After a long school day, I braved the drizzle and headed to Sound 2 Summit for a much-needed girls' dinner, and I'm so glad I did! I decided to sit outside even though it had been raining most of the day (big risk for the Pacific Northwest, I know), but our sweet waitress came to the rescue and offered to turn on the heater while I waited. Cozy + thoughtful = the perfect start. Now, full disclosure: breweries aren't usually my first pick since I'm not a big beer/wine/cider fan. But the food? Chef's kiss. I had the BBQ pork wrap and truffle fries, and they were both so good I'd come back just for the meal alone. I paired it with a cider (baby steps into the brewery world), and it was a solid match. The vibe is totally on point--dark wood, a little industrial, and still warm and welcoming. It was pretty quiet when I arrived, but definitely started filling up by the time we left, and you could feel the energy kick in. Perfect for a laid-back evening, a casual catch-up, or just treating yourself after a day of wrangling teens. I'll be back, next time with more fries and fewer lesson plans.

What a cute little brewery tucked away in the heart of Snohomish! I was recently passing through town and remembered I'd been wanting to check out this spot, the original Sound to Summit location (I've visited their newer Everett location before). It's a bit hidden away inside a small industrial park, but once I found it (thanks Waze!) there was plenty of parking to be had. Inside, it looked and felt like a brewery, definitely losing that industrial park vibe and instead feeling very inviting with lots of seating, warm lighting, and a friendly staff. I grabbed a pint of their Amber Ale (which I'd previously fallen in love with at their Everett location) and it was the perfect fall afternoon sip outside in their mini beer garden. I didn't have time to try any of the food here, or any of their other beers, but I would love to come back next time I'm in the area!

We went to Sound of summit with a group of 25 and they did a great job with everything. Everyone loved their food.

When I think about a Brewry a place just like this comes to mind. Dynamic and delicious beer selection. They take pride in their brew and their brew masters. Had a lively conversations w/ server Elk. Flavorful pull pork bowl. Looking forward to their 10th anniversary gathering in 2 weeks. See you there! Good music and space. open, friendly vibe.

Meh. Food sucked beer was alright. Great venue and lots of open space. Service was alright but it did take a while for us to get our food and there was only two tables there (us and the other). Maybe they were short staffed in the kitchen? The ceasar salad was dressed nicely however they gave me mostly white parts of the romaine lettuce plus lots of pieces that were clearly old. The Gouda mac and cheese was not creamy and tasted highly diluted with water. Mix it good in order to get flavor. There was more onion than bacon and it was really strange eating onions in my mac and cheese. Nothing against onions cause I love them, however it did not mesh well for me. The fries were good and the burger was flavorful and large.

So first of all...They are puppets inclusive, not just friendly. They actually have a pup menu! Beers: "Above the Clouds" and the "Phased and Confused" both hazy IPAs and Delicious! Food: Korra (pup) had zero complaints on her burger patty! I had the Truffle Bistro Burger, packs a flavor punch! I will definitely order again but will probably skip the Dijon, it made it a little salty for me. Service: the wait staff was quick, courteous, and this was a Sunday afternoon with a full parking lot!

I can say we were all pretty disappointed in this place. The staff was the only positive that we took away from this experience. Both servers that we encountered were both kind and attentive. The drinks and food however totally missed the marks. We all started off with drinks 2 margaritas, a gin gimlet and a beer between the four of us. The margaritas were terrible, like I am not sure how they put them as a feature drink. They had zero jalapeños and also offered no spicy margarita whatsoever. My wife's gin gimlet tasted like straight up lime juice. All were complete misses. Next we moved on to the food where each couple ordered a dozen wings. The X's and O's( fries and onion rings) and we also ordered a wedge salad. The wedge salad came out and idk how it was marketed as wedge when it was a bowl of salad completely engulfed in dressing(closer to soup than salad). Next the fries and onion rings came out and I'm not usually a stickler for what things cost, but $17 for like 6 onion rings and a very sad plate of fries. We expected a bit more for what we ordered for the table. Lastly the wings. While the flavoring of the wings were good, they came out not too warm to the touch and biting into them they were cold on the inside. Concerned that we may get sick from uncooked meat they assured us that they were precooked and just dropped into the fryer to finish them off. To me it is concerning that though they were precooked and still missed on hearing them all way, you may need to have a chat with your kitchen. Both of the servers were on top of it and ran both dozens back to have our order recooked. Second time around they were hot and crispy with good flavor(although the garlic boom boom wings were missing one of the sauces the second time around). It didn't matter, we ate them and paid. Not sure we will put this on our revisit list. Maybe the burgers or flatbread were the way to go, but out of 3 menu items and even the drinks.... There needs to be much more effort to everything here...

