We were looking for a place that was kid friendly to have lunch with our granddaughter and found…read morethe rusty wagon. So happy we did! A local favorite, a little bit off the beaten path, but worse looking for it. Very friendly and timely service, really good food, and a great menu that everybody will find something on that they like. If you're vegan, that last comment may be inaccurate ;-). You gotta try the milkshakes, this reminds me of what I was used to growing up at some of the great family restaurants in the 1970s. Outstanding! The interior of the restaurant is decorated with an eclectic Western theme and your eyes will never get tired of looking for all the details. Our granddaughter loved it! And so did the grandparents and my dad. We'll be back.

It turned out as we expected, but we optimistically hoped for more…read more I had the prime rib, which I had been craving. It was okay, but not something I'd order again. The horse radish was pretty generic and didn't have any "punch" to it. The Caesar salad lettuce was a bit wilted and too much dressing. The loaded baked potato was okay. My son enjoyed his clam chowder. The pot pie was rather small for $20! It was not enjoyed. Unfortunately, a frozen Marie Calendars is better. Two people ordered this and didn't eat them all. Salad bar is pretty underwhelming. The star here is the peanut butter chocolate shake! Yum! Service was attentive and friendly. Parking: Quite a few spots that go all the way around the building, but was a bit full on a Friday night.

The hostess greats you at the door with smiling eyes and kind words. She welcomes you into a beautiful quiet dining area and introduces you to the owner of the fine dining establishment. As you look at your wife you see her heart is filled with joy in just the few moments it took to walk to your seat. The hostess ask you right away "what would you like to drink this evening?" and takes your drink order with a smile. As she returns with you beverages she gracefully asks if you've had time to decide what you'd like for dinner. When the main course arrives and you've taken your first two bites you realize...the culinary professionals have absolutely captured the tastefulness of the Pacific Northwests cuisine. Your tastebuds dance with joy as wonder burst of flavors erupt on palate. You once again turn your attention to your wife as she explains "This is exactly what I needed." The hostess returns to your table and asks "How is everything tasting tonight." You explain to her that "words cannot explain how wonderful it all is." The hostess light and delightful conversation almost makes it feel like you're her only responsibility for the night, even though the restaurant is bustling with energy and wonderfully light music. In the back you see the owner working diligently to help the staff and make this evening the best it could be for all. Thank you Bourbons. You have really outdone yourselves again. Brian and Marci

I ordered my prime rib med rare and I would prob ordered it a little rarer next time but the crust on it was so good. The service was very friendly and we loved the retro decor inside. Def going back and need to also try breakfast sometime.
