We visited on a very rainy day in December. This was a welcome haven from the cold and rain. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We ordered cider and beer and they were very tasty. We also got a margarita pizza and beet salad. Both were great and plenty for two to share as a lunch. The beet salad was especially good since it had apples and hazelnuts. It was a really cool take on a classic. The space is inviting and comfortable. There are tall tables and larger tables in the back. Apparently there is also a speakeasy in the back. We came across this place online on a Sunday afternoon when we were in the area so we decided to check it out. The ordering system was a little confusing as you needed to choose a table before standing in line to order but it didn't look like that was what was happening. The service was a little slow and there were quite a few flies so we ended up moving to an outside table after we got out drinks and pizza. The beer and cider flight was fun to try out different menu items. Our favorite, which we ended up buying a pack to bring home, was the Harvest - Blueberry & Raspberry Semi-Dry Cider. We love a good local and tasty cider. We also got a Margherita pizza which was delicious. It didn't look that exciting but the taste was great! A unicorn brewpub and distillery in an amazing little storybook town, serving up finely crafted beers and spirits with interesting flavor profiles, in an industrial, crafty, bootstrappy environment. Know that's not a word. Rolling with it anyway! The service is no-nonsense and friendly, and they are very proud of their product. The pizzas are thin-crusted, light and flavorful, the specials are creative, and generally complement the beers here well. The salads are well-dressed and shareable. What's not to like? The real kicker, though, is their Speakeasy, a bar on the side of the main restaurant only open certain days after 4:00. It's a modernist industrial mad-scientist-lab-meets-midcentury lounge experience, with a creative cocktail menu and always a surprise or two - IF you can catch them open (and not packed to the gills). Of course I recommend them. Sooo recommend them. Quit gawking at the birds and dodging farm equipment on the local roads, and get your fanny in here. The first time I came here I was treated to a new word I didn't know I needed in my life: Brewstillery. I first had Terramar's beer when I acquired some from the packmule.beer site. I knew about Edison because of Breadfarm, but hadn't been back in a number of years. I really do love the casual ambiance of the place. The layout and seating are great. (Though I'd love to know when the quiet times are. XD It was fairly busy the last couple of times I've gone.) The people are super nice, and even when busy the service is great. The beer is great. Margherita pizza was a little salty for our tastes but otherwise good. Husband had a Throwback Old Fashioned that was an interesting take on an old fashioned but not to his liking so much due to some odd alternative spirits used. We went to the speakeasy side but discovered that it's not a true speakeasy. It's just a bar with old timey decor to the side of the main room. While visiting Larrabee state park we started to get hungry and felt like pizza. I checked Yelp for options and found this restaurant in a place called Edison, which is basically a one street town in the middle of nowhere. So, off we went. The restaurant has a private lot but it is not huge. We did street parking which was easy to find. The ambiance is a laid back, casual hippy-cool. You pick up menus, you go select a table (inside or outside), which are numbered, and then come back to order. We sat outside on a gorgeous summer day. The food comes out all at once. I had the smoked salmon dip and it was outstanding. Nice smoke flavor in the background and lots of salmon. You spread it on flatbread which obviously comes from the pizza dough. The wife had the mixed green spring salad and loved it. For pizzas, the kid had the pepperoni, which are large discs. The pepperoni were not spicy so she liked them. The wife and I had the Average Joe which was nothing short of excellent. It's basically a supreme with everything: pepperoni, sausage, bacon, fresh jalapeño (not seeded), onion, and maybe something else I am forgetting. What makes the pie so great is the freshness of the ingredients. The crust is also outstanding. The menu says the flour is milled locally and the dough sits for three days before using. Whatever they are doing, it was an outstanding pizza, one of the best I ever had. There are beers and ciders on tap.I drank the Icy IPA and it was a perfect pairing. The kid had apple cider which tasted fresh-squeezed, and the wife had an IPA that I forget the name but had lots of fruit flavors and she loved it. At the end, you bus your own table. In general, all the employees were friendly and seemed happy to be working there This place is a ways away from Bellingham but worth the drive. You won't be sorry. read more

I'm not sure this pizza worked as well as I'd imagine- the crust was pretty burnt in places, and quite chewy. My friend who loves making pizzas suspected the dough was over worked. The dates were rough chopped into large pieces, so bites alternates between really bitter arugula, and then extremely sweet and chewy dates. Chopping the dates finer and maybe doing a quick seasoning/oil rub on the arugula would've helped. Overall, it lacks balanced flavor, it didn't quite meld well together. The pizzas aren't that big, and are pretty pricey for the result. - For the veg/vegans: There's around 3 options- cheese, margarita, and the first date pizza (arugula, apple, dates). Thankfully vegan Daiya mozzarella is an option! Although I did miss the more nuanced flavors Miyoko has. read more

