I am a huge fan of Grateful Bread! It is easily the best coffee shop in Duvall, and I don't think much else really compares. It has a rustic farmhouse vibe that feels so inviting and cozy, yet still has that perfect neighborhood feel. It's such a great place to spend a rainy Sunday morning catching up with a friend. We stopped in for breakfast and both ordered a Breakfast Sandwich on an Everything Bagel. I'm a big fan of their bagels--they're chewy but still have that nice crunch on the outside. I get mine with Sausage and add their Herb & Garlic Cream Cheese. I paired it with a 12-ounce Vanilla Latte with Sugar-free Vanilla, and both were exactly to my liking. I also love that they make their own Sourdough in-house, and you can even buy a whole loaf to take home. I'm a huge fan of this spot and will definitely keep coming back! read more

They were unfortunately out of the breakfast sandwiches but you know this place is legit when literally the property line next door is a fully dedicated kitchen/bakery area where they literally make all the bread!!! It's amazing. The ham and cheese croissant and salad were like 4 stars. But the real star of the show was the quiche!!! Literally the best creamiest quiche I have ever tried in my life. I would come back here lining up just for the quiche! Wish I ordered two! Also their freshly baked bread loafs are Fresh and so tasty. Such a cute spot on Main Street. I grabbed a couple sandwiches to go and had to try a cookie, of course. The sandwiches were good, but the caprese wasn't my favorite (the spinach was a weird addition to me) but I would definitely try a different sandwich next time. If you are around in need of good coffee, you better visit them. They can get a big line because they are also baking at the same time so be patient. Coffee is great (btw they have non fairy alternatives), but pastries are awesome. So fluffy and soft. It is a small, but cute place with not that many tables. They have a couple outside next door open space, but it could get a bit cool on winter. Fun fact: that space was where there used to be Duvall's doctor in yhe early 1900s. He lost his life trying to safe people when a train derailed. read more

We found out that their Cinnamon Rolls usually sell out before 9am. If you really want some then apparently their Seattle location usually has them throughout the morning. Nevertheless the rest of their food was amazing as always. read more

cute simple hole in the wall - truly have to look for it when walking down in downtown duvall. resting place next door to its second building where you can see the goods being made, the ambiance is so relaxed. a nice place to sip some warm coffee with a good treat, & have a nice talk with a loved one. the range of options for baked treats that were savory & sweet was magnificent. freshly baked every morning, along with their biscuits & gravy. which, their lunch menu is as well extravagant filled with varieties of sandwiches of all sorts. the coffee is very basic of what you'd find at a normal coffee shop word of advice though is to make sure to go in the morning, otherwise your missing out on all the baked treats ! by closing time or even a few hours before, they're pretty much wiped of everything: that should seal the deal of how good they are ! the only downside i saw was their biscuits & gravy was very much do a let down. the bread was good, a savory biscuit, but the gravy was lacking flavor & was pretty milky / season-less. i was only able to stand eating it once i went home & added my own seasonings, which isn't worth it when going out to eat read more

Everything I've tried is very good, one thing I wish I'd known is that they don't bake bread on Sunday, so if you're looking to purchase bread on Sunday, it was baked on Saturday most likely. It is still good, but it's not quite like the baked fresh the same day version. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. Today, May 14, 2024, is the third time that I have been here. Of course I come out here to do other business. But when I'm here, I always stop in at the "Greatful Bread Baking Company & Cafe" in Duvall Washington. It's located in a quaint old gray with white trim early 20th century style storefront. It serves breakfast and lunch, and the greatest chocolate chip cookies and other confectionaries. Ellie, Bella, and Mike are among the friendliest people you find around these parts. I've never eaten breakfast or lunch here yet, but probably next time I will. They take mobile pay and have free Wi-Fi (password on chalkboard at register). Whenever I'm in town, I'm a frequent flier at Grateful Bread! My go-to order is an iced oat milk latte or just espresso shots, both are always great. I used to work for cafe vita so it's likely I'm biased, but I love the way the coffee tastes. I'm a sucker for the almond poppy seed muffins so I usually try to get in early to ensure I can snag one (or two whoops). Our family also loves the croissants and usually take a box home to warm up later. I can't speak on any of the baked goods/sammies other than the muffins and croissants, but if they're anywhere close to as good I know I'll love them. It's small town vibes inside. I usually walk down with my two dogs and they sit outside while I go in to grab the coffee and snack (and dog treats!). I usually see a couple people I know or at the very least people I've seen in there before. Does that make me a regular? Twist my arm. The ambiance is cozy and quaint and it's a great place to go get work done when I have things to do on my laptop, too. The staff is always sweet and meet me with a smile.. and usually talk to me about my two cute pups sitting outside. This is a delightful bakery in Duvall! It was really busy on a Saturday morning when I arrived, and the fresh baked goodies smelled amazing, as well as the display case looking so tempting! I was lucky to get one of the last 2 cinnamon rolls (they sell out early!), and wow, it was really really good. Would return just for a cinnamon roll! The frosting was some of the best I've ever tasted. I also grabbed some other items to try: Plain croissant - was really well baked, nice butter layers and lovely flavor! Raspberry scone - they use fresh berries, and this feels more like a European style scone (so not super sweet!), and was tasty! 2 Mini cookies - chocolate chip and pink frosting. I'm not a cookie type of person, but always tend to try at bakeries - and these were truly better than some of the cookie shops that only sell cookies! They were buttery and packed with flavor! I also got a Latte, and this wasn't my favorite (this is a bakery after all I guess!). The store itself is cute, and pretty big, but even still, nobody really knew where to stand in line, so perhaps there could be some signage or something!
