Quality ingredients, caring service, cute lil' cafe, and a beautiful view of Alki Beach and the Seattle Skyline. I love their fresh juices and bagel sandwiches! My favorite Juice is the Pineapple Express with light cinnamon and I add a little cayenne too. I love that you have the option to choose if you'd like your juice cold or hot! One day I'll adventure on the menu and try a smoothie bowl or boba. Everything is made to order fresh and is well worth the wait. If you prefer not to wait I would suggest making an order online. There is a bench out front to chill or you can ask how long and go for a little nature walk. It is a bit pricy but worth every penny supporting a small business with quality ingredients and that cares for the community. read more

Owner was unpleasant. Her tone and general demeanor were not welcoming. Def doesn't seem like a people person and I watched as others came, and left without ordering. She smiled while she refused to answer simple questions. Such as what were the most popular menu items. I didn't think this would be such an off putting question but she became visibly upset. This is a question I ask anywhere new I patron. She said there wasn't a popular choice that everything was the same. Again, very off putting response/tone etc. So I asked what her fav menu items were. She again became even more upset and this time told me she didn't have any favorites they were all the best. just disheartening to see a local small business owner who seemed clearly put off by interacting with people. I over heard several others talking about a similar experience as they were walking out. The friendly and personable cashier at Marination, across the street, said she had heard the same thing from others who had gone there as well. As far as the value for the money....My friend who ordered a 6oz matcha paid $9... for a tiny little drink full of ice. Draw your own conclusions from that. I paid almost $6 for an iced tea that tasted like water. There were no coffee /tea amenities. No coffee bar. Zero napkins, or sugar, or stir sticks, nada. Absolutely nothing. When I asked about the empty pastry case, I got more atttidude saying pastry's weren't popular. Good gawd...just unnecessarily unpleasant at every opportunity. I know we all have stuff going on in our lives, but taking it out on others just isn't the way. I really didn't appreciate my or my friend's experiences here. read more

Imagine my surprise when I ordered the Pineapple Express and the barista started cutting up fresh fruits including the pineapple! What a treat! The drink itself had the perfect blend of juices, honey, ginger and cinnamon! I would drink this every day if I could. The banana milk was fresh as was the banana milkshake. So yummy! Breakfast to start the day in West Seattle across the street from the water taxi pier. Locally owned with super friendly service. Got the burning beta juice and blt bagel. The burning beta lived up to its name. It had a kick with the cayenne. Initially you could get all the flavors but the cayenne took over from the pineapple, orange after a few sips. Good concept a little less on the cayenne would have allowed the other flavors to come through. The blt bagel was good. The bacon was perfectly cooked, nice and crispy. The fresh tomatoes were very good. Cream cheese was used instead of mayo and red onions finished the bagel. I went light on the cream cheese and that was a good idea. Unless you really like red onions I would go without. Everything is made to order by the 1 person that works there. We had no issue since there was no one in front of us. But other folks had to wait that came in after. For your info this is a take out cafe, no eating or drinking in the establishment. read more

It's located directly across from marination. There's plenty of parallel parking available and if you're lucky, you might be able to find parking in the marination parking lot if you're lucky as well. The chai latte and the salmon bagel were good. It wasn't super over the top, but they're good and I'd go back. It's a small take out style setup so don't plan to be inside for much longer than to place your order. You can expect a few minutes wait if you place an order for more than a drink, but you can always kill some time with the view of Seattle. I'd say it's a great place to pick up a drink and take a stroll along the water. If you want something simple, right next to the water, I'd suggest this cafe. Something to keep in mind, if you need to use the restroom, you'll need to cross the street for the restrooms right outside of Marination. read more

I love this place so much. I'm so grateful to have access to organic juices. She makes them all fresh to order so you know they've never been sitting in the fridge. I cannot recommend the Pineapple Express enough (get it hot - trust me). The bagels and everything else on the menu is also amazing. I popped into this cute cafe and ordered an iced latte (no extra flavors) it was so good just the espresso and milk combo & I ordered the lox sandwich which was very tasty. There isn't seating inside, but you can walk right across the street with your food and enjoy amazing views of the Seattle waterfront! read more

