Lazy Boy IPA, with popped corn and pretzels
    Chris H.

It's Election Day, 2016, and I thought I'd write one last review before the Earth explodes. And I figured, why not end it all with a 5-star review? Lazy Boy Brewing is certainly deserving of all 5 of them stars and then some. Great beer, great service, great ambiance, and great community involvement. I really loved coming here and regret not having tried it sooner. The above "greats," in order... --Great beer: we tried both the Lazy Boy IPA and the Lazy Boy Amber, both made right there in house. The IPA was bold and hoppy and snappy and all of those good things, while the Amber was full and rich and made me feel warm inside. I'd get the Amber again next time and just stick with it. --Great service: the bartender (Rob) made it a point of visiting our table and all of the others, and not just stopping by to say "hi" but to actually engage in pleasant conversation and tell us a bit about Lazy Boy. A very large gray cat that lives in the brewery also made it a point to visit the table, but the cat didn't engage in much conversation. Just cat-like self absorption and receiving of pets and pats and scratches. Typical. The cat has an extra toe on its forepaws if you want to try out your best Inigo Montoya impersonation. --Great ambiance: cool lighting and seasonal decor on top of what is already just a really neat space, complete with a popcorn machine and other snacks (small donation requested for popcorn and pretzels, or you can buy some other crunchy snacks). There are a few TVs and some comfy chairs in addition to barstools and tables. There are signs on the tables that list upcoming events like trivia nights and games that will be on; plus, you can bring your own food in; keep that in mind for next time, if the Earth doesn't explode tonight. --Great community involvement: we came here because Lazy Boy gave $5 vouchers for folks who donated blood at the Everett blood bank a few months ago. I love when businesses support things that matter like that. One other note: definitely use mapping software and patience when looking for Lazy Boy, because when you arrive, you'll think there's no possible chance you're in the right spot. It's next to invisible from the road and once you're in the parking lot and even walking into the building, a voice in your head will be hissing "no way, this can't be right." Off to watch election results...good-bye, cruel world...

Oh Lazy Boy Brewing, how do I love thee?? Let me count the ways... Porter, Belgian, IPA, Hefe, Pilsner.... Well, you had me at Porter. Really, you did. I first sampled LBB's porter at a preview event for Hop Scotch festival and was amazed at how smooth and rich their porter is. It paired perfectly with some of Theo's chocolates (namely their Hazelnut, divine pairing.) Their Belgian is also fantastic, and my beer-loving roommates liked their IPA as well. Tim is a great sensei when it comes to laying down some beer knowledge on me, and also gave us a quick tour thru their brewery, I believe we spoke with the owners as well and you could not meet nicer people if you tried, these people are serious about their beer and it shows. We ended up taking a 1/6 barrel of their Belgian home (we got a kegarator, ohhhh yeahhhh) and I bought a bottle of their Porter. Sadly they were out of their tshirts, otherwise I'd brand my upper region with their logo :) I highly recommend seeking out Lazy Boy beers, or even make a trek up to Everett and get some fresh on tap. Their location is a tad hard to find, but it is in a business park with Sears and Dept. of Labor warehouse/offices. mmmm beer...

I always have a great time here. We especially have to come for the Washington brewers open house because Lazy Boy often collaborates with other breweries in the area. They offer popcorn, foozball, sampler trays, delicious beers. Not a TON of seating but you don't often need it because it always just seems to work out :)

Purchased a group on for tasting. Great service, live music and beer. Will definitely be back.

Purchased a group on for beer tasting for two. Great atmosphere, service and beer! Will definitely be back soon.

Sort of in an industrial area at the far back of the building.

Cute place! The owner/brewer was super nice and bar tender who came in later one was awesome too! Enjoyed chatting it up with both of them. The flight was unique which is always appreciated! A decent selection of brew on tap too. My fav was the Heffie while the hubby enjoyed the Coffee Porter. They are also leashed dog friendly, but that wasn't the best part! They have a brewery cat!!!! Loved it! We would definitely go back if we are ever back in Everett.

Sign in the rest room - it made me laugh.

Visited this place on a Saturday afternoon. Very friendly people. Believe it or not I did not drink beer. They do not make gluten free beer and so I went with a soda. This made me the designated driver. My boyfriend liked all the beers but the IPA. Everyone has their preferences. The brew master was very friendly. It is tucked behind some buildings and in the far corner. If you turn into the parking lot off of 7th Ave right after you pass Grocery Outlet and drive to the very end you'll see the brewery. Or, if you turn on 100th, it's behind the Dept of Labor and Industries. If you reach the UPS you have gone too far. It's worth going to and having a brew.

