I've been hearing about this sweet little off-the-beaten-path for years, and finally made time to visit with a friend a couple of months ago. Now, it's become a regular haunt when it's a nice day and I'm in the mood for some good pub food, a tasty cool beer and, oh, an impeccable view over a picturesque Skagit field towards towering Mt. Baker. This place is just about perfect! The food here ranges from pub favorites like wings and burgers, to fresh oyster shooters, to tacos, salads, and some delish house-smoked barbeque. They're also known for Friday prime rib nights, which I haven't enjoyed yet but it's on my list. The service here is super friendly. I've been three times this summer and one of the bartenders already recognizes me! It can be a little slow getting served on busy nights, so I recommend ordering as soon as you can if you're hungry. Otherwise, just settle back with your beer from their amazing taplist (or a cocktail from their full bar), enjoy the view from their vast outdoor patio, and take it all in before the rainy season returns. read more

This bar is a hidden gem in Bow, WA. I love that it's located in the middle of a more rural area amongst farms and fields, with makes for a great drive. The food is solid. I got a chicken sandwich with hot honey and I now have a hankering for more hot honey on my sammy's. They have a really good beer selection and make a lot of their cocktails with their homemade mixes. The only thing where I'm knocking a star off is their mixed drinks are expensive relative to their small portion sizes. Next time I'll just stick to beer. The service is also very good with the bartender being very attentive. She's the one who recommended the hot sandwich and was absolutely correct! read more

Went for lunch. My salad was very fresh made not from a bag ,delicious. The clam chowder was wonderful no sand. There was a group of eight of us. We all had something different. Lots of smoked meat options and definitely stunner combos. Skagit dip brisket sammy was great. Brisket or pulled pork Mac & Cheese also had big positives on the table. Onion rings some of the best I've had. Deep fried oyster appetizer was a little too much breading as I like everything oysterness....although it was extremely crispy and good tasting. Met with a group around 4 o'clock and did not realize on Fridays. They do a smoked prime rib. Going to have to come back for that as it was definitely a local favorite with people obviously showing up to get it. Prices were very good for the portions, --especially in this area. read more

I'm already planning my next trip back. Came for lunch on Friday at 11:45 and only a few people at the bar and a couple other tables with people so it was a perfect first experience here for us. The server was so friendly and helpful with the menu and even offered suggestions. We got the spicy chicken sandwich which is exactly as it sounds. There were so many jalapeños on this sandwich but it was great! The bacon was crispy and the chicken was so tender and juicy. The chicken wrap with chipotle aioli was perfect. It was refreshing and helped cool down our mouth. The fries are my absolute favorite style and they were cooked perfectly! Definitely opt to upgrade them to the parmesan garlic! Our friend brought us here for breakfast and it was pretty legit, high five to the chef. The bacon was cooked extra crispy and the sausage gravy was excellent. I got the biscuits and gravy deconstructed, giving me a chance to enjoy the toasted biscuit. Btw, they make their own bloody mary mix which is good. read more

This place is out in the middle of nowhere which is great! When we entered, we sat for a while... service was a bit slow. Bartender was chatting with one of the locals. I believe once the chat got over. She attended to us promptly. We were served food fairly fast and the meal was very good, beer was good too. I would come back when in the area. read more

My husband and I stopped by with our two year old granddaughter last night. We had a great evening. The food was delicious. He got the smoked brisket dip and I had the salmon sandwich. We shared the yummy fried oyster starter. The clam chowder was unbelievably great...best I have had (and I love chowder). The draft beer selection was great. The ambience was nice. The food was decent for pub food. Fries were a tad salty, but my Reuben sandwich was good. definitely good sized portions. Our server was not very helpful or polite when we asked a few simple questions, and maybe it had something to do with the fact we had kids, but we weren't super impressed with that. I'm leaving this review since we did go to the Corner Pub. We were there long enough to find out they didn't have the THREE items I tried to order off their menu. It was the first day of the week for them to be open. The interior is clean and well lit at least. I don't have anything to say about the food since they didn't have anything available I wanted. Mrs Billy D likes the pub so I'll leave it to her to patronize this place with her riding buddies. The Longhorn and Edison Inn are just down the road and both at least have their menu items available. I'll go there instead. The three stars are only because I don't want to one star it without trying any food. read more

