The Veni Vidi Vici Italian Pilsner!
    Alden C.

Larrabee Lager is a newer brewery that opened up in Bellingham since my last visit there. I enjoyed their beers quite a bit as we tried several different ones and thought that they were all solid. We went to several breweries while visiting Bellingham and this one was one of the busiest. You wouldn't know that the craft beer industry is shrinking right now on the day we went. Lots of families here getting food, primarily pizza. There is a nice corner for kids as this is a family friendly brewery and restaurant. The kids definitely were amusing to watch as some fruit juice spilled on the play table and they all ran for paper towels to clean up the mess. Talk about discipline and we'll behaved! But anyway onto one what we came for and the purpose of the review... the beer part of the review! The beer that I had was an Italian Pilsner by the name of Veni Vidi Vici. This was my beer of choice while enjoying and unwinding there. Flavor characteristics with this beer are a little biscuity and with clean and crisp features as well. The beer is light bodied also which is something I can always appreciate. But Steve and I had a few other beers as well that we brought home. One was the Original Lager Helles. Again, another lighter beer which was great. Flavor features with this beer are hoppy, bitter, clean and very easy to have more than one of. The White Duck Hefeweizen was another beer we had. Hefeweizens can be a tricky lot as sometimes the banana flavor or the clove flavor which is typical for this beer can be too heavy handed in one of those main flavors. But that wasn't the case with this Hefe as it was very well balanced in everything and proved to be a very good Hefeweizen. Flavors to find with this beer are banana, clove, coriander, wheat and a slight mustiness which is purposeful. The last of the beers we had was the Scenic Byway Cold IPA. This is a good Cold IPA and is a type of IPA that I have yet to get tired of. Flavor highlights with this beer are hoppy, piney, malty, well balanced and a little bit warming. So this was a good series of beers to try and feel like it was a very well rounded beer drinking experience!

Ok ok ok, I know this is a brewery but their pizza is seriously next level. I hadn't even planned on eating there when I went. I just went by for the makers market and to have a beer. But the smell of the pizza that filled the room made it too hard to resist, and I'm glad I didn't. Larrabee is a family run business and they are killing it. Everyone is super friendly and make this brewery more than a place for great beer, it is a place you want to hang with friends or even just chill.

Visiting the area and really was hoping it would be a great spot but was disappointed on many levels. We went because they said their patio was dog friendly and we have our toddler with us. Upon arrival we noticed the door said something like "service animals only" but I had called and they said dogs were allowed on the patio and we didn't see another door so walked in. Someone quickly came and told us no dogs inside so we asked how to get to the patio and they said we had to walk around the building. A suggestion would be to have a sign on the door that says "dog friendly patio" with an arrow, otherwise people don't know where to go and feel bad for taking as few steps inside with their pet when trying to get to the patio. The "patio" was an outside area on grass that had a fence but then an opening (where a gate could go) that was only a few steps away from the busy street. We always follow our toddler around anyways but it felt extra scary to have her so close to cars. A gate there would probably make many parent guests feel a lot more relaxed. I appreciated they had a vegan pizza option but like many other reviewers on yelp shared the crust was burnt and not tasty at all. My husband didn't Ike his pizza either. The server wasn't very friendly or helpful. Just overall felt stressful because of the busy road, seeming like we were a bother and because the food and beer wasn't worth the $80 it all cost.

Love this spot for a beer and pizza. They do live music some days as well, and yoga on Sunday mornings .

For being on the open for six weeks, this place is already doing an outstanding job! The way that we were greeted, makes me wonder if I met the owner or not. It doesn't actually matter because it was a fantastic experience. They have turned this old school restaurant into a very clean cut brewery with massive seating, even the outdoor seating, if weather permits. Great beer selection and I really do like their beers. I am not a huge fan of busing my own table, but I get it with today's lack of workforce... Their pizza is really good. A little on the pricey side for the size that you get, but it is a really good

Just what the neighborhood needed - a serious brewpub with very good beer, simple and delicious food offerings and a family-friendly space to jaw and sip with those you gather with. Check them out, support your locals! Get your Gimli on with a giant mug of beer! Highly recommended! Cheers...