The young lady working there was very friendly, polite and had a smile. Sat outside it was nice. It's dog friendly which I like. Well I will say right off the bat if you are trying to get here by GPS it is extremely misleading…read more You can see the business from the main road but you can't turn into the parking lot there. You need to go straight through an intersection just before the brewery, turn on a dirt road and then it will take you to the parking lot. Hopefully directions have been fixed since then by somebody but if not be patient in getting there. My phones were exhausted and running on empty so alas no pictures were taken here unfortunately. We still needed some GPS navigation to get in a homebound direction. There were a lot of good looking beer options here so what we did was get a taster flight which was a wise choice. Some of the beers we had that made up that was a Key Lime Lager which was great. It tasted similar to the dessert and was easily my favorite. Alpenglow was another, also a lager that was pleasant and refreshing. We continued with the unique brews of a Nettle beer, a mango lager and the May Bee Lager. We also got an order of some of their brats from the food truck here. Those weren't too bad, perhaps not the most authentic I have ever came across but enjoyable nonetheless and pairs well with the beers that they have available here. Fun brewery to go to and one that should be stopped at if you are visiting the breweries, cideries, meaderies or wineries on Whidby Island.

I decided to check out Peace of Mind Brewing after seeing some online Yelp & IG activity (2/6/26)…read more Straightforward drive up north on 99 from Shoreline and they have their own parking lot. They are also located along the Community Transit blue line. Note: this post is only for a cafe visit. Weekdays they are open 7am to 2pm. Weekends they are open 8am to 2pm. This is a great northend alternative to cramped, corporate cafes. This indie site feels vast, spacious, decent natural light, and I really like the overhead music. Great cafe location whether you are solo, small or large groups. Plenty of room with a variety of seating configurations. While I was onsite, there were three others with laptops (yes, there's WiFi) and several got their bevs to go. The brewpub has varied hours depending on the day. Screenshot I added listed brewpub as: Monday 4-9pm Tues-Thurs 2-9pm Friday 2-10pm Saturday noon to 10pm Sunday noon to 9pm Call, check their website or social media for the latest info. The brewpub has been in operation for 2.5 years, while the cafe concept started on 11/10/25, coming up on three months. The welcoming barista (one of the owners?) mentioned her extensive espresso experience. And yes, she crafted a really good 20oz mocha. I brought my mug from home and got a discount ($6.25 vs $6.50). Regardless this is a mega bargain vs close to ten bucks with tax & tip at most Seattle cafes for a smaller 16oz volume! Nice find - next time I'll bring reading or writing gear and hang out longer. PS At the entrance, door states No Cash Accepted. Just an fyi.

Killer food truck on site daily. In long We rolled in for a late lunch and almost had the place to ourselves for a while. Big room, high ceilings, lots of hardwoods in the construction, plus bare concrete floors. It filled in with maybe 20 people after a while and you can tell it'll get loud when it's full. We checked out 3 beers, a wine, and 2 seltzers. The beers are all drinkable; the wines and seltzers are kinda average as those things go. We relaxed and listened to music and watched the Audubon channel on one of the flatscreens. Lots of regulars seemed to know each other, and the barman was always happy to see everybody. Outside there's an amazing taco truck with a huge menu. You can order from your phone and pay when you go out to get it. The website says cash only, but they're really cash preferred. They do take cards. Whew! All in all a good hangout for a fun afternoon sneaking out of the house.