Good beer at the brewery but not a fan of the bottled stuff. This place is a bit small and the service isn't the worst but not the best.

Non-alcoholic beer as well as canned wine can be purchased. Now equipped with a kitchen, pizza's (10") can be ordered to enjoy with your beverage. To streamline the cooking process, substitutions are not allowed. On Friday's, Taco-S-Abroson food truck is available from 4pm-8pm. The food truck does not accept credit cards; cash only. During this visit I has a can of House Wine Red Blend for $10 to sip on. For dinner I chose the Works Pizza (#10) for $15.50: red sauce, cheese, pepperoni, sausage, ham, red onion, olives and mushrooms. Quite the tasty pizza. ---------------- This is a cool little brewery right in my backyard. Free parking can be found in the parking lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. This brewery is essentially a refurbished hangar so dress accordingly. It's a good idea to bring a sweatshirt or jacket to ward off the chill. There are a few TVs mounted throughout the hanger. Board-games are also available to play while sipping brews. Beer listings are displayed on a nice digital screen. A couple beers have a high ABV which limits those beers to two pours. There isn't really a kitchen; however, simple foods such as sandwiches and chips are available. Waiter service is non-existent. Orders are placed at the counter as well as picked up at the counter (beer & food). My wife ordered Audrey for $5 a pint. I ordered the Back Stabbing Bitch (2 pour limit) for $5 a pint. We both enjoyed our choices. For lunch my wife ordered the Traditionalist Polish Dog with original Tim's potato chips for $6. Can't go wrong with a hot dog. I ordered half a Big JW with a bag of jalapeno Tim's chips for $6. My sandwich was generously topped with meat and cheese and grilled to a nice golden brown. Tasty. We look forward to returning in the near future to slurp on some tasty beer while watching a game.

I can say we were all pretty disappointed in this place. The staff was the only positive that we took away from this experience. Both servers that we encountered were both kind and attentive. The drinks and food however totally missed the marks. We all started off with drinks 2 margaritas, a gin gimlet and a beer between the four of us. The margaritas were terrible, like I am not sure how they put them as a feature drink. They had zero jalapeños and also offered no spicy margarita whatsoever. My wife's gin gimlet tasted like straight up lime juice. All were complete misses. Next we moved on to the food where each couple ordered a dozen wings. The X's and O's( fries and onion rings) and we also ordered a wedge salad. The wedge salad came out and idk how it was marketed as wedge when it was a bowl of salad completely engulfed in dressing(closer to soup than salad). Next the fries and onion rings came out and I'm not usually a stickler for what things cost, but $17 for like 6 onion rings and a very sad plate of fries. We expected a bit more for what we ordered for the table. Lastly the wings. While the flavoring of the wings were good, they came out not too warm to the touch and biting into them they were cold on the inside. Concerned that we may get sick from uncooked meat they assured us that they were precooked and just dropped into the fryer to finish them off. To me it is concerning that though they were precooked and still missed on hearing them all way, you may need to have a chat with your kitchen. Both of the servers were on top of it and ran both dozens back to have our order recooked. Second time around they were hot and crispy with good flavor(although the garlic boom boom wings were missing one of the sauces the second time around). It didn't matter, we ate them and paid. Not sure we will put this on our revisit list. Maybe the burgers or flatbread were the way to go, but out of 3 menu items and even the drinks.... There needs to be much more effort to everything here...

Well I will say right off the bat if you are trying to get here by GPS it is extremely misleading…read more You can see the business from the main road but you can't turn into the parking lot there. You need to go straight through an intersection just before the brewery, turn on a dirt road and then it will take you to the parking lot. Hopefully directions have been fixed since then by somebody but if not be patient in getting there. My phones were exhausted and running on empty so alas no pictures were taken here unfortunately. We still needed some GPS navigation to get in a homebound direction. There were a lot of good looking beer options here so what we did was get a taster flight which was a wise choice. Some of the beers we had that made up that was a Key Lime Lager which was great. It tasted similar to the dessert and was easily my favorite. Alpenglow was another, also a lager that was pleasant and refreshing. We continued with the unique brews of a Nettle beer, a mango lager and the May Bee Lager. We also got an order of some of their brats from the food truck here. Those weren't too bad, perhaps not the most authentic I have ever came across but enjoyable nonetheless and pairs well with the beers that they have available here. Fun brewery to go to and one that should be stopped at if you are visiting the breweries, cideries, meaderies or wineries on Whidby Island.