Hello friends! Just want to give you a heads up. If you have not gone to Terramar you're missing out!! They have delicious and original food, great beers and great friendly service. This is easily one our most favorite spots north of us. We go here for lunch often. Since the speak easy opened, it is like 2 completely different experiences even though they are connected. You can get whatever is on the menu at both places. It is very chill and relaxing, there is outside seating and kids can go in the brewery and outside. They are also pet friendly. Terramar is a great brewery, a very good distillery and a perfectly acceptable pizza place. They have two indoor spaces. The brewery section with rustic table and lots of taps. And then the speakeasy where you can get cocktails as well. Each of these also have outdoor spaces in the back when the weather is nice. The only reason that I don't give 5 stars is that occasionally the service is bordering between inattentive and brusque. And then possibly that the pizzas are on the expensive side. But none of that has prevented me from returning, so I would still recommend Terramar. read more

Cool place, great beer, great pizza. The atmosphere is creative and fun. Order at the bar and find a table. The staff is very friendly! They have a very creative and delicious selection of house beers along with their own whiskey and vodka. We tried the kale Caesar salad and it was amazing. The kale was tender and the dressing was bright with lemon, parmigiana cheese and a mayo base and covered with croutons that I'm sure were made here. It was delicious! The Average Joe pizza was terrific too. It has a strong tomato sauce that was very flavorful. It was very meaty with pepperoni, spicy sausage, and bacon. The red pickled peppers were a nice spicy touch although I could do without the red onions. The crust is thin and chewy and perfect! My review is not based on the food or drink. The service was horrible. We ordered three pizza, 7 drinks, and an appetizer. You pay when you order, we gave a 20% tip which I fully regret. We were handed tiny paper plates when we ordered and we were given our drinks to take with us to our table. When the food was delivered we asked for napkins and were told very curtly "they are around the corner" as if we should know that and it was rude of us to ask for a napkin! Other than dropping the food off at the table they did absolutely nothing for us aside from making us feel like we were a bother. The restaurant wasn't super busy and even if it had been treating your customers like shit is a great way to get them to not return. To be fair, the good things about this place were 1) they will let you bring in your dog (we didn't have a dog with us) and 2) the food is decent, but they change their menu frequently so, unfortunately, if you find a pizza you really like it may not be offered the next time you come. I'm not a fan of being treated like I'm a bother so it's going to likely be a really long time before I visit this place again and if I do I will not be deciding on the tip until after my meal. read more

I really want to enjoy this place but unfortunately the first time I tried this place I was left disappointed. What soured my experience was the cashier/bartender with a beard in a seafoam green shirt on Friday July 11th 2025. I was walking to the bathroom and I overheard this man say to his other employee buddy under his breath "look at this douchebag." I heard that and turned my head to them and we all made eye contact. I was the only person in the vicinity of the bar at the time, so I know they were talking about me. I didn't do anything to deserve that as I was plenty polite when ordering my food with this same man earlier. Not sure why an employee would ever say that about a customer within earshot - and I don't even have exceptional hearing ability. I do hope they don't treat all customers this way. Unprofessional behavior in my opinion. I also got a Caesar salad that was pretty good, but found a red and black bug deep inside it. I really don't want to leave such a scathing review, but future customers please beware of how the employees may treat you. Giving it two stars because of the objectively nice views and delicious root beer the place provides. read more

It's great to have dining options in small towns. Especially options that are family friendly. Pizza is a good that most people seem to like. Sort of a universal. And now we're learning that cheese has an addictive quality, so go figure. Their addition of the speakeasy is a fun space with their twist on the old standards. I haven't tried any of their distillery offerings yet, but I have tried a number of their non-IPA beers are enjoy most of those. It's definitely a Community space. It can be a challenge for small rural businesses to keep on keeping on needing tourist dollars and local staff to thrive. Come check them out. read more

