fruity pebbles shokupan
Nini N.

Little Jaye is one of the few spots where I actually crave biscuits and gravy--biscuits are buttery and fluffy, the sausage gravy is perfectly peppery and super satisfying. Food comes out pretty quickly, and their pastry case always has a great variety. I also tried the Fruity Pebbles shokupan, which was light, fun, and not overly sweet. There's limited seating inside but they also have an outdoor patio, good for when it's nice and sunny outside! Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to!

Cinna-morang latte, Smashwich

My family and I enjoyed this place, the smashwich is HUGE, I was delightfully surprised when I received it. It's delicious and I think definitely worth the price for what you get. I also had the cinna-morang latte, you can smell and taste the orange. Also their service is quick and organized.

Still a solid 5/5 for me. Everything is so good and the staff so friendly. We came in around 9am and it got super packed immediately after. I had to get my staple granola yogurt bowl (hits so hard) and favorite muffin- Spumoni (yummy but needed more cherries)! Grabbed a chocolate chip cookie and chocolate salted Rice Krispie. The cookie wasn't it for me but the Rice Krispie was totally my jam- not too sweet with a good chew.

Breakfast sandwich

This is everything you want in a breakfast sandwich!!! You've got the toasted bun with their in-house aioli, fried egg, breakfast sausage patty and cheese. I absolutely love this place. They are pretty quick in service and the ambiance felt like a modern dining setting. Another thing about this place is they have some pretty good pastries. Ya'll gotta come through and give it a try.

Shokupan so bomb

I really liked the filled doughnuts! It was perfectly sweet without tasting like fake sweetness. I had a ube latte and the brown butter bourbon rice crispy treat, it was so yummy :) inside has several seating options and the decor is inviting as well.

Indoor and outdoor seating available. I've been here twice. Baked goods are hit or miss for me. I like the rice crispy treats, but the Amman toast is disappointing, way too sweet (even with the sea salt flakes on top) and no crunchy crust as expected (like a kouign-amman). They offer specials daily. On the day I visited, the special is fried chicken sandwich.

Vanilla cream shokupan

Had an overall great experience at Little Jaye. I think the best way to describe it is unique, in the best way. With novelty coffees, rice crispies, delicious shokupan, and an awesome breakfast sandwich, you couldn't go wrong. The vibe inside is also fun and unique, but a little small. As you walk in you order at the counter, find a table, and wait for your items. Our coffees were actually pretty mid, not super impressed. But the food made up for it. I couldn't get enough of the items we ordered. Price point seemed fair as well. If not for being a bit out of the way in a random part of south Seattle I would be going often.

Located in a more industrial part of town, this place can be fairly inaccessible without a car, but the location gives some tranquility from the hustle and bustle of the city. Even Sunday brunch was not too busy with half the tables open, with a good number of people doing takeout. This place is more fast casual as you help yourself with water, utensils, etc and clean up after yourself, and you can enjoy your meal quickly. We got the cereal killer latte (Trix whole milk), orange cream cold foam cold brew, and blueberry lemonade for drinks. We also tried the Smashwich which is a sausage egg breakfast sandwich with a hash brown. Food and drinks are decently priced but the pastries on display were fairly pricey ($6.50+) but sizable portions. The cereal latte had a nice cereal milk taste and also had some cereal garnish on top floated by the milk foam. I really enjoyed this drink. Note that if you opt for oat milk, it's not Trix but Reeses and $0.95 extra. The orange cream cold foam cold brew is nice, not much sugar, decent orange flavor. The blueberry lemonade is quite tangy yet flavorful. The smashwich is good portion and the egg is perfectly runny. I love a good breakfast sandwich and this one hits the spot. One thing to improve is the flavoring of the sausage since it could be a bit dry and bland, but the rest of the sandwich made up for it

Potato chip marshmallow krispy treat

Cute little place. The staff was so nice. The sweets were all so tempting. We ordered a savory item and got 2 sweets. They use a big coffee menu. Has outdoor dining as well. Yummy!

Ambiance here is fire, love the vibes, customer service and the food and coffee. Wouldn't mind coming back here again. Dessert here surprisingly not too sweet.

Super cute bakery in South Park. Really tasty baked goods and serves good lunch options in the early afternoon. Tried their chocolate chunk cookie, breakfast sandwiches and fries, which have all been satisfying to my belly. Staff are always friendly and love the relaxed environment.

Ruffle Rice Krispy Treat

Stopped by after lunch at Loretta's with my brother and dad this afternoon. Had been wanting to visit her for awhile. Definitely wanted to get one of the rice krispy treats. it was later in the day so less variety but still some delicious looking items to select from. Treated my brother. We went with two of the Ruffle Rice Krispy Treat he got one of the shokupan monkey breads and I selected one of the jalapeño corn muffins to go. The location is in a office park area. Lots of parking available which is nice. We got items to go but there os seating outside and inside. Everything is nicely displayed. The staff was really friendly made us feel right at home. Definitely would go back earlier for coffee and bakery. What we picked up was delicious. Liked the salty sweet of the rice krispy. The corn muffin had just the right kick and was moist. Look forward to visiting again soon

I was visiting West Seattle for five days, had Little Jaye bookmarked in Yelp to visit. First visit I tried their Amann toast, chocolate chip cookie, smores Rice Krispies treat, and a vanilla and chocolate shokupan. My second visit, I came during their last hour, most pastries were wiped out, but there was a few items left and I was told that their last hour of the day is happy hour and anything left was half price, I ended up trying their coconut cookie. Got a couple chocolate chip cookies, and regular rice crispy treats. Out of everything I tried, the items that stuck out to me were, the s'mores rice crispy treats, coconut cookie, and probably my favorite would be the amann toast. I will definitely be visiting next time I'm in Seattle .

