On a sunny day in Seattle - felt like going on a long drive and landed at Valley Brewing House and it was the best decision ever! We ordered their charcuterie board and soft pretzel with their house beer cheese and mustard sauce and stuff tasted amazing! For the beers, we tried the following options and loved it all - White Saison, Lime Fez, El Solo Mexican Lager, Squirrel Nut Dunkenweizen, Good Neighbors Imperial Stout & Jetsam Juicy (wasnt our fav)! We loved everything we tried except for the Jetsam Juicy which wasnt my kinda beer but my husband did enjoy that! This is a lovely brewery around 45 mins drive from Seattle which serves great food as well! There is ample parking right in front of the brewery or in the back lane 2 mins drive from the brewery! Service was excellent and fast! I loved the location of this brewery and will be back again pretty soon with my folks! Highly recommend!

Great beer list, food was fresh with a menu full of variety, and staff were super friendly. Great atmosphere both inside and out on the patio!

First time here and it didn't disappoint! Very casual brewery vibe, but still felt homey. Service was okay, I feel like there should've been one more server because the one server we did have was just rushing around and she talked kind of fast to get everything out before rushing to the next table but I get it if understaffed/busy time. The drinks and food were so good! I cannot wait to come back and try more!

We came here in the afternoon to relax with some beer after a long day full of fall fun & corn-mazing. Parking was a bit tough to find because the lot was full, but we found one spot on the street next to the building. I love the outdoor seating! The tables are spaced out well, there's a great view of the forest which was especially nice because of the autumn leaves starting to change color. It was just a pleasant vibe overall. The waitress was super friendly and explained the beers well. We ordered the Senescence Amber and Tolt IPA. Both were good but I'm not a huge IPA person, so I preferred the amber. It really was rich malty goodness. We also got the soft pretzel. It came with awesome beer cheese and mustard sauce. I expected to like the cheese more, but I would say these were both equally delicious. I would love to come back when I'm in the area to try other beers and food. I heard their pickled veggies are a wonderful snack!

Service was friendly but a bit slow. They were busy and so was the lady helping us. But it took a while for the food to come. We didn't realize it would all come at once. We were a little put out by that...but we didn't ask either. The hubby didn't like the beer. He felt the IPA was weak and the grapefruit infused beer was just meh. He enjoyed his reuben. I thought my grinder was just meh. It was cold and the bread was super thick. I was under the impression it would be a hot sandwich. The pickled vegetables were tasty along with the coleslaw. The star of the show was the lemon mousse. So tasty. The town of Duvall seems kitchy... this seems a popular spot but I don't think we would drive out of our way to come here.

This place is amazing! All of the food and drinks we had were delicious, and our server was absolutely the best! The cremini mushrooms, pretzel with beer cheese, and flan were especially noteworthy! We sat outside with our dogs and enjoyed a beautiful fall day. Our server was the sweetest and checked on us frequently. She loved our dogs and even sent the cook out to come see them. He even brought them a little treat, which they loved! We just had such a great experience here and I can't wait to go back!

I'm addition to a great beer selection, there is an amazing chef. Every item I've tried was constructed with care, abundant in flavor, and fresh as it gets. They will pull a menu item before sacrificing its quality. The service is very friendly and welcoming. If it's colder outside do wear a sweatshirt as it's openness can be a bit chilly.

Nice little pub, indoors and out. The flight I had: mexican style had a nice flavor and refreshing like a lager usually is, Heff was tasty, Juicy IPA was not bitter which like and tasty fruit notes, the imperial stout was a disappointment. It has nice coffee/chocolate notes but there was an odd bitter aftertaste. You can't take a wine drinker along without buying an entire bottle of wine. Not very hospitable in my mind.

Chips and onions dip with house pickles, such tasty snacks with beer!

I love this place and always recommend it to people to try. They have a great selection of beers and the food is really good. I love the pretzel and the pickles. I've tried a bunch of styles of beer from sours to stouts and have always been happy with my choice. Definitely check it out if you're looking for great beer and food!

Ask the Community - Valley House Brewing

Do they also serve wine for any people who aren't beer drinkers?

I know they serve cider and pretty sure they serve wine but we didn't order any.

Their website was easy to navigate to find out which food truck would be there and when. We ordered our food first then handed inside to warm up before picking up our order. The space was really spacious and nice. The vibes were warm and cozy with a large TV projector screen playing sports, good music and all types of seating and tables. They have a dog water bowl near the front where you can also get water with clean cups nearby too! You can also tell it is a beloved location as it was getting quite busy and there were children, dogs, and adults enjoying the space and time with one another. We got two 10oz Diamond Knot root beers which was divine! I recently started drinking root beer from breweries and I am a huge fan, as I think brand named root beer is gross. The drink paired really well with our soul food order. The bartender was really polite and seemed to be good friends with his regulars which is a good sign. I asked him where we should put the drinks and he politely let me know to the side of where he served me would be great and there is a sign to put empty glasses as well. We will look forward to visiting when we can as we are all the way from Tacoma but it is definitely worth coming back to!

