I had Scuttlebutt Brewing's beer a number of years ago but it came to my attention that I had no review for the brewery so I decided that a refresher was much needed to drop a review. Steve and I both had their Mosaic IPA. This is I believe one that we haven't tried from the first time and it was indeed a good IPA. With it's aromatic feature and it's hoppy flavor along with a fruity and brightly clean finish this IPA came off as a highly enjoyable one. Everett has two Scuttlebutt locations. We came to meet friend and family altogether 6 people hereon Sunday 4pm. Located in waterfront center and parked side street but parking lots are available. You should make a reservation when you come on the weekend. Everyone ordered a beer each except me. I asked for hot water and they brought me lots of fresh lemon slices w hot water. I was very happy with that. We ordered Ribeye stake w scuttlespuds, Lemon baked cod w wild rice, Blue moon burger w onion rings, Dockside cheese burger w sweet potato fries, Cobb salad and 1 fish fried w house salad. All the dishes were served at the same time and looked delicious and smells good. My lemon baked cod was a little light taste and wild rice was too soggy. The hamburger looked delicious, so I want to try it next time. It's a great place to get together and have a meal with great service and atmosphere. read more

Ok so we love this place. Food is excellent and usually service is great but this time.... We went last night and our server was super rude. Never checked on us unless we flagged him down. I ate most of my meal but when we were done he just took my stuff not asking if I wanted a box to bring it home.. I had the dreadlnot hot chicken sandwich AMAZING!!! Super spicy but excellent!! You gotta try this one for sure!!! Anyway back my story... after taking our plates (there was three of us) he disappeared again.. all three of us had empty drink glasses (again the beer is awesome here!) next time we saw him he walked by set our bills in the table and continued to go on by! It was a little frustrating but what's worse we were ready to do some drinkin' ... not sure I'll go back anytime soon... we'll see I guess Have a great day! read more

Great location right off the pier. Great customer service. Cedar Plank Salmon. Filling, not a huge fan of the flavor. It was unique but not my for my taste buds. Grade 7/10. Overall grade 8/10 due to the customer service, great menu selection and location. read more

Scuttlebutt Taproom is not to be confused with Scuttlebutt Pub/Restaurant. Both are the same business with different locations and offerings. If you're looking for dining then you're in the wrong location. Head to the restaurant on Craftsman Way. Free parking can be found on the street. Discover is an accepted form of payment. The Taproom doesn't serve food; however on Thursday's and Friday's Los Tamaahles is set-up outside. Outdoor food is also welcome. Happy Hour (pints) is offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday's from 2pm-6pm and on Saturday from 12pm-4pm. On Thursday's pints are $2.50. Indoors is industrial with heavy hop smells. Tables are long and meant to be shared with others. The brewery side has a foosball table and a corn hole toss. Bottled/canned beer can be purchased to take home as well as growlers. On our visit my wife and I were slurping on Adam's India Pale Lager for $2.50 each (Thursday's). We also each ordered a tamale from Los Tamaahles for $5 each. Absolutely the best tamale I have ever eaten. Overall, the Taproom is loud, crowded and basic. No frills. No young children or large families. Loved it and look forward to returning. read more

I'm a fan of this place, especially the Thursday night 2.50$ pints, they used to be 2$ which was even a better deal, but who can blame them for raising the price .50 cents. I like how they describe this location as a speakeasy style taproom, it does kind of have that feel to it especially since it's hidden away in an area nobody ever goes to. Lots of neighborhood parking nearby, but only a few spots out front. This place is pretty big on the inside and I was excited to see they got more tables out on my last visit, including one in a roped off area out front so you can enjoy the sunshine. On my most recent visit I enjoyed some tasty Hoptopia. They also have root beer and cider for those non beer drinkers. Kids are welcome. There is trivia one night a week. I also had the opportunity to enjoy some delicious jackfruit tacos from Los Tamaahles who are currently there on Thursdays. Beware though this place does not have regular food service, some reviewers seem to be confusing it with the actual restaurant in a different part of Everett. Extremely loud! Food is nothing more than pub food. I ordered a cajon chicken sandwich and it so drenched in cajon seasoning it was inedible (sodium overload). They happily Replaced it with a mushroom burger which was just ok. I might give it another try when they're not slammed (dinner time). read more

