Came here for happy hour with some colleagues. The ambiance was nice and the patio was so nice with fire pits. I ordered the rosemary popcorn, fried green beans, and cheese curds. These are the best cheese curds ever bc the batter isn't heavy like other cheese curds I've had. It's tempura battered so it's light and you can taste the cheese more. The jalapeño strawberry dip and ranch are good dips, but try them together and it will blow your mind. The fried green beans were okay. They did have a heavier batter on them and I wish they had the same batter the cheese curds had. The spicy dip was good! The rosemary popcorn was delicious! It had just enough butter and the perfect amount of rosemary where it's not overpowering. Once you get to the bottom, there's tons of butter and you just dip and soak it up with the popcorn. Located in West Seattle's "The Junction," it's a solid sport bar if you're in the area to watch the Seahawks and grab a drink and some food. Parking was free and plenty of it on the streets. I visited on Super Bowl Sunday, about 2-3hrs before the game to get seats. This was a good idea because there was only a handful of seats available. We were lucky enough to get a table for 4 of us. The hosts were very welcoming and go us seated at the bar when it was only two of us. When we informed them about an hour prior to kick off that we needed two more seats, they did their best to get us seated. It was very kind of them to even look around, let alone actually find us space. This was very much appreciated. The first hour or so, when there was only two of us, we had a few beers, the cheese curds and the chicken fried steak with potatoes. The beers were exactly what you think they would taste like and they weren't terribly expensive which was nice. The cheese curds were a great shareable item, good flavor and a fair amount of them. The chicken fried steak was good, nothing crazy, but not below average. Portion was good sand it was cooked right to have that nice crips on the outside with the gravy poured over top. I think the only thing I wasn't that big of a fan of was the potatoes, I should've opted for the tots or hash potatoes instead, but I'll have to try it again. Yes, I would recommend this place. Seems like a good place to meet with friends for a game and meet friends. I think it's time I update my review even though I love the bridge and nothing has changed for me. This place is my favorite for comfort brunch food or even the wings. We're well into April but I still have friends that wanted to take me out for a belated birthday meal so I chose the bridge since it's been awhile. The brunch menu has changed a bit but still so good! They now offer a Benny flight and brisket Benny that I ordered. The brisket was delicious and the hollandaise really complimented it well. I also ordered a farmers Bloody Mary and it was so yummy!! Loved all the pickled veg that it came with. My friend said her Benny flight was delicious. She got 3 diffferent style; reg Benny, Cali, and a brisket. For the price I think it was worth it to go that route. I had a great time here. Service was so nice! I wish I remember the servers name but she was new and super sweet. Another person nearby had forgot his hat and I saw her chasing him down to return it. Saturday morning brunch! First in the door. Warm greeting, and choice of seating. We had two dogs in our party, so we headed to the patio. Two big screens on, not sure of programming that early in the morning. Tables were set with a cup of napkins and utensils, bowls of creamer and jam packets, and sweeteners. Our first time at this establishment since moving to the neighborhood. We have seen this place in passing and always wanted to try the weekend brunch. Classic Mimosas were simple and satisfying- perfect complement to our food. My fiance got the chicken fried steak and I got the bridge bene. That sausage gravy is heavenly and so savory. It kept me stealing bites throughout the meal. Might have to get next time. My bene was delicious and the cheddar biscuit it comes on definitely beats the usual English muffin as it is fluffier and has more flavor. Hollandaise was tasty and thick. Today one of my three Irish guests told me they tried to go out to the Bridge last night - they are all in their mid to late 20's and working professionals. Understandably they were carded at the door. What is INSANE is they were told they would NOT be let in because they held international driver's licenses!! These folks all have VERY heavy Irish accents!!! They are all a family of a wife, a sister and a husband and are young professional looking!!! So The Bridge does NOT allow international clientele? This was a fantastic find thanks to Yelp! I was going to be in the area and opted to try to get some brunch. The Bridge sucked me in right away with vegetarian biscuits and gravy!! One of my favourite things to eat, but the veggie version can be hard to find and I'm too cool to make my own at home. The restaurant was very clean with plenty of lighting from the sun and I was greeted promptly. The server was really great the whole time and she definitely really tied the atmosphere together. I ended up getting a cruising the currant beverage, which was definitely really good and I'd really like to try some of the other cocktails they offer. I got the Back in Black biscuits, which came with a delightful black bean crumble. Excellent biscuit dish! The biscuit itself was the perfect texture and the gravy was perfectly made, not the exact same as the meat version, but it's close and I don't think I could do any better. I ended up taking a biscuit home for later and still found myself wanting more. I don't always go out to brunch, and I very rarely head up around West Seattle, but I most certainly need some more of that biscuit bar! read more

They also have some good sauces to pick from that go well with it Price (9/10): $50 for 2 extra sides and 2 main breakfast meals and a mimosa so I didn't think that was bad Overall (5/10): The food here is always hit or miss so just depends when you go I guess. The Bridge is located a little south of the main shops and restaurants on California Ave. It's on the corner and plenty of side street parking. This establishment is 21+ only so don't bring the kiddos for brunch, which is only served on the weekends from 10-2pm. Definitely gives off a dive bar, sports bar vibe and it's pretty much self serve but they bring your food out to you, everything else you have to bring to your table such as drinks and water. There is a drip coffee refill station which I did not get this time as I opted for the Irish Kiss which has Jameson Irish Whiskey, Irish Cream, Hot Coffee, Lucky Charms Marshmallows in it but mine unfortunately did not come with the marshmallows which was disappointing. Food wise I got the Brisket omelette which had pretty good brisket I must say. I was pleased with how it tasted and the portions, albeit smaller than your normal brunch places, was a good portion for me. My boyfriend got the chicken fried steak which he found tasty as he cleaned his whole plate lol! I ordered a side of Texas toast and asked for the breakfast potatoes but got sourdough toast and has browns for my omelette itself which was also disappointing. We got a cozy booth, which each booth was by the window which was nice. I'm not sure how I have not reviewed the Bridge before as I've been going since it was in the old location closer to the Bridge. This was actually the last restaurant we ate in before the pandemic and the second one we ate (outside) at now that we are fully vaccinated. They have made their back deck area truly beautiful - it feels private and sheltered but still very much outdoors. There are tables with small fire pits and other tables on the edges that are nicely spaced apart. You order at the bar and they bring your food to you which was great. Food is slightly upscale bar food - I had chicken wings this time which were nicely flavored and crispy and juicy. We also had tater tots which were a bit under cooked but still good because it is hard to say tater tots are not good. And we also had the bread pudding which was delicious.