Some of the best spirits I've ever had. The mixed drink menu is extensive and full of wonderful flavors. Niw, I've had pizza from all around the world. This pizza is one of the best I've ever had. This place is one of the nicer breweries in the valley. It has the main bar which has the big metal spikes hanging from the ceiling showing the buildings history as a slaughterhouse. Out the door from there you have the speakeasy which has their distilled spirits and house wines. We started here and got a bottle. It was $20 for the bottle which is a bargain since it would be $10 by the glass. I had a pilsner that was amazing. One of the better local pils I've had. We ordered the smoked salmon dip which did not disappoint and didn't even last long enough for a photo! The margherita pizza was not what you could label traditional, but it was very good and well executed with fresh tasting ingredients. This place is a solid choice if you find yourself in Edison. I've been hearing about how everyone should check out Bow-Edison for their amazing food for awhile now, but I never get out to this area. After a hike in the area we finally made the trek to get our stamp on the Skagit Farm to Pint trail. We love breweries and are very intrigued by ones that include distilleries as well. I love that this place calls itself a brewstillery. We opted for this location to enjoy lunch, mostly based on the fact that they labeled some vegan options on their menu. Its quite spacious with lots of indoor and outdoor seating options available, some of which appeared to have fire ability for the nighttime or those colder months. The speakeasy was not open when we arrived, but that increases the seating options even more. Everyone orders when they walk in and then finds a seat. My partner and I found it endearing that they walk around and shout names rather than giving out a number or something to find the orderer. The decor and wall information kept my eyes busy (seems there used to be a Russian Mafia chop shop somewhere around here). I enjoyed the Samish Bay IPA and No Hop left Behind (which donates a 1$ to Veterans Farms), my partner liked his Dubbelee. Beer is tasty, prices are high. We each got a pizza. My Twin Leeks was quite unique, I opted to not get mushrooms on it. I worried when it arrived as I had already forgotten that the base was leeks and fretted that it might be straight garlic. My partner had the First Date and I was thankful to see it came with a healthy serving of arugula on top. What I could not stop raving about though was the Giardiniera, it's just a bunch of pickled veggies, not spicy at all (though advertised this way), but so delicious. I debated a 2nd serving and seriously looked to see if this was being sold canned or anything like that. I told my partner I want to come back for that specifically. Amazing food!! The pizzas are amazing. My favorites include the Margarita and the Pulled Pork Pizza. You can taste the quality ingredients, including their in-house sourdough crust! Come on! Their speakeasy looks super cool but we are most happy with the outdoor casual dining. There is plenty of indoor dining space too. Super friendly staff. You can tell these people like their jobs. Solidly ok. Not anything to write home about, but it's a cute area and it was a nice place to sit after a day of traipsing through the tulips. We had two beers, two root beers, three pizzas, and baba ganoush. Don't be surprised, it's not the cheapest place on the block, since all of that came to $110. But the pizza was decent and the baba ganoush was fine. The beers....well, we did an experimental thing, where two pale ales were brewed exactly the same, just with different hops. While it was a fun thing to try, the beers themselves didn't blow me away. The pizza had some funky combos, and my meat one was definitely the best of the three, though not the best I've ever had. I've never seen a margherita with cherry tomatoes, and that was probably the least good one. The First Date was interesting, but we should have added some protein. Again, it was a fine go-to after walking miles in the fields. They have really cute branding and good to-go options. Parking was fine (we were on the street a block or two up) but it was also a Friday and we were playing hooky. It's not something I'd make it a point to go to again, but if I were in the area it would not be the worst choice to make. read more

We were a fairly big part so we had to jimmy rig a table to accommodate but it was well worth it. The service was stellar and very tentative. The drinks were amazing and the offerings were plenty!! Ordered a classic whiskey sour w/ a touch of there apple pear spiced spirit from a super skilled mixologist, hands down literally the best whiskey sour I've ever had and I've been in the industry for well over 10 years and have a bunch of product knowledge, etc. The best. Very well balanced, nice depth and complexity to such a beautifully well done cocktail. This was an incredible place to visit while we were in the area! Their address of Edison/Bow seems to be barely a smudge on the map, but it was well worth the visit. When we entered we were immediately greeted with a wide array of our options. They have multiple bartops, one of which is a full bar, and some really fun food options. We didn't end up getting food during our stop, but our friends did, and the pizzas looked great. We had a few of the beer options, and they were delicious. I especially enjoyed trying the tripple. It's a very laid-back establishment with large, open spaces and is welcoming to families. It's a great visit whenever you are in the area. read more

I stopped here after hiking Oyster Dome to grab a drink and was generally pleased with the place. It was a little hard to find because GPS thought it was located somewhere else and the streets are a little confusing if you're not familiar. However, when we found it, there was plenty of parking which is always a good thing. Upon entry, there is a touch less hand sanitizer station and single use menus and all employees are wearing masks. You order at the counter, grab your drinks at the bar and then any food is brought to you. The interior of the restaurant is pretty open and allows for social distancing, but the patio is pretty limited. If you're looking for outdoor seating (which we were), you may end up sitting a little closer to other patrons than you might want to. I can't comment on the food since I didn't eat here, but I saw other people eating pizzas that looked delicious. Pricing is reasonable and they have a good variety of beers and ciders. read more
