Really fun spot for karaoke! We went on a Monday night and the plane was pretty empty, so our group of four had full unfettered access to karaoke until another group showed up. The host of karaoke was fun, friendly- and a great singer himself! (He jumped in to sing a few of his own songs). Food was standard, but good! We came during the Pride celebration and had a fabulous time. It was extremely busy but staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was basic American bar food yet still enjoyed by all at great prices. I don't want to totally annihilate with a 1star but that would be more fair. Ordered DoorDash for the first time and the ramekin size coleslaw was $5! That's just insanity. Also the burger was so charred and Overcooked and the bun was black and as hard as a hockey puck. I can't believe they let this order out the door and have an audacity to charge $5 for a barely full ramekin of slaw. Somehow they have good reviews. Go figure. read more

A fun place period. Or wait, do I just add the period and not actually say "period"? Anyway, if you're looking for a fun time, at a dive-ish bar with great food and drinks, and more importantly, a feeling of community, then come here, and come here often! They have karaoke Sun-Fri. The KJ's are great and the people are so supportive of every singer! People also like to stand up near the stage to dance and sing along. They have music bingo on Mondays, which is such a laid back and fun way to spend an evening, along with some drinks and food. I would not have guessed how delicious the burgers and chicken sandwich here are! I would come here for the food alone and the fries do not disappoint. The atmosphere is nice. It is a bit dark and neon, a little divey but also a bit nice, bathrooms are clean, and there is ample seating for being a smallish to midsize space. While I've only been here a couple times, the community vibes here have me excited to regularly come back for food, music and connections! read more

We arrived at 5:50pm for happy hour, but there clocked read 5:56. The bartender was a bit moody when we arrived wanting to order from the happy hour men, but she then realized what she was doing then changed her tone. Happy hour menu was very good. We ordered the Mac and cheese, wedge salad, and a burger with drinks. Everything was delicious! Then at 8pm, karaoke started. It was a great crowd, so friendly and supportive. We had a great time! I've been there a few times now and it's...fine? I guess? First, I'm not sure what's going on with the ambiance. I have an aversion to faux brick walls. I'm also not sure about what seems like palm trees and faux brick, but I'll admit, there are many things in this world that I don't understand. There's always something that just strikes me wrong when I go. Last week (which was probably my last visit) the bartender took our order for two manhattans. We watched him walk around, stirring something in the shaker, looking around, talking to someone before bringing two drinks to the table. He sat them down and shared that they were out of vermouth, so the drinks were basically whiskey that was watered down from a lot of stirring and bitters. He didn't really ask if we still wanted them, he sat them down with the news and a caveat that he was only charging us for one and went back to the bar. Okay. Our grilled cheese was delivered by someone who seemed really nice and it looked great, but the cheese was far from melted (I could peel away the slices with my fingers) and the bread was so buttery that my whole face felt greasy after eating it. After deciding to move along with our lives, there was a different bartender (blonde woman) who seemed irritated that she couldn't hear my request for the tab. When I practically shouted to be heard over the music and through the mask, she rolled her eyes at me and plopped down a slip showing a total of $31. I always want an itemized bill - every time. So I asked. And yes, it was $31 for one sad beverage and a grilled cheese sandwich. I think that while half the block is still burnt down and choices are limited, they might do okay. read more

Great sandwiches and reasonable prices. Online ordering is smooth and order was ready *exactly* when I set it for pick up. We had the reuben and the turkey avocado - both very good but the reuben was our favorite. The mac & cheese was perfect, creamy and delicious but not over the top heavy (portion size was also good for something this filling/rich). I am jazzed to see something new open in this location and I cannot wait for the opportunity to sit at the bar and enjoy a drink..or 5. Looks super cool inside. read more

It took me a bit to find them as they hadn't gotten their signage up, (it's up now) and it was snowing, however, the effort was worth it! We ordered two delicious beef dip sandwiches and a Rueben, macaroni and cheese and tomato soup. I make homemade tomato soup so I can be picky, Boom Box nailed it! The mac & cheese was truly amazing, creamy and rich. I would recommend getting a large container and using the left overs for lunch. The sandwiches were both hearty, and very yummy. I look forward to having a meal inside with a cocktail. The place is warm, cozy and has a good vibe, I can only imagine what it will be like when things really open up. read more

Staff was super friendly, the service was fast, and the music is fun. I'm glad this place is open during the pandemic. So maybe we came on a bad day (based on the 4-5 star reviews), but the burger was burnt, and my beef dip sandwich was pretty flavorless (as was the accompanying au jus dipping sauce). Curly fries were great, and the fried green beans were interesting... maybe could be great on another day. YMMV read more

Laid back bar with a fun 80's vibe providing a calm atmosphere allowing for the ability to relax alone, take a date out or be out with a group of friends. The food is well prepared, elevated, but without taking itself too seriously that you lose the bar feel vibe, with adequate portion sizes that leave you full not needing more. The house sauces are delicious and worth the dollar charge for extra. Vivian(the bartender) was friendly, and knowledgeable in her mixology skills, while still providing a dominating but approachable vibe. used to be one of my favorite spots to grab a bite and drinks. i was really disappointed when they took their tomato soup off the menu, however now they've rewritten the entire menu and replaced their sandwiches with... burgers (boring). truthfully the only reason i went to this place was for their menu. decided to try the new burgers and they were nothing special, i could get a better burger for cheaper nearby. you can get good drinks anywhere but they removed the one thing that gets people coming back- good food. please reconsider going back to sandwiches. read more
