$40.76 18" Half The Monster Pizza & 2nd Half Your Choice
Char B.

Our visit this time was not the best. The food was underwhelming and the price was ouch. The salad dressing on the greek salad was not a traditional greek dressing, it tasted like yogurt? It was a bit strange. The rest of the ingredients tasted nice and fresh. We tried the homemade soup, tomato basil. It tastes too much like pizza sauce ‍. Our pizza was just OK, which I usually love. We ordered a large half and half and I realized we pay the price of the more expensive pizza but it was over $40. Im not sure why. It was a bit of price shock (still getting over it). The large monster is $38 something so Im having a hard time getting to $40.76 (we had 1/2 monster, 1/2 bbq chicken). I love the crust but didn't like the Monster and and bbq had too little chicken on it. We had peanut butter pie just for a new dessert to try and it was not at all what I expected. Its a very thick peanut butter filling... it needed something to tone it down. We ordered whip on top (should have came on it imho) and we still needed something to take away a bit of the richness so ordered a scoop of ice cream. Needless to say it became a very expensive piece of pie. The waitress was kind and we really do like the charm of this county place but our food and the price will be haunting us for awhile.

The pizza here was amazing! My husband loved his beer as well. It's in the middle of nowhere and a great stop on the way back from Canada. It's a very small place and definitely is a bar atmosphere. The service was just okay but the food made up for it. It was a very good three meat pizza. Reasonably priced too

Table for 5

Busy Sunday, waited about 20 minutes for a table for 5. Service was good not over the top and that is ok. Ordered a large meat and a smaller pepperoni. It tasted good, was served nice and hot but lacked meat. The roasted whole garlic cloves was interesting and a nice touch. Beer was good, could have been served a little colder for my personal taste. Seated by the bar it was loud but entertaining. Couple flys taunting us during our meal.

Shrimp scampi pizza

WOW! What an amazing spot for post-hiking munchies. We stopped here for just a drink, but once we smelled the pizza come out we couldn't help ourselves and got the daily special (shrimp scampi pizza). The drinks were solid (especially the Johnny Red Eyes), and the pizza was absolutely delicious. We also loved the atmosphere of the place. It seemed like all of the staff members liked to joke with one another and got along very well. We also enjoyed that the servers seemed to know the locals very well. Highly recommend this place for a cozy bite-to-eat and/or some brews!

Great post hike stop! Extremely friendly staff great atmosphere! Caesar salad was great, the crust on the pizza was perfect cheese super melty. 10/10 would recommend!!

Back in the day - notice no cheap greasy cheese!!

What Happened?!?! I used to tout North Fork pizza as the best IN THE WORLD!! The last 3 times we have eaten there, our pizza has been a soggy, cheesy mess. (We were hoping that the regular chef was on vacation so we kept trying). This time we even ordered it crispy to see if it would dry it out at all. Nope. Even our waitress commented that it wasn't crispy and went back to make sure she had written "crispy" on our order. She said the cooks thought he could "crisp it up a bit" but it was already cut and we had pulled a couple of slices out. The cheese drowned out the other toppings - so very sad. One of the reasons that we have LOVED North Fork pizza over the years (we've been regulars since 1998 and always get the House Combination, add fresh tomatoes) is the crispy crust, quality toppings, and no cheap gooey Dominos type cheese. You can compare this current pizza to my previous North Fork pizza photos. There is hardly any cheese on the previous ones. It was PERFECT! We used to always bring our out of town friends and family here. Did the new cook come from Pizza Hut? Dominos? Chuck E Cheese?? Please stop with the copious greasy cheese!!! Yuck! Thankfully, the beer is still good. That why it gets 3 stars.

Angie makes this place shine like a diamond!!! The food is breathtaking but she makes the experience perfect, we wait sometimes to sit at the bar just to be close to her!!! She needs a raise and a high five for spectacular service

So disappointed, the meat grinder doubled in price and shrank in size. Seriously $25 for a small sandwich.

Cicchitti's Pizza Truck

I really want to like this truck, because the world needs more pizza trucks. But when someone…read moregoes, this pizza is so bad you've got to try it... well. So here goes. The crust is correct for the style they are making and it comes out of the oven crispy. The cheese tastes of poor quality and presents partially melted like they used low quality prebagged shredded , which is kinda messed up considering the price point and the size of the slice. The sauce... is a culinary war crime. I've never had a slice of pizza make me mad before, so there is that.