I made a points to tell the barista, "I do not like sweet drinks". She said "We don't make our drinks too sweet here". I have heard that line before where a coffee shop tells me they can make it less sweet with using less pumps. Or that their drinks are not sweet, and I take one sip and I'm in sugar overload, this was not the case with All City Coffee. My vanilla cinnamon iced latte was perfection. It was probably one of the best drinks I've had in a long time from a coffee shop. Coffee with smooth and bold and not acidic at all. Highly recommend.

I think there were less than 15 tables so it seemed strange that it would take that long but decided to try it anyway. The setting for this cafe is pretty nice so we were anticipating an equally good experience with service and food. The food took 1 hour and 20 minutes from when we places our order to when it arrived.. the server was very nice and offered free drinks but at that point we wanted to just have our meal and leave. It was even more disappointing when we tasted the food and found it mediocre. The crepe we ordered was undercooked on the inside. We probably could have gone grocery shopping and whipped this up for less time and money. The prices are pretty high considering that they're serving breakfast food. We really wanted to like this place :(

There's no public restroom nor dedicated interior here; just several outdoor tables, and you order your stuff through their window. Menu mostly consists of both phin-dripped coffee and banh mi sandwiches of various kinds. One of my closest friends enjoys coming here every once in a while to enjoy both their coffee and banh mi. From a previous visit here around 2023 with friends, I do consider their banh mi sandwiches as one of the best in the Seattle area, and they need more recognition for it. This time I only got coffee for both me and my sis. Servers were really happy to tell me what's in each kind of coffee I asked about, their own recommendations, and how I wanted each coffee (hot/cold, whole/oat milk, etc.). They were also very accommodating when I wanted to suddenly switch from iced to hot coffee for both drinks since it was cold, wet and rainy outside. I got the pho spice latte for myself, and the da lat fog for my sis. Both drinks were really tasty and I enjoyed them: - In particular, the pho spice latte has some of the ingredients in regular pho broth like star anise and cinnamon, along with cardamom and fennel. It had such a strong citrusy fragrance when I was drinking it, and had that recognizable hint of pho broth. The espresso still stands out, and drink was perfectly balanced with the strong cinnamon. - My sis's da lat fog also had a strong cinnamon taste and aftertaste but without the stronger coffee caffeine. Oolong tea aroma is apparent, and the drink had a nice, sweet and vanilla taste to it. It's different from a London fog which has earl grey tea instead, so this one was a unique take on it. On a warmer day, I can see myself coming back for their banh mi sandwiches yet again, while having their coffee on the side as well. This is a place I'd put on my list to make sure family, friends and visitors have at least once!

Depending on whos behind the counter, some of the baristas don't know how to pull a proper shot. Id steer clear of ordering cortados or espressos, they are hard to take down because its so acidic. I don't know his name, I apologize, but there's this Brown guy that's super sweet and can make a decent cup of coffee. The other older gentleman, Jay i think is his name, seems incompetent. I point to a pastry, he asks me "which one?" If you are ordering lattes or anything like that, lower your expectations. The syrups aren't in house, just standard Torani. It tastes watered down. There's no body to it because the espresso shots are lacking. The scene is very similar to Starbucks except the prices are higher. Not worth it. I'm usually there pretty early. Around 7:30am to grab a pastry or the veggie wrap to get me through lunch. Lately their variety has been lacking. There's but a few selections which is weird since its so early. Today I ordered their maple pastry and i later found a strand of hair at the bottom of the container. I called to stop by for a replacement later which they said yes but im honestly so inconvenienced. Its cold, i would have to walk all the way back which i dont want to do. This experience for me was the feather that broke the camels back. Will not be coming back, theres just not much to it honestly. I miss the older location, La Resistencia. Their cortados were so creamy and smooth. They knew how to aerate alternative milk despite its difficulty. Amazing service too along with beautiful art to admire. Sigh Gave it a one star but added an additional one for that cute brown guy.

Cake descriptions on the website but you have to go in for slice and cupcake availability- you can't pre-order slices. The shop is easy to get to with ample close parking. Inside is cute and industrial. The shop folks were lovely as well, really warm and inviting. We selected 4 slices- malted chocolate, blackout cake, funfetti, and carrot pineapple. All the whole cakes were simply decorated, but beautiful. The hubs said his funfetti cake was okay, but not outstanding. I thought it was more of a white butter cake with nice chewy sprinkles. Delicious, but maybe not the explosion he was expecting. A classic birthday cake, elevated. The blackout cake has a really rich flavor without being overwhelming- a more milk chocolate Matilda cake vibe. The carrot pineapple is pretty much a perfect carrot cake- not spice or nut, but CARROT, in the most beautiful way. The buttercream on the carrot cake is the best I can remember having- butter flavor and a smooth, sweet cream taste. But all those accolades aside- the chocolate malt cake is, simply put, the cake I would go back for. The cake itself is a perfect, moist chocolate malt flavor, without an artificial tasting aftertaste. The frosting is if they made the inside of a malted milk chocolate candy into a light, fluffy buttercream, without the cloying sweetness. I am not a huge sweets person, but cake is a special weakness. This may be the best cakery I've been to- and one I will gladly pay for.

Average slice of cake is about $11, and you can also order cakes for a celebration. We had the 11 lb porter cake and the Lemon-nilla meringue cake, both were delicious. The chocolate cake was very rich and the meringue was piled high on the other. We had to try to only eat half and then saved the half for the next day! Staff was friendly.