Don't let this unsuspecting brewery @ the end of a strip mall fool you. This was some of the best beers we had on our weeklong Bellingham Beercation and co-owner Kate being our beertender just made it that much more enjoyable. We stopped in on Wednesday 25 September for a beer while we chatted up Kate our entire visit. It was so delicious and enjoyable that it was our final stop on Thursday, err our last Bellingham brewery stop to finish off our Beercation. The same fellow that was behind the bar when we tabbed out Wednesday was our beertender Thursday. As we were finishing our beers Kate arrived as we heard "hey you're back!" Neither day did we meet her husband, brewer/co-owner but he does his job well, his recipes are dialed in! The tap room is spacious and spaced out, filled w picnic tables and bar stools at the bar and a room past the bar. Parking is easy in the strip mall lot. The "walls" are my favorite... floor to ceiling windows. We didn't eat either day so I can't speak to the pizza. I like their expansive collection of beer cans on the wall across from he bar. Both days my mom ppted for the refreshing Coast City Kolsch. I had the kolsch on Thursday as I wanted something light. On Wednesday I went big w a litre of the Oktoberfest. Both beers were delicious and well balanced. Larrabee is brewing up goodness... considering Kate said they just opened in August! Cheers Kate and Larrabee, thanks for the great conversation and the delicious beers in such a comfortable venture!

Friendly staff, easy to find and a large parking lot. Great open spacious feeling and has a few play spots for children. Good selection of quality beer (i forgot to get pictures of the beer. Whoops) and a smaller selection of food. We got a pretzel with beer cheese dip and a Margherita pizza. The pizza tasted like it was made with quality ingredients and it was cooked to perfect. The pretzel and beer dip was okay nothing special however the mustard with it was very tasty. I can't remember the lager we got but it was good.

This is a big open beer hall. I first had their beer at Winter Brew Fest in Seattle and they had a Cold IPA that I loved. Normally I like hoppier and fuller IPA and don't venture down the cold route, but it is nice to put on a scarf, hat and gloves. I had the pretzel and it is salted well, heavy rocks that are offset by the soft delicious pretzel. The beer cheese dip made me only dip in the stone ground mustard one time. I sat at the bar and chatted with the friendly staff and patrons that came in. I had a sampler of the Gose, Dunkle Lager, Dopplebock, Cold IPA and BIg Duck Energy (double cold IPA). They were all great. The brewer is obviously an expert. The brews were all fantastic and well made. The bar is expansive like the beer hall. The taps are classic looking and the kitchen is up front and working. You can see the brewery behind and the kids area is great. Bring your big groups, bring your family, hang at the bar with the awesome staff. I'll be back, as I saw many salads ordered and patrons getting delicious looking pizzas. I need more time in Bellingham to come here more often.

What a great brewery! The beer is awesome with lots of choices and the food outstanding with vegetarian options in both salads and pizza. They really thought about everything, creating space for even the youngest in the family with an area for them to have fun. Great new brewery! Don't miss out.

REALLY Good pizza and beer. We had a fun date night out and enjoyed the atmosphere. Music started towards the end of our hangout and enjoyed that too. We will be back!

The outdoor patio is sprawling with space! Tons of outdoor seating and quite a bit inside as well (for the rainy days I suppose!) Although every time I have visited (sunny days!) there were people sitting inside and I am not sure why anyone would choose to sit inside on a beautiful day!! I digress. The annoying thing about the patio, the music was on what felt like, volume level 7 out of 10. It was blaring. I could not hear my friend speaking to me across the table. While I totally dug the music selection, it was way too loud to have a conversation. The speakers are on like every other post so there was no getting away from it. At one point I did ask them if they could turn it down a few notches. (I apologized and said "with risk of sounding like a Karen or an old lady, but it is so loud and I cannot hear across the table). She laughed said no problem and she could turn it down a little. (Funny inside it was like on volume level 4, but outside it was blasting!) The beer is decent, also about 3.5/5. For me the star of the show is the location and the view. The food truck out front the last time we went (January 2026) was Indian fare. It was honestly terrible. Looked like cat food (how fitting). Probably had a total of 3 pieces of chicken in my tikka masala. I would recommend avoiding that truck entirely. It was a thumbs down for all 4 people in our group.

Especially considering, at the time, there weren't all that many food trucks around. Well, I was wrong. Kulshan concentrated on making good beer, and serving it up with a friendly smile in their warm, inviting little space. Food trucks have come and gone over the years, but the beer has remained consistently amazing, the staff welcoming, and the space is almost exactly the same (with a couple of minor mods, including removing the dart board many moons ago).