Their pizza was good, but I'm not returning here. I'm not comfortable with the way how they handle…read morefood. They bake pizza first, and reheat the slices as orders come in. When they pull apart the slices, they grab them and they do so with bare hands. Also, the same guy was checking the temperature of a pizza (I think) with the back of his hand. His hand was touching the pizza. Since they reheat the slices, the pathogens will probably die (at least some of them), but I just don't feel comfortable as they touch the food with bare hands too much. I don't know if it's a code violation. Even if it's not, I don't feel comfortable personally. I can only imagine how they make the pizza behind the scene. ****************************** If you found something useful in my review, please hit "useful" so that I can improve my reviews. Being mainly a tourist town, Friday Harbor isn't necessarily the greatest of dining destinations…read more Many of the establishments cater to the 'one and done' tourist crowd, but Van Go's Pizza is a real gem that has the chops to maintain a devoted regular clientele. THE ROSES: Located a block off the main drag in Friday Harbor, VGP is situated in a cozy, peaceful space. On nice days I highly recommend dining in the garden space out back. The salads and pizzas are excellent; they only do a relatively thin crust pizza, but it is done perfectly, and the toppings are of excellent quality. They have a very good selection of pizzas on offer; all the 'usual suspects', and a very creative selection of their own concoctions. For the GF crowd, they also offer a very nice 10" GF crust. Very good selection of wines, ciders, and beers (both bottle and tap). The staff is truly delightful; friendly and very efficient. They really leave you feeling that they appreciate your business. THE THORNS: The menu seems a little limited in that it appears to be just pizza and salads, but I think I'd rather dine in a place that does a few things really well rather than one that has a menu that's 'A jack of all trades but master of none'. THE VERDICT: Van Go's Pizza is a real standout on the Friday Harbor casual dining scene. It definitely worth the short walk up from the ferry landing and away from the tourist traps. Highly recommend!

Whenever we come here we get the Chair 9 Combo, the Whiskey Crab Dip, and the Caesar Salad without question. We've also had many of their other pizzas and appetizers, which are all incredible. I've been all over the world and tried many types of pizzas. Chair 9's perfectly crispy thin crust pizza is the best of its kind. Like I said, I quite literally dream about it. If we didn't live an hour away, I'd be here multiple times a week, and I'm not even kidding. The staff are all so kind, friendly, and welcoming. I grew up watching the TV show Cheers, and Chair 9 mirrors that vibe for customers - it's the place where everybody knows your name. When you're here, it's an extension of your living room; but just with incredible pizza, bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers, rumble strips, nachos, and excellent local beers and ciders on tap. Shout out to the amazing owners, Bryan and Jill, for all of their hard work and dedication to keeping this restaurant and bar a constant mecca for skiers, snowboarders, snow sport enthusiasts, and passersby's alike. In the many years we've been coming here, it's never been better. If you're feeling thirsty, hungry, or just want to stop in to see the rad vintage snowboards on the wall, this is the place for you. The Blue T lodge next door also has 6 rooms and if you book ahead of time, you can enjoy your time at Chair 9 and then spend the night in their nice spacious rooms. We have taken advantage of this many times when we plan a ski weekend! P.S. -- This place is also kid friendly and has coloring pages and a game room upstairs, to keep the kiddos entertained. I don't have any children myself, but I do love seeing how much fun a whole family can have when visiting this restaurant. Currently finishing my last bite of pizza and I very well may just order another one. Cheers!

I'm not sure this pizza worked as well as I'd imagine- the crust was pretty burnt in places, and quite chewy. My friend who loves making pizzas suspected the dough was over worked. The dates were rough chopped into large pieces, so bites alternates between really bitter arugula, and then extremely sweet and chewy dates. Chopping the dates finer and maybe doing a quick seasoning/oil rub on the arugula would've helped. Overall, it lacks balanced flavor, it didn't quite meld well together. The pizzas aren't that big, and are pretty pricey for the result. - For the veg/vegans: There's around 3 options- cheese, margarita, and the first date pizza (arugula, apple, dates). Thankfully vegan Daiya mozzarella is an option! Although I did miss the more nuanced flavors Miyoko has.