Place is just plain bad. A "Hawaiian pizza" is not one piece of pineapple and one piece of Canadian bacon per slice. That's a cheese pizza. Overpriced and less than average food. Fun little dog-friendly taproom in Everett with garage doors that open up to an outdoor space, as well as the larger warehouse with extra seating, ping pong and corn hole. An extension of the popular Scuttlebutt in the Everett Marina, Scuttlebutt taproom showcases the brewery's beer with rotating taps. They always have a wide variety of beers on tap, keeping a few of their popular ones available while switching out some seasonal brews. Ciders and Scuttlebutt-made soda on tap, too. All the beers I've tried have been solid. The ambiance could be loosely termed 'PNW nautical', fitting for a brewery. As mentioned, there's an indoor space that opens up to a warehouse, and then an outdoor space - plenty of room for groups. They don't serve food (if you want that, head to their restaurant on the waterfront for some typical pub food), but that's great for me as they allow dogs in. The bartender was very friendly to my pup and asked him for a handshake, making me feel welcome with him. Since they don't serve food, you can bring your own/order delivery to the taproom. They do close early, I think at 9 p.m., so it is more of a daytime experience. One downside; they are in a weird location, set back from the Everett Public Works building - but there is a good amount of street parking available. Overall, great brewery and casual spot to get groups/friends together for some beers. read more

Been sitting at the bar for over an hour waiting for a burger that I can't even order in the temp I want. Just asked the bartender/waiter what the ETA on my burger was and he said "close." Close to what?! When they're about to close?! Not even an apology. ...so to kill time, I'm writing this review. First, no one greeted me at the hostess stand. The hostess just looked at me and walked away but was ever so eager to help another party, but I won't get into that. Then sitting at the bar, I was not acknowledged for 5 minutes. The menus were greasy and I have been sitting here now for over an hour. ...can't wait to see what the burger looks like. ...and taking a bite into my burger, I get a nice thick juicy ...hair! ...anything that can go wrong just went wrong today. This review is for the taproom. My sister in law booked what she thought was the front cozy room for our baby shower but apparently the back warehouse where they brew beer that smells like beer ingredients and was 50degrees was booked. It was a cold day outside making the warehouse even colder. We had about 20 guests and everyone was cold, no one had a good time. Although it was booked for 3 hrs, people only stayed 1-1.5 hrs because of how cold and miserable it was. I'm 8 months pregnant and was wearing a dress with open toe shoes so I was extra uncomfortable. Although we complained about the cold, nothing was done to move the party inside which could've been accommodated since no one else was there. The service was terrible. read more

I had the opportunity to visit scuttlebutt tap room on Saturday to see a band. The band was good. I wish they would've played longer for 12 bucks. the beer was great what I usually expect from scuttlebutt. The reason for three star, and I seriously thought about giving it two star, was due to the bathroom. Have you guys ever heard of a broom and a mop? I used the restroom one time and refused to go back in there. It's disgusting please clean it. read more

One of the best spots in Everett - the service and the space is awesome; they do shows n stuff sometimes, and when the tamale food cart is there this place is poppin'. Glad to see such a great place right by the train. read more

Food is always very tasty. Sure is great they don't have that chef who used to sneak hot sauces in the traditional beef entrees long ago.Stupid! I came for the Live Band Karaoke (which is so BEYOND clever for anyone who has ever dreamed about singing in a rock band), and my only complaint was that I wish it had started earlier! Great beer and a nice table outside on a perfect day made the experience top-notch. I had two appetizers (jalapeño bottle caps and can't remember the name of the other) but they hit the spot while we sipped a few brews. Make sure you research where "scuttlebutt" the word comes from like we did as it is interesting. Great place right near the water and shops to grab some food and a cold one. This is a pretty good venue for a show. Food truck food and beers. A couple things made it seem less awesome than it could be were the plasticy wrist bands we all had to wear. Why not a stamp? The plastic wristband just end up in the landfill or on the streeet. Also although the beer was tasty it come in plastic cups. At $5.50 that was definitely NOT a pint. It looked like a 12 or maybe 14 oz beer for $6. In Bellingham the beer at breweries or place like the Wild Buffalo house of music comes in glass. So come on Scuttlebutt do your part! We purchased tickets and attended a luau event that was supposed to be 21+, however had children present. There wasn't enough seating and the staff was rude when I asked where we could sit. They told us that it was a luau and we should just stand. I emailed the event coordinator (?) about the children who were present (the email was listed on the ticket website) and never got a response. Disappointed in the event. read more

We moor our boat in Everett so we shuffle between the 5 restaurants within walking distance. Unfortunately our last trip to Scuttlebutt was so bad that we are not even going back to try again. Service was terrible, food worse than terrible and our table was sticky and gross. They should start with a decent clam chowder recipe because the flour and milk bowl I got was so thick, it came out of the bowl in one chunk. No clam flavor or clams that I could find. read more