The Five Forks food truck deserves a high five, it was great. We were there with 8 of us to celebrate a birthday. First of all, the beer selection at the time had 4 or 5 pilsners and the rest almost all IPAs. I get it, IPAs sell but I don't know about the pilsners. The lack of beer variety isn't even the issue as much as NOT ALLOWING FLIGHTS! OMG, YOU'RE A SMALL BREWERY! WHO DOESN'T OFFER FLIGHTS??? I get it, investment in glasses and a little more maintenance BUT YOU'RE A SMALL BREWERY! As a business and finance person, the flights give you maximum margin on your product AND serve as a marketing tool for exposing consumers to your various products. It's actually a negative NOT to have them. Instead, we had to order multiple full glasses and shared the backwash (sarcasm but it was family). Actually you would have more money because we would have all ordered flights and then likely ordered larger of the ones we liked instead of finishing off the stuff that was meh. The beer itself was fine. There was one IPA that had some unique qualities but overall as a whole, they were just ok. Another downfall was that they sell themselves as family friendly, but had a single root beer as the only non-alcohol offering. How about just having some canned soda for the kids? I had inquired in advance about ciders for gluten free options for our celiac and they said "we have ciders" which turned out to be a single cider so that was disappointing as well. The place does have some potential, but untapped at this point.

So when I saw this location of…read moreBellevue's largest microbrewery, my wife and I had to stop in for an early lunch with a sampling of beers. The food and beers were great. As the name states, the very large brewpub is located in the Spring District, inside the park/greenspace. The district used to be an industrial area, that has been transformed into a mixed residential/retail area, centered around the light rail transit station. The brewery makes great use of the outdoor space, with a lot of seating for an impromptu biergarten on nice days. This Tuesday was a typical March day in Seattle, which meant dining inside was a must. We ended up finding street parking a couple of blocks away, though they do have validated parking: in the underground parking right below (with under 10 dedicated spots) and the bigger Spring district Parking garage nearby. Amanda was our server, and she was super friendly, giving us suggestions. They have a large selection of house brewed beers, and we chose eight of the non-IPA ones as two flights, consisting of 4 5oz glasses (assuming it cost $12). We tried the Harvest Boom P.O.G. Wheat (this was our favorite one), Bothell Brown (liked this one), Snake Charmer Irish Red (strangely very mild for a Red), ChugMeister Mazren Lager (my second favorite). Second flight consisted of 1882 Pre-Prohibition Lager (very crisp and light), Muckle Flugga Scotch Ale (really like Scotch Ale in general, though hard to find on the West Coast...thought this version was OK), Schwarzbier Black Lager (different, very mild, really enjoyed), and a Der Kommissar Pilsner (super light with no body). I don't think I've been able to choose two flights of non-IPA in-house beers before...they keep a very large selection here, and it's worth coming to, just for the draft beers. We ordered some bar food that both of us like, and each plate was excellent. Shareable thick cut fries ($11) was very filling, especially since they were fried very well and were sturdy enough for dipping. Got Scotch Ale Chili ($13) and it was hearty, with plenty of pinto beans and good ground beef, with not too much chili powder. It came with housemade tortilla chips, which were thin and excellent. Wanted to try their beef birria, ordered their birria Nachos ($19) and it was really well prepared. Everything was diced into small pieces, used a really good beer cheese sauce and the the fresh guacamole was solid. For a brewpub, it has excellent bar food. The portions were large...we ended up taking about half of it home. Next time, will stay longer and try some of their main course dishes. The room was modern with plenty of windows for natural light. The central bar is huge, but there are plenty of bar tables as well, letting patrons decide how they want to dine/hang. My only complaint was that the payment process was at the table with only a tablet, and gave me no chance to look at the receipt. The total seemed right and was expecting a chance for receipt, but Amanda grabbed the tablet after my tip and signature before I could ask for a digital receipt, and then disappeared. I suppose I could have tracked her down, but getting a receipt after a meal should not be that hard. Can't remember the last time I was out, and couldn't get a receipt easily...would have made this review a bit easier.

I'm not a huge IPA fan, but they always have something malty or lager-like on the menu, too. Food is, IMHO, solid. Burgers are good, the fish and chips can be greasy but are usually quite good. Wife seems to like the chili and gluten-free pizzas. Staff are always awesome characters with a (fun, good) personality. Usually some game is on the TVs, and depending on time of day/week/year the crowd varies. Go visit. Breweries are closing because the younger generation's drinking less. You don't have to drink a ton, just support a local place with good food, vibe, and drinks (there's plenty of NA things).
