If that's the establishment's policy, that's one thing--but the way it was handled was completely unnecessary. The blonde waitress was extremely rude and passive-aggressive from the start. Instead of politely explaining the policy, she spoke to us with an attitude that made us feel unwelcome and embarrassed. Good customer service goes a long way, even when enforcing rules, and unfortunately that was completely lacking here. We understand that bars have to follow policies and make decisions about IDs, but there's no excuse for treating paying customers disrespectfully. We won't be returning, and based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend this place to others.
