Everett has a few cool breweries that I frequent. Admittedly, I only stop into Lazy Boy when someone else suggests Lazy Boy. Although Lazy Boy isn't my favorite Everett brewery, I do stock Lazy Boy brew in my fridge. The amber is my favorite. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Visa and MasterCard are accepted forms of payment. Lazy Boy is family and dog friendly. Lazy Boy is a warehouse type of brewery. Location is in the middle of warehouse businesses. Indoors is cement, pipes, wires and painted/taped floors. Bring a light sweatshirt if you get cold easily. Lazy Boy offers a few light snacks: popcorn (donations welcome) and snack-sized chips. One can bring in their own food or they can order food from local restaurants. Restaurant menus are available to view. Aside from drinking brew and visiting friends/family, Lazy Boy has a couple pin ball games, darts and fooseball to play. Keep brewing tasty beer Lazy Boy and I'll keep stocking it. read more

It's Election Day, 2016, and I thought I'd write one last review before the Earth explodes. And I figured, why not end it all with a 5-star review? Lazy Boy Brewing is certainly deserving of all 5 of them stars and then some. Great beer, great service, great ambiance, and great community involvement. I really loved coming here and regret not having tried it sooner. The above "greats," in order... --Great beer: we tried both the Lazy Boy IPA and the Lazy Boy Amber, both made right there in house. The IPA was bold and hoppy and snappy and all of those good things, while the Amber was full and rich and made me feel warm inside. I'd get the Amber again next time and just stick with it. --Great service: the bartender (Rob) made it a point of visiting our table and all of the others, and not just stopping by to say "hi" but to actually engage in pleasant conversation and tell us a bit about Lazy Boy. A very large gray cat that lives in the brewery also made it a point to visit the table, but the cat didn't engage in much conversation. Just cat-like self absorption and receiving of pets and pats and scratches. Typical. The cat has an extra toe on its forepaws if you want to try out your best Inigo Montoya impersonation. --Great ambiance: cool lighting and seasonal decor on top of what is already just a really neat space, complete with a popcorn machine and other snacks (small donation requested for popcorn and pretzels, or you can buy some other crunchy snacks). There are a few TVs and some comfy chairs in addition to barstools and tables. There are signs on the tables that list upcoming events like trivia nights and games that will be on; plus, you can bring your own food in; keep that in mind for next time, if the Earth doesn't explode tonight. --Great community involvement: we came here because Lazy Boy gave $5 vouchers for folks who donated blood at the Everett blood bank a few months ago. I love when businesses support things that matter like that. One other note: definitely use mapping software and patience when looking for Lazy Boy, because when you arrive, you'll think there's no possible chance you're in the right spot. It's next to invisible from the road and once you're in the parking lot and even walking into the building, a voice in your head will be hissing "no way, this can't be right." Oh Lazy Boy Brewing, how do I love thee?? Let me count the ways... Porter, Belgian, IPA, Hefe, Pilsner.... Well, you had me at Porter. Really, you did. I first sampled LBB's porter at a preview event for Hop Scotch festival and was amazed at how smooth and rich their porter is. It paired perfectly with some of Theo's chocolates (namely their Hazelnut, divine pairing.) Their Belgian is also fantastic, and my beer-loving roommates liked their IPA as well. Tim is a great sensei when it comes to laying down some beer knowledge on me, and also gave us a quick tour thru their brewery, I believe we spoke with the owners as well and you could not meet nicer people if you tried, these people are serious about their beer and it shows. We ended up taking a 1/6 barrel of their Belgian home (we got a kegarator, ohhhh yeahhhh) and I bought a bottle of their Porter. Sadly they were out of their tshirts, otherwise I'd brand my upper region with their logo :) I highly recommend seeking out Lazy Boy beers, or even make a trek up to Everett and get some fresh on tap. Lazy Boy has a cute set up. It is in a psuedoindustial and storage area not far from the Everett Mall. We tasted several beers and they were pretty good. I realized though that some tasters are free when you go to some breweries, most actually and they distinguish that a taster is different from a small glass from a sampler set. These tasters though here are not free and you will be charged for any taste you get that they offer you. Not that that is an issue with me but some may be surprised when a taster is offered and see it rung up on their tab. I settled on the Pilsner and it was decent. I had more flavorful but it was not bad. The service was good and friendly and they have fun puzzles and books to gaze at while you drink your beer! Their cat book they have so rings true on it's scenarios as to how cats are. If you ever had one you can totally relate! read more

I always have a great time here. We especially have to come for the Washington brewers open house because Lazy Boy often collaborates with other breweries in the area. They offer popcorn, foozball, sampler trays, delicious beers. Not a TON of seating but you don't often need it because it always just seems to work out :) read more

Kind of off the grid and tough to find! My GPS had me in some parking lot driving in circles.... When we finally figured out how to get here, parking was also a challenge. Got inside, no where to sit. Standing room only. Oh well. Let's order some beer! We came because we had a Groupon; free sampler and a growler & fill. Tried almost everything they had on their menu. Sadly, there wasn't any that stood out for me. The only one I remember was the Russian Imperial Stout, and thats because that sucker had 10.2% ABV... it was strong! Pretty decent, I rated it a 3.5 on UNTAPPD, which was the highest rating I gave to any beers at Lazy Boy. So, again... Didn't love Lazy Boy's beers, but it was fun hanging out there. read more

