread texture good but not super soft like the way I like mines. Still worth a visit and purchase but a craving for me. We also got the pesto cheese bread that was good actually better for me since the cinnamon roll was a-little disappointing. I liked the savory better this morning.

Really cool vibes! Reminded us of our favorite donut shop when we lived in Michigan years ago. They were playing sea shanties and the workers were just really friendly and grounded people. The bakery selection was awesome and we wanted to get way more than one item so we will def be back to try more!

Delicious floral flavored bday cake with fruit and flowers. Special order.

By far the best bakery in the West Seattle area!!! All of their pastries and savory baked good are delicious. The place got a super cozy, magical touch to it. Great for a meet up or just to take a break from your busy schedule. The staff is absolutely amazing! You'll always be welcomed with a smile. They play great music and the vibe is just perfect. Conveniently located in the heart of the Junction. Def a must visit when in the area. Cheers!

This place is for those who have extra cash around, so that they could purchase a model of a fetus in various stages of development, at prices comparable to a real fetus. The shop is crammed full of antique-y type stuff, like curio cabinets, funky old chairs, old old opera glasses, animal heads, large boots of bygone years - The sales person is very hands off, and this is a store for browsing, not for people to follow you around, asking if you want to buy some strange-looking objects that resemble ancient butt plugs. Not that I can't appreciate this stuff in all its overpriced glory. I do like the funky collection of items here, but I also can't help but feel that Old Grandma Mabel from over a century ago is looking down on us and laughing that the old magnifying glass used for her rectal exam in 1889 now being sold here for 1000 times its original cost.

This is a pop-up shop and it is located just to the south of Jules Maes in the building that used to house the Vespa repair shop. It will be open for 60 days here only since it is a Pop-Up shop off of her main showroom on 17th Ave. SW. It may stay open longer than the initial 60 days if it does well. Definitely worth a pop in to the pop-up shop that opened on the Sup Pop Silver Jubilee day.

It's a good day when you can finally get your hands on these ice creams. I had been seeing them all…read moreover IG and heard how quickly they sell out. I tried twice before and no luck. They went quicker than a Sat shoe release and I buy lots of shoes. I randomly checked my email one day and was notified they were in stock so off to the website I go to snag some ice cream. I was expecting flavors to be sold out but was so surprised to see they weren't. I bought a Nasi lemak, strawberry crunch cake, rose milk tea, and blueberry basil lemon. All very good. Not overly sweet which I loveeee. Flavors are creative and very unique -Nasi Lemak: 4/5 surprising really good. Can't really taste the coconut as the peanut flavor is a tad stronger but the pandan is definitely there. Very subtle and not overpowering. I'm indifferent about the peanut flavor and if given the option would use less since it does kind of drown out other flavors. Overall really delicious though! -Strawberry Crunch Cake: 4/5 reminds me a lot of strawberry cheesecake. There is chunks of cake mixed into the ice cream and it's really nice. I was hoping it was going to be like the strawberry shortcake but still not disappointed. -Rose Milk Tea: 2/5 really really strong. I really enjoy lavender and thought I'd enjoy rose just as much. I do love the pieces of edible rose pedals but it's a tad sweet for me and so fragrant that it reminds me of potpourri. It's definitely not something I want to be reminded of when having ice cream. It's a great flavor for someone that enjoys rose but I will definitely pass on this next time. -Blueberry Basil Lemon: 5/5 this is my absolute favorite! I love blueberry, basil, and lemon all as separate flavors. I'm quite fond of them to say the least so when I saw that there was a flavor with all of these combine. I was very intrigued, it was like it was specially made for me haha. Very different and I'm surprise how well they all work together. Wish the lemon flavor was more incorporate in the ice cream instead of just in the middle but regardless it's delicious and I'll be savoring it until I finish the pint. While the ice cream are a bit on the pricier side at $14 a pop. I'm all about supporting local business and really happy I got to try some :) I'll probably try to buy other flavors in the future but I think I've satisfied my curiosity for the time being.

You place an order starting the Sunday before to be picked up anytime 1-3pm the following Sunday at The Station Coffee shop next to the Beacon Hill light rail station, so I did precisely that last week to try to Rose Milk Tea and Ube Marshmallow flavors. At $14 a pint (phew tax included!), it is quite pricey though these are local and Kryse herself makes the ice cream in small batches. It is definitely in line with premium ice cream, with a nice complex mix of flavors, some of them quite innovative. Rose Milk Tea - 3/5 I love how they have rose petals actually mixed in, and the flavor is quite fragrant. However, the batch of ice cream for this is a bit powdery and flaky, so it wasn't smooth like it should be. This ice cream was also a bit too sweet for me. Ube Marshmallow - 5/5 Anything with ube is great, but this ice cream flavor takes it up a notch! Although I placed the order for this apparently hours after they launched the upcoming week's orders, this flavor was not sold out, but it instantly sold out this week for the upcoming week. The marshmallow has a nice roasted flavor that pairs really well with the ube itself. It is also not as sweet as the Rose Milk Tea - "not too sweet" my favorite level of sweetness. I will likely prepare in advance and order these ice cream again, as the flavors seem to be rotating quite often, though I will reserve it for celebrations and special occasions as the prices are a bit high to treat this as a "stress-eat" ice cream.

We visited this branch of Bakery Nouveau, hoping to snag some paczki since we forgot to preorder…read morefor Fat Tuesday (or as Michiganders know it, Paczki Day). Per the cashier, unlike previous years, where they often sold Paczki for several weeks leading up to the celebration, this year, they will only have them on Tuesday. Apparently every single one is handmade by the owner, Pâtissier William Leaman, and this year, he's been too busy with the 2026 Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie competition as the US team's coach. That's certainly a great excuse! When we arrived on a Sunday afternoon a bit after lunch, this place was still quite busy with a line that stretched to the door, but not outside. As with the Burien location, I find the ordering process to be a bit of a pain; while there are plenty of workers to help, ordering is slowed due to the fact that the display cases are placed in a line and there's not much room in the building to maneuver to the desired display. In our case, while we had someone helping us all the way in the back of the line, we weren't able to select anything until we got all the way to the pastry case in the front. I'm not sure there's a good way to solve this conundrum, though. At any rate, we ended up only getting a single pastry (that was new to us) to try this time. Brown Sugar Pecan Brioche ($5) - This pastry looks like a glistening pecan sticky bun at first glance, with a cinnamon roll-like pinwheel structure and a brown sugar glazed pecan topping. Since it's brioche, I expected it to be dense, but soft, rich, and sweet. This bread is anything but. It's dense, dry, crumbly, almost clay-like in mouthfeel; basically everything brioche should not be. Instead of a sticky caramelized coating over the pecans, the pecans are glued on with only the thinnest of sugar coatings. The pastry doesn't claim to be a sticky bun, so it gets a pass there. Unfortunately the base layer is absolutely terrible, by far the worst "brioche" I've eaten in years. It has all the flavor of hard tack with the unpleasant mouthfeel of Play-Doh. Canned Pillsbury cinnamon rolls are far better than this waste of perfectly good ingredients. The owner should be ashamed to release this swill to the public. (1/5) Why am I giving Bakery Nouveau a 5? Because they serve some of the best twice baked croissants known to man. The Capitol Hill location is my go to for a sweet and buttery treat and I still recommend it to everyone that visits me, specifically for the almond and chocolate twice baked croissants. The paczki are no slouches either; probably the best we can get around Seattle. Bathrooms - Single unisex room. Note: There will be some walk in availability for paczki on Tuesday, but the cashier told me that they will likely sell out by 10AM. Looks like an early morning trip to the Capitol Hill location is in my near future.
