Really one of the biggest hidden gem breweries ive ever been to. If you are a beer fan that likes unique styles this is the place. Ive never had a bad beer here at all. This latest time I had a really great sour and barley wine but the best beer and one of the best ive probably ever had was called Stoner Witch made with THC terpines. It smelled and tasted just like dank delicious weed. The food here is amazing as well. Pizzas are always good but we got a grinder sandwich that was very well done. I could go here like every day I wished I lived closer. read more

Our visit this time was not the best. The food was underwhelming and the price was ouch. The salad dressing on the greek salad was not a traditional greek dressing, it tasted like yogurt? It was a bit strange. The rest of the ingredients tasted nice and fresh. We tried the homemade soup, tomato basil. It tastes too much like pizza sauce ‍. Our pizza was just OK, which I usually love. We ordered a large half and half and I realized we pay the price of the more expensive pizza but it was over $40. Im not sure why. It was a bit of price shock (still getting over it). The large monster is $38 something so Im having a hard time getting to $40.76 (we had 1/2 monster, 1/2 bbq chicken). I love the crust but didn't like the Monster and and bbq had too little chicken on it. We had peanut butter pie just for a new dessert to try and it was not at all what I expected. Its a very thick peanut butter filling... it needed something to tone it down. We ordered whip on top (should have came on it imho) and we still needed something to take away a bit of the richness so ordered a scoop of ice cream. Needless to say it became a very expensive piece of pie. Busy Sunday, waited about 20 minutes for a table for 5. Service was good not over the top and that is ok. Ordered a large meat and a smaller pepperoni. It tasted good, was served nice and hot but lacked meat. The roasted whole garlic cloves was interesting and a nice touch. Beer was good, could have been served a little colder for my personal taste. This is a great spot for thin, thin crust pizza. It is very similar to the thin crust pizza formerly sold by Fairhaven Pizza (my favourite in B'ham) before it changed hands recently. I haven't tried much of the rest of the menu and what I have tried I have been disappointed with. If you don't drink beer, you will probably be disappointed with the drink selection - no soft drinks. For this reason, I usually stop by a store and pick up drinks, get my pizza to go and eat it in the car. I've always found staff to be friendly. They limit how many to go orders are done during busy times, but you can call in advance and arrange something for later. When they are busiest they don't answer their phone. Looking back on this review, I can see how some might get turned off by this place, but I still get a pizza here several times/year and occasionally go with friends...eat pizza and drink apple juice. read more

WOW! What an amazing spot for post-hiking munchies. We stopped here for just a drink, but once we smelled the pizza come out we couldn't help ourselves and got the daily special (shrimp scampi pizza). The drinks were solid (especially the Johnny Red Eyes), and the pizza was absolutely delicious. We also loved the atmosphere of the place. It seemed like all of the staff members liked to joke with one another and got along very well. We also enjoyed that the servers seemed to know the locals very well. What Happened?!?! I used to tout North Fork pizza as the best IN THE WORLD!! The last 3 times we have eaten there, our pizza has been a soggy, cheesy mess. (We were hoping that the regular chef was on vacation so we kept trying). This time we even ordered it crispy to see if it would dry it out at all. Nope. Even our waitress commented that it wasn't crispy and went back to make sure she had written "crispy" on our order. She said the cooks thought he could "crisp it up a bit" but it was already cut and we had pulled a couple of slices out. The cheese drowned out the other toppings - so very sad. One of the reasons that we have LOVED North Fork pizza over the years (we've been regulars since 1998 and always get the House Combination, add fresh tomatoes) is the crispy crust, quality toppings, and no cheap gooey Dominos type cheese. You can compare this current pizza to my previous North Fork pizza photos. There is hardly any cheese on the previous ones. It was PERFECT! We used to always bring our out of town friends and family here. Did the new cook come from Pizza Hut? Dominos? Chuck E Cheese?? Please stop with the copious greasy cheese!!! Yuck! This place is such a blessing for any vegans passing through the area. You can order any pizza you want and substitute it with vegan cheese. Apps like the cheesy sticks can also be subbed with vegan cheese. There's virtually no other vegan food options in town, so we were okay with paying extra for nondairy cheese, but just so others are aware, these are the prices to substitute for vegan cheese: 18" pizza $7.50 extra 12" pizza $4.50 extra Cheesy sticks $2.50 extra Visited here 3x in July 2025. I'm really sad to leave this review because I've always loved North Fork, and this review is not with regard to the food nor service workers as they are lovely and the food is always great. The reason for the poor review is because my mother, who was visiting from out of town, expressed concern about a dog left in a car in the parking lot on a 90+ degree day, who did not look well or responsive. All my mother did was ask if they could call out the car type and license so that the owner could go address their dog's safety. The service workers were totally fine with doing thia, but the owner (or head manager?) immediately just started yelling at my mom and told her they weren't going to do anything about it, and it wasn't worth their time, and he told his employees not to call out about the car. So I can't help but wonder how this owner/manager treats his employees if he's immediately going off the handle on a customer who just spent a hundred dollars, for simply being concerned about a dog. Again, cooks made great food, and service workers are a gem, but whoever the guy with the gray facial hair and glasses needs to check his anger. Maybe he doesn't like dogs. FWIW, we did call the police, and they told us they don't respond to animal welfare calls. It's not the responsibility of the restaurant to hold a customer accountable for leaving their animal in a hot car, and they can't force them to do anything about it, but they could have at least called out the car type and license and said "your dog is unresponsive". read more