Came here as this place is near other local breweries. They have a small but good selection of beers. They have several tables inside. They also have a popcorn machine for all customers to enjoy. They also have a membership and you can have your beer glass hung on their wall. I don't know how much it's costs for the membership. The guy who has providing service on this Saturday night was nice. If you go in the evening you should have no issues with parking as they shake the parking with the L&I building which i assume closes after 5pm. I will definitely check it out in the summer. Hit this place with a groupon. Typical industrial setting for a craft brewery. We got here just as they were opening so there was no crowd or anything going on. So the rating is based solely on drinkability of the brews which was fine. Nothing jumped out as a "wow, this is good" but nothing hit the " OMG this is terrible" either. Shawn and the crew know how to brew great beer and they are always trying new recipes. I lament the fact their redhead ale was sacked, but their staple brews are excellent. I'm partial to heavier beers such as their porter and IPA, but if you like lighter beers they have them as well. The Belgian is too sweet for my taste but it's definitely different. I like their brown ale (mistletoe bliss), but I think Diamond Knot has the edge with their recipe. Shawn will give you samples when you visit if you aren't sure what you want and you can also pick up a LB T-shirt and silk-screened beer glasses while there. They offer kegs of every size and you can fill your growlers there as well for a reasonable price. read more

Such a neat find in Everett! The tap room is open til 8pm most nights and has a nice selection of beers. You can also buy growlers, which makes it perfect after you have tried all of their beers and you want to take some home. I have been meaning to go here forever but never made it. I really think they should advertise a little better as I was certain this was just a little tiny thing and not an actual place where one could go and hang out with friends. I was also amazed to finally figure out how close this was to places in Everett I go all the time. Cute place! The owner/brewer was super nice and bar tender who came in later one was awesome too! Enjoyed chatting it up with both of them. The flight was unique which is always appreciated! A decent selection of brew on tap too. My fav was the Heffie while the hubby enjoyed the Coffee Porter. They are also leashed dog friendly, but that wasn't the best part! They have a brewery cat!!!! Loved it! We would definitely go back if we are ever back in Everett. read more

Nice local brewery. Luckily I work very close by so the "Back Office" is a nice place to retire to on Thursday or Friday afternoons. They recently did a small expansion in their tap room to accommodate a few more people. They have a nice rotation of beer and all are pretty high in ABV. The variety isn't substantial but overall the beer is decent. Pretzels and popcorn aplenty. read more

Visited this place on a Saturday afternoon. Very friendly people. Believe it or not I did not drink beer. They do not make gluten free beer and so I went with a soda. This made me the designated driver. My boyfriend liked all the beers but the IPA. Everyone has their preferences. The brew master was very friendly. It is tucked behind some buildings and in the far corner. If you turn into the parking lot off of 7th Ave right after you pass Grocery Outlet and drive to the very end you'll see the brewery. Or, if you turn on 100th, it's behind the Dept of Labor and Industries. If you reach the UPS you have gone too far. It's worth going to and having a brew. read more

I was feeling lazy and stumbled into a place called Lazy Boy brewing. When walking toward the front doors I almost turned and left. This little brewery is hidden in an industrial area and right up until I opened the front doors I had my doubts. When the door opened the aromas of the beers brewing was incredible! The good: fantastic beer, informal/relaxed environment, convenient location (for me, anyway), awesome owner, complimentary snacks (like pretzels), they allow outside food, and it's just perfect for cards/boardgames and beers with friends (or hanging out and chatting) The less-than-good: nothing to drink besides beer (no hard cider, for example) for someone who might prefer a sweeter selection, and there is only soda (not even a seltzer water and lime) for the designated driver; no real food for the hungry person, almost no onsite parking, and the opening hours aren't super convenient (they close pretty early) read more

I've been here twice now and I am ready to go again! The fact that it's tucked into a little industrial area kind of back behind the Everett Mall, makes it all the more appealing. This brewery is very close to work so it works out to be the best spot for after work drinks. They have beers for all types of tastebuds. I prefer the Amber and the Lazy Boy IPA. They offer free snacks (normally popcorn or pretzels) and also have different types of events throughout the week. Trivia Thursdays seems to be popular, although I have not had a chance to try it out. I will definitely be visiting here again. read more

We came here because we had a Groupon for a growler fill, two pints and a sampler. I was pleasantly surprised by the laid back atmosphere, and wondered why we hadn't been here before, since we make a point of supporting local breweries. I remember now, though, that it's not open on sundays, which is inconvenient for us. Otherwise, this is a really great place, and I'm sure we'll go back. We came here for the UW vs Oregon game last week and had a blast. Great beers and really friendly staff. They turned the the up while the game was on, much appreciated! It would be awesome if they served food here but sadly they don't. Fear not! They let you order delivery. The outside is nothing special, don't let that fool you. It is a brewery after all. Came here with a group of friends for my birthday. The atmosphere was pretty cool - you're basically sitting in a fenced in area in the middle of the brewery. There were quite a few different beers on tap and the sampler was a good value. My only complaint is that none of the beer blew my socks off. Everything I tried was just ok. Good beer, nice tap room, although they could use more windows. Dog friendly, so that's always a plus. Their Weiss beers and Oktoberfest are on par with the same styles I've had in Germany. My husband and I stopped by on a busy Thursday night and loved the new hidden gem! Though for being so hard to find, the place sure was hoppin! The server working was very patient with giving us directions over the phone and very knowledgable about Lazy Boys delicious beers! A group of us were there for Octoberfest. It was our first time there but we live down the street so the sign brought us in while driving down the street. The beer was pretty good! Better than some of the other local breweries we have been to in the past. The taproom has a cool set up where you can see all of where they brew. They said there was supposed to be a food truck because they don't serve food but nobody was there while we were. We did enjoy some free popcorn. The service was nothing special. The girl working didn't seem to care if anyone was there. She hardly spoke to us and when someone next to us asked for a sample she looked annoyed. The guy that cashed us out was pretty cool but looked like a patron. Overall not a bad experience but I would suggest a little more enthusiasm.