What a remarkable little pub! Located right off the street with hardly any signage it's easy to miss. But I would be willing to bet this is a local favorite. I indulged in a bowl of clam chowder ($9.00) and and a house burger ($13.00) with cheese (+$1.50). There were plenty of clams in the chowder and it was made thick. Served just hot enough I didn't have to wait for it to cool but still amazingly delicious. The burger was da bomb. Fresh, juicy 1/2 pound of certified angus ground chuck engulfed in onion, lettuce, tomato and onion with a generously thick slice of cheddar that beautifully enveloped the meat. I might be in love with this burger. The fries were perfectly seasoned and there were plenty! It was so delicious. The whole meal was awesome! Overall this is a great place for a quick bite and reasonable prices. I'll stop in again when I'm in the area! read more

The Corner Pub tucked away in the farmland is a gem!! Stopped there and had lunch the Saturday before the Oyster Run. We sat outside in the spacious beer garden. Food was good and fresh. I so wanted to give this place a 5-star review. Let me say the staff is top-notch. They are a credit to the owners. We ordered the Cajun wings, which were the best we have ever had. Food came out a little slow, but it happens. As for our entree, my husband got the rueben sandwich with fries. He loved it. Sadly, I can't say that about my entree, which was the fish and chips. The fries were great, cole slaw lacked flavor, and the fish was mainly batter, which was way over fried. I definitely would come back and try something else. Beautiful views. read more

Just came home having enjoyed a delicious meal. Skagit Dip with smoked brisket. The Brisket was unbelievably tender, and the caramelized onions were actually caramelized (so many other places advertise caramelized onion and it's sautéed- this is the real deal. ) My husband got the fish and chips, he cleaned his plate. There was a generous portion of slaw that was delicious and fresh (a pet peeve of mine is wilted old slaw). Staff was very friendly and took good care of us. Can't wait to go back! read more

As of October 2022, prices here are honestly in-line with most other restaurants. Corner Pub has an amazing pub-like atmosphere...but is definitely rural. It's a gem among the fields. Been coming here for about 4 years. They did what they could to survive during COVID and I'm happy to see them continue! Food is mostly made from scratch (or so it seems) and is generally all fantastic. They do great smoked meats. I wish the salt and pepper riblets were a regular item (they used to be!) Always lots of good sauces. Always a good beer selection. Always good servers. Be patient with them! Food industry needs help these days, so please don't take it out on the good ones - like at Corner Pub! read more

It pains me to write this review because we really enjoyed them a few years ago. But damn, they either got bad new management or quit trying. We use to love their crispy fish tacos, fish n chips, drink specials, pickled eggs, and house potato chips.. but our visits in the last year have truly sucked. Costco has better frozen breaded cod than their 2 piece.... Especially cus it's $19! It's bad now, the breading falls off the flavorless white fish. We've given them the benefit of the doubt, but three times in a row it was awful. We sent it back the last time. A 5oz "old fashion" cost $17.... We've been to upscale craft cocktail bars and they don't cost that much. the pickled eggs are fun but they almost doubled in cost in the last year. (I understand inflation) but to go from $1.75 to $3 for a single egg.. I donno, seems like a big jump. Just a bummer. read more

This place "is what it is"! Rustic, fun, delicious, chill! It doesn't hurt that it's down the road from my house but it's seriously great! Great whiskey selection along with a completely full bar and rotating beer list. The Reuben is top notch and if you want to be completely blown away, order the buffalo chicken sandwich without reading the menu description (as I did). It will blow you away.