Good service, good food and a cozy environment. We went in on a Friday evening, got sat right away and ordered some drinks. The caesar dressing was more of a vinaigrette rather than your creamy caesar but the salad was nonetheless fresh and delicious. The pizza was an absolute rock star. The combination of half spicy half mediterranean was perfect. The only part that was lacking were the desserts as they did not taste to have nearly as much effort as the rest of the meal. To me, the cookie was wayyy too hard and the cheesecake compote was too tart. However, I will be going back and i'm willing to try a different dessert! read more

The gentleman you are referring to is neither the owner, nor the manager. He is just another "service worker" as you call them. I heard him ask for the music to be turned down and MAKE an announcement regarding the dog. Many customers remarked about "what kind of a****** leaves a dog in this heat." and the like. I have a question for YOU Sarah T. If you were so concerned about this dog, why didn't you immediately make an announcement yourself? Why did the other "service workers" go to their co-worker, instead of doing it themselves? Then you call the cops, not only about the dog, but about what kind of responsibility a restaurant AND an employee have? What was YOUR responsibility?! Great selection of tap brews and awesome Italian menu with excellent pizza selection. The staff are very friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable about their beers and food options. My family and I have been here several times over the last couple of years. We have never had anything but an excellent experience. The brewery restaurant is very warm and relaxing. Came for a late lunch at around 2pm on a Saturday afternoon before a hike. We were seated quickly and ordered a pizza, Caesar salad and a couple of beers. Service was friendly and efficient. They have a good selection of beers and just about any pizza combination you can think of. Pizza was very good, beers were as well and we appreciated how quickly everything arrived. Best pizza in Washington state (and likely anywhere). We have been going to North Fork for 22 years (drive 45 miles roundtrip every week to enjoy their pizza). Service could not be any better - we love Jef and his team. They are all professional as well as highly customer service oriented. They treat everyone with respect and kindness. For years we have been told that it is the water in the area that makes their pizza crust so amazing. Since we have tried pizza in most places in the area, have to agree that nothing matches the lovely think crust with delicious, flavorful topping. I highly recommend this restaurant. P.S. Service (employees, except the male balding bartender whom has all the personality and warmth of a trout) and ambiance are nice, especially during the week when there's little to no wait for a table. On Friday and Saturdays, wait times for a table typically run over an hour but can take multiple hours during peak times. Food prices are high for the portion sizes and pizza topping amounts they give, imho, pizzas need more cheese and all ingredients really. We arrived just at the right time, before it got packed for the dinner rush. The ambiance gave off a cool, old, character feel with blue and white checkered Bavarian inspired table cloths, metal beer signs on the wall and an old saloon style feel with all the wood. It almost felt like an old ski lodge, but also like a "stube" from Germany. We were impressed by the beer selection - we had the Cherry IPA and a sour. Both were exceptionally tasty. We also shared a 12 inch spicy pizza and 12 inches was HUGE! It was 6 solid slices and the crust stood out to us. It was not a thin crust, but it was also not doughy crust either. The pizza was nice and spicy, with hunks of garlic, jalapenos, red onions, sausage and cheese on top. On the table they offered parmesan, garlic powder, and oregano (or italian seasoning?). Customer service was standard but not exceptional. We left satisfied and were happy to have stopped at this place as we were heading to Bellingham. One word. Yum! Okay, maybe a few more. My daughter looked this place up as we were planning a Christmas cabin getaway. We were thinking that either we'd make pizza at home, or we'd go out for pizza and beers the day they arrived. Now, don't get me wrong: I make a MEAN pizza, but somehow the idea of trying a new pizza place while on vacation appealed. Hubby and I stopped by this place on the way up to our cabin and it looked super cute. Didn't stop in because we knew we'd end up here in a few days. So, we get there and are seated quite quickly even though the place was busy. Our drinks came quickly and we started perusing the menu. Daughter HAD to have the cheesy bread sticks so we ordered those right away. Then, the tough decisions had to be made! What pizza to order??? The struggle was REAL, people. So many good options. We decided to get two of the smaller size pizzas instead of one big one. Daughter wanted a Chicken Margherita, but 1/2 with no cheese because she gets tummy aches from too much dairy (do NOT ask me how she justified the cheese sticks, then...I just roll with it). Then we ordered the Classic, but 1/2 was supposed to be with no green peppers because Hubby can't stand them. As it turned out, a little more than 1/2 had peppers but I was totally fine with that (I'm evil...). Overall, the pizza was the best I've had in a LONG time. Crust was nice and chewy with a great bite. The pizzas were terrifically flavorful -- both varieties were great.
