I want my Fn BEER!
Erica W.

This brewery is in a residencial/secluded area in Bothell. It was funny coming here because when we pulled up, I felt as if we were going to a friends BBQ or house party. HAHAHA! There is plenty of places to park on the property. Plenty of tables and chairs, or wine barrels as tables for standing room. There were lots of cool things to look at in the gargage. Their beer fridge inspired me and my husband to collect beer stickers and do the same to ours! They have merchandise for purchase; Glasses, bumper stickers, shirts, growlers, even phone cases! We got sucked in and bought a glass, growler, and sticker! We will definitely come back in the spring/summer time and do some "day drinkin'!" Not to mention, bring our doggy! I love their motto too; "I want my Fn Beer!" HELPFUL HINT; **CASH ONLY** (We had to turn around and go get cash out from a local store!)

I love this brewery! It is one of my favorite brewery in washington. Its literally out of the owner's garage. Wooden barrel for tables...stools for seating. I will try anything they brew. Today we ordered the diablo del sol. An english pale that is so well balanced you cant stop drinking it. We also had the swoop, an ESB. It was pretty good but compared to the diablo.....it couldnt hold up. They had a special bitter on nitro as well...little lucy. Great place but remember it is CASH ONLY!

Love the idea of this guy who brews beer in his garage. Had to check it out. Owner is a super nice guy and has a nice setup, with a decent amount of parking. Worth checking out for the novelty of it. I'm not a beer drinker but my husband (beer snob) says it was decent but not amazing.

Garage brew house!

This is probably one of the smallest breweries I've ever been too. Its located in a family neighborhood and is actually in the garage of the owner and head brewers house. All pints are $5 and single tasters are $1. I really enjoyed the Diablo del Sol, which is their English Pale Ale and the Big Butch, which is their imperial red ale. The brewery is only open on Saturday's from noon to 4pm. They also sell growlers and 22 oz bottles to go. Parking is limited.

The Pho French Dip is next-level--rich, flavorful, and perfectly done. The Meatball Sub was hearty, comforting, and packed with flavor. Great food, great experience, and clearly a place that cares about quality. We will definitely be back!

Food & drink: (4/5) Ironically only one person in my six person group likes beer, with two others (including myself) who are turning around to it. With that being said, I got the american pie cider, two of my friends got various IPA's that I'm failing to remember names for, two others got root beer, and another got a kombucha. I really enjoyed my cider! It was refreshing and I would definitely get it again. As for food, we got fries with truffle oil and a monster cookie with vanilla ice cream. It was all so good! I would only say that the fries are in need of more salt but that's something I could've easily asked for (was too lazy in the moment). Service: (5/5) STELLAR staff here. Everyone is so friendly and there were all smiles when I looked around at other guests.

They have a nice little patio area where you can enjoy your beverage and you are allowed to bring food from neighboring restaurants! We enjoyed a couple of rose pours here before I spotted the guava hibiscus sour from Payette brewing in Boise! So much flavor and the right amount of sour. Just how I like it! Right now they are practicing social distancing and allowing only one person in the lobby at a time with a second register at the back for ordering once you've been seated out back. There are so many good options available in this tiny footprint of space right off the main drag in Bothell. I look forward to future visits to this neat spot!

I got a small glass of some rando cider, but I think that I got charged a higher peace than what was listed on the chalkboard menu that hangs up above the cashier table. Staff was welcoming, but idk...was not feeing comfortable here. Very tight, too. Only like three stools to sit at if you decide to stay at this bar. Very cold here, too. At least the bathroom was spacious...arguably more than it had to be because would be nice to have more floor area at the front so more customers could be seated. Not much else to say except that the bonsai bar workshop was a cute experience, but also very hard to hear them because the portable heaters would be running, but gave out no heat after 30 minutes. Soooo, what was the point? Hm...

The service is friendly and helpful, offering samples of any tap option (even multiple), and when we walked in the person behind the counter was playing cribbage with someone (customer?) but paused the game promptly to help us. There are no hot food menu options but they're fine with you bringing in your own food. Overall, this place is great for people who like to have drinks while watching sports or playing board games (which they have several options to choose from), and is great for groups with its wide open floor plan, but not great for someone looking to have lunch or dinner with their beverages. They have monthly comedy nights/improv and weekly cribbage on Thursdays (according to the person playing with the bar staff).
