Halloween 2024 Fun night seeing all the costumes of kids through town. Great menu. Great cocktails. Really fun atmosphere. Can see why this place had high ratings. Checked yelp to see what was good around us as we stayed in an Air BnB. Will be back

We had been meaning to check out Spyhop for quite some time and we finally made it in for lunch on a Saturday. It was 1pm and we were seated right away. The beer list is a great mix of local brews and the menu has something for everyone. They have a kids menu as well (paper with crayons). My husband loved his burger and my wrap was full of flavor! The fries are crispy and perfectly salted. We will be back! Pros Excellent fries Good local beer selections Cons None!

We were in town Friday night and were looking for a place to eat dinner. We tried going to go to Saltwater but they had a sign on their door saying they were not taking anymore ppl for the night. Then we tried Prima Bistro next door, but they told us the wait for going to be 1.5 hours. This was Friday night around 5:30 PM. None of us wanted to wait, so i came across Spyhop and we decided to walk over and see if they had a wait, and they didn't! It all worked out great too, because we had our dog and were able to eat outside with our dog, so outdoor seating here is dog friendly! We ordered: - fried pickles - fish and chips x3 - wrap with fries They had some good pub food options. The fried pickles were just ok to me, their fish and chips were pretty good, and comes with 3 pieces of fish. We had good service too. Overall, we were glad we came here for dinner and didn't have a wait for a table!

I love family vibes and this restaurant exudes family and friend love. The menu has home made items and one of the items we loved with our fries, mozzarella sticks and fried pickles is their RANCH dressing. Yummy! Parking is easy. They open at 4pm. Open bar with local brewed beer - loved the pale ale. We ordered their Cesar salad, chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, fries, and fried pickles. Everything was so yummy! Full bar too!

In the small sea side town of Langley there are cute shops and walkable streets. Our group of five were passing through and did not make reservations at this obvious local favorite restaurant. This place was very busy, we had to wait for 30 mins. Bring a jacket, you'll probably be waiting outside if the bar is full. The communication and customer service was helpful and nice. The food was great, not a huge menu. Lots of classic sandwich and burger choices. I had the black bean burger, full of flavor with sweet potato fries. I would order this again. The drink menu looked fun but wasn't in the mood for liquor this time. Just an ice tea. This is definitely the go to place for tourists an locals alike.

Absolutely delicious burgers and incredible service.

This past Sunday I was visiting Langley for the first time and hoping to find a restaurant with outdoor seating because it was a gorgeous sunny day and I was with my dog, my kiddos and a local friend. We got to Spyhop too late to get a table, it was almost 3 pm, but they were gracious enough to take a to go order and we decided to grab it and eat on a nice grassy area that's right next to the restaurant. The cherry on top was the fact that they have cocktails to go and they were soooo good! We ended up ordering a second round. The bartender knew we were seating outside the restaurant and he brought us out drinks there before we went into the restaurant to get them. WHAT? That's was wayyy nice! Specially considering they were closing. Oh and the burgers were FANTASTIC!!! I super highly recommend this place. Will be back for sure!

My friends and I were starving after a long car, so we got takeout from here. Spyhop definitely hit the spot! We all got wraps and everybody was satisfied. They were tasty and super filling.

Fun place to stop in Langley for pub grub. Consistent flavors. We've added this place to the rotation. Yummy cocktails too.

Came here with my husband on a rare date night. I was REALLY excited about this place. The menu had…read morea lot of our favorite dishes. For starters, we ordered the artisan bread, a dozen oysters, and the beet salad. As someone who bakes and sells my own artisan sourdough, I was underwhelmed by the bread. I liked the touch of truffle they add to it but it needed salt. And it also needed to be on the table well before the 35 minutes we waited for it. The oysters were also not very memorable. I can't remember what one of the varieties was, but they were brinier than I care for but that's just a personal preference. The kumamotos were the TINIEST oysters I've ever seen. I've eaten my share of kumamotos and I know Japanese oysters are generally smaller and sweeter than other varieties (which is why they're my favorite) , but I'm not exaggerating when I say they were the size of quarter. I also didn't like the frozen mignonette they served as an accoutrement. It didn't seem frozen--it spread like jam. It didn't really taste like vinegar or shallot like mignonette should. It was just not very good. The beet salad was EXCELLENT. The chèvre was generous, the bitter micro greens tasted great with the beets and chèvre. It was well seasoned. We devoured it. For entrees, I had the dayboat scallops and my husband had the duck leg. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the leek risotto was very tasty. I'm not really sure what I was supposed to do with the pickled lemon on my plate. I tried to eat a small piece with the other elements and it was so overpowering that I left the rest on my plate. Now let's talk about the protein--my $52 scallop dish came with THREE scallops. Not even whole scallops as I'm pretty sure they were cut in half to cook more evenly. Three small 1/2 scallops and two cubes of pork belly. For Fifty-two dollars. My husband enjoyed the duck, but again, the portions were disappointing. $230 later, we ended up going through a drive through because we were still hungry. Unlikely we'd return after such an expensive meal left us so unsatisfied.
