Only other con was that after we got seated we waited 30 mins to get our food. But service was really good and we could tell the cooks were busy with other tickets. We had a big party and it was a 2+ hour wait. -We hit all the restaurants and everyone told us the same thing. The owner of TLS said he could accommodate us if we split up. -My group sat at the bar. We watched the bartender, who was wearing a top hat and a vest, doing his thing. It was like watching David Copperfield and Picasso mixing drinks! Very fun. -At one point he stood at the door and announced that the bar would soon be closing, the whole place cheered and raised a glass to him. -Needless to say, the ambiance and the vibe were very, very good! -My wife had the chicken tacos and the hummus, which she said were excellent! -I had the Southwest chicken pita, and it was fresh and tasty, esp. the pita! The Mac and cheese was divine. Made fresh each order, it was just next level and pretty much perfect IMO. I'm not typically a big mac and cheese eater but if it were like this I'd eat it far more often. The pulled pork sammy was delicious as well - the women helping us suggested getting the slaw and pickles on the side so the bun wouldn't be soggy when I got to where I was going. That was a great recommendation and it helped my pulled pork experience be that much better. The hot dog was nearly like a brat in texture while definitely tasting like a hot dog. It was also next level like the Mac and cheese and yes I'd eat more of these too if they tasted like that! I live just over in Seattle but I might be coming over more often now that I know about The Barnyard!

I ordered extra crisp bacon and eggs with a Cama Cafe-made biscuit. I'm very particular about my biscuits (raised in the south) and was also very pleased.
