Arrogant IPA...and popcorn!
Jennifer J.

If I opened up a brewery in my backyard, it would probably be a lot like this place. A nice, casual beer garden - complete with fire pit and picnic tables. Comfy indoor seating with a fireplace for those chilly nights. A big TV for watching the game with all of my beer-loving friends. And a lot of homey touches, including free popcorn, to make everyone feel welcome. Oh, and a nice variety of beer on tap too, of course! These guys, a father and son team, took their beloved hobby and turned it into a pretty cool business. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

Bon fire starting.

Hawaiian IPA & a great bunch of people. Off the beaten path with a real casual atmosphere. What's not to like?

Just finished a road cycling ride from Granite Falls to Barlow Pass and back, we were thirsty for a cold beer, and this was the closest brewery.

Well I guess I should have read the reviews better…read more.. Clean easy to get into restaurant. However the food is just so-so. Blackened fish tacos, pretty good a little spicy and I love spice. Overall not bad. Havarti sandwich was actually fairly good, the bread however was so thick it was just a little too much. But not horrible. Now to the appetizers... I have to say just gross. The brussel sprouts were pretty much burnt. We did not eat them. The fried pickles were soggy and seeming to be full of oil. Did not eat them either. When the server came by he was like are you enjoying your food or like well we don't really like these so we're not going to eat them. He's like oh that's too bad. He was a very nice server just young and a little goofy. Overall I went there to visit with my friend so I had a great evening. But I will not be back.

The service was fast--like "your food is already here before you finish sitting down" fast. And everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly, even at the end of a long night. The prices for the amount of food you get? Unmatched. You can load the table without emptying your wallet, which is basically a post-game miracle these days. And the star of the show: the fried pickles. Crispy, salty, addictive--hands down our favorite and a must-order every single time. If you're looking for a solid late-night bite with great service and even better value after cheering on the Tips, this is the place to go.

Steve and I both had their Mosaic IPA. This is I believe one that we haven't tried from the first time and it was indeed a good IPA. With it's aromatic feature and it's hoppy flavor along with a fruity and brightly clean finish this IPA came off as a highly enjoyable one. Everett has two Scuttlebutt locations. The review I'm leaving is for their taproom but they also have a restaurant along with their beer at a separate location.

You should make a reservation when you come on the weekend. Everyone ordered a beer each except me. I asked for hot water and they brought me lots of fresh lemon slices w hot water. I was very happy with that. We ordered Ribeye stake w scuttlespuds, Lemon baked cod w wild rice, Blue moon burger w onion rings, Dockside cheese burger w sweet potato fries, Cobb salad and 1 fish fried w house salad. All the dishes were served at the same time and looked delicious and smells good. My lemon baked cod was a little light taste and wild rice was too soggy. The hamburger looked delicious, so I want to try it next time. It's a great place to get together and have a meal with great service and atmosphere.

I am so happy they stuck to bistro quality food. We ordered salmon and steak and both were cooked perfect. The chimi cajun sauce on my salmon was great. The service was amazing considering they had just lost a few staff and only two gals served the whole full restaurant including the bar drinks. No one felt they got inferior service and our service was great. Buck's has a really nice lodge bar/bistro ambience. They have good music on Thursday nights.

They've got a good selection of beer on tap, but I thought the cocktails were overpriced--nothing really stood out. I'd rather spend $16 on a craft cocktail at Colby Club. The food wasn't great. We got the calamari and it was bad--cold and honestly just bland. We also ordered the beer-battered halibut. It was okay, but a bit overcooked, and it came with fries... maybe 25 total for a 3-piece fish plate. Our bill was around $65 for two beers (with the $2 off Thursday special), the calamari, and the 3-piece halibut. Just overpriced for what it was. The place itself is cute, and they had acoustic music going, which was nice. The staff was friendly and really hustling with how busy it was. Overall, though, I didn't feel like it was worth it and probably wouldn't go back. I wish we could do .5 stars. I struggled between 2 & 3. I ended with 3 for the venue, live music (she was really good) and the awesome staff.