Vanessa has owned this beautiful coffee shop for 9 years and it shows. It's a wonderful representation of the perfect morning spot for a cup of coffee and a unique bagel sandwich. Most coffee shops don't put this much time and love into their food anymore. I was impressed with her extensive and healthy menu. What a lovely little cafe with chill and cozy decorations. I had the lavender milk tea and the BLT bagel sandwich. I love how for both my drink and my sandwich, Vanessa asked me about every detail -- how sweet do I want my boba, how much cream cheese do I prefer on my bagel, and so on! The sandwich had just the right amounts of everything and the lavender tea with boba was just how I like it. Don't miss out on the view across the Bay towards downtown Seattle! Such a cute little cafe at the beginning on Alki! The owner Vanessa is so sweet, we stopped in on a weekday morning and we're surprised at just how busy she was. Post covid similar to Dicks Drive-In you order your food to go instead of eating inside. Snagged "the Nova", and Avacodo Toast Bagel. YUM! Also tried to Thai iced tea with bobba, the PB&J bowl and Açaí bowl. All very delicious! Can't wait to stop back in for coffee and cameras! read more

I've loved this place for ages - used to have a little office in the Active Space building down the street, and would come here regularly for the most DELICIOUS bubble tea ever, and a lovely chat with Vanessa, the owner. Vanessa is an absolutely wonderful human being, and I was so happy to discover that she and her fabulous cafe managed to weather the pandemic! Just got my old favorite, lavender milk tea with boba, and wow yes Vanessa's still got that magic touch. Soooooo good! For those of you who know what I'm talking about, she has the real deal milk tea - not the weird powdered stuff you find sometimes. And her boba is always perfectly soft and yummy. And she's always so incredibly sweet about making sure you like it - she always invites me to try the drink and then let her know if she can change anything, add sweetener, etc. And she totally means it! She will take it back and change anything you want her to. This place has the best boba and milk teas, so much so that we still make a point of driving out to west seattle when we visit, even though it's been years since we lived here! Vanessa, the owner, is incredibly sweet and a pro who has trained with authentic boba places all over including in Asia, and she uses the good stuff (which if you know, you know). You can get your drink hot, with light sugar, however you like it which is not the case at many places! Also a full espresso (taro lattes anyone?) and smoothie menu plus bagel sandwiches and smoothie bowls. I got a black sesame milk tea with boba this time, and it is phenomenal!! I got the chia chia smoothie, huge mistake. It was more like water with flavor and chia seeds. It tasted just like lemon water, that's it. I don't know how it was so watery, yet the boba was frozen. My boyfriend had the peanut butter swirl, it tastes like a PB n J. Not bad but average. His was more like a smoothie but still a bit too watery. I don't care about how long service takes but it took them a long time to make such poor quality boba tea. And the price, $30 for a small and a large?! Decided to give them a try and boy was I right.. the owner is very sweet and friendly and the soy milk chai I ordered was really nice.. just what I wanted to enjoy my walk on the beachfront.. the owner also offered that I try my chai and she was willing to add extra sugar spice or anything I felt was not upto the mark.. kudos for taking live customer feedback something very few businesses care about..They do charge for substitutions but its worth it if you want it.. i will stop by when I stroll around again.. definately a nice local coffee shop.. read more

I had a very disappointing visit to Unwind Cafe and Market. The lady at the front was extremely rude and disrespectful--not just to me, but also to my friends. She made us feel unwelcome and seemed completely uninterested in helping us with anything. To make matters worse, the wait was ridiculously long even though we were the only ones in the shop. The service was unprofessional, and it's clear they don't prioritize customer experience. I would not recommend this place and certainly won't be coming back. Not sure who the gooner they hired was, but she should be fired and required to pay me for the terrible service she gave us. How pitiful must you be to be so ungrateful to work in this beautiful country and make a name for yourself, to cast your awful aura onto me, a level 10 sigma, heir to the throne of sigma leader. I actually watched the owner make my Green Drink and it tasted amazing while containing almost all vegetables (green drinks at other spots usually taste like I'm licking grass). Poor coffee & moody staff. They don't even care for it - just over froth the milk and dump it in a cup. Moody staff, snarky response to a simple question, refused to take our empty coffee cups. Awesome location, would benefit from remembering they're in the service industry and if they don't like serving customers, let someone who does and is passionate about coffee to make the most of this great place. read more
