Stopped by this place for dinner with the family, as we had seen it a few times while driving through during our vacation. Place was very busy, had to wait about 20 min for a table, which wasn't bad at all. Hostess was friendly and nice. Our server was very nice as well. Food was great! We ordered a half Chicken Margherita and half House Meat and it did not disappoint. For appetizers we had the Caesar salad and Spinach Artichoke dip, which were also delicious. Being at a brewery, we had to try the beer- I had The Littlest Witch, which was unexpectedly good and mellow. We stopped by the brewery after a drive and hike up to see Mount Baker. I was pleasantly surprised that I could actually order a pizza. They had tons of options to choose from, toppings as well as a gluten free crust and vegan cheese - yippee! I haven't had pizza in years! I chose to make my own combo with spinach, mushrooms, roasted garlic and sausage. The sausage was spicy not mild so beware - if I had known that I would have left it off completely as spicy sausage gives me heartburn. The pizza was delish and we enjoyed our dinner! read more

This place is crowded and doing a land office business on a Sunday afternoon at the ending of August. We ordered pizza and a"grinder." The grinder is a grinder in name only. It was supposed to have pesto on it but it was a very small amount. And it was cold. The white pizza had Gorgonzola (!) on it. Wasn't awful but was a weird addition to a pizza that's typically garlic and fontina cheese. Oh well, not great. Or bad. read more

The service was great and the pizza and breadsticks were delicious. They do follow covid-19 protocol by having customers wait outside for a waitress to greet them. They have hand sanitizer available to apply before entering the restaurant and they require masks to be worn. We ordered pizza, breadsticks, beer and their homemade root beer. A hidden gem!!! We were staying in Glacier a couple of nights to explore a different area of NCNP and surrounding areas and I read about this place during my research. My boyfriend and I looked forward to coming here during our entire trip to WA (Glacier was our last stop). When you arrive, you have to wait outside until a host/hostess determines if there is a table available, which I think is very smart during Covid. We came a bit early for dinner time, I think a little before 5 and were sat immediately but it did get busier. We ordered the beer cheese dip with tortilla chips which wasn't what you would expect for beer cheese but it was SO good. The two of us ordered the large and ate the entire thing. We also ordered pizza. I got the House Meat (which I believe is one of their most popular) and subbed the mushrooms for sliced pepperoncinis. My boyfriend ordered the Spicy. Both of ours were actually pretty spicy, which I like but if you don't, this is a warning that the House Meat pizza is also spicy. The table next to us ordered it too and I'm not sure they liked the spice. Both pizzas were excellent!! My boyfriend finished his entire one and I had half of mine and ate the rest later that night. Awesome Awesome Awesome! Such a good find. We stopped here on our way to Artist point. Initially, I was really anxious about going into a sit down restaurant during the Covid times. But the staff here has managed social distancing amazingly. You cannot enter the restaurant unless someone lets you in. Everyone inside was wearing masks (ofcourse not while eating). I really felt at ease. We got the white pizza and Hefe beer. Perfect combination and taste really good. The staff was very attentive and quick too. What a find! Noticed this place on our way up to hike at Mt. baker. On the way home decided to stop for dinner. Charming on the inside as well. Our server was so kind, cheerful and took great care of us. I think I forgot what that was like! My husband has a Caesar salad and slice of pepperoni pizza. I had the house salad with chicken added and the honey vinaigrette. The food was made with quality ingredients and tasted so fresh! My husband also enjoyed the beer. I have been procrastinating in writing this review because I fear it will be unpopular. I really wanted to love this place as much as everyone else does, but I just don't :( ::ducks:: It's a small area and service is friendly. The beers are okay - there's better beer downtown - but the ESB is quite good. The pizza is good - not super - but sure, it's solid. There are not as many options for toppings as you'd find at La Fiamma, per se; toppings are a little more typical, with the exception of the WHOLE GARLIC CLOVES OH MY GOD THEY ARE AMAZING. My biggest gripe is that the pizza just isn't cooked long enough, no matter how many times I ask. I want the char from the oven! Friendly service also means somewhat forgetful sometimes, so they forgot to run the check, and we just waited around for a while. That, combined with the LONG drive home, just left the visit on a lower than awesome rung. read more

We are day one to moving into town. A chef and a beer snob (ex brewery employee) we decided in our excitement of this new town, we picked blindly and moved to, to try out the local Pizza and Brew house. Let's start with food. We ordered the Nor' Easter. After trying Chicago pizza, California pizza, and nevada pizza. We are currently having a rebirth. The crust is a flakey heaven of dough perfection, with the soul jerking of fresh garlic sprinkled on top. We have died and been reborn. Now the beer tho..... let's go there. The nitro stout and the most basic IPA can tell me a lot about a brewer and their talent. Pa-POW! I'll take a soft floral IPA any day, mind you we also had the other two IPAs; Ecstatic peace, and the Ghost and flowers. The nitro stout "Dry stout" is the perfect amounts of dry and smooth making the toes warm on a chilly day. The IPA is like the sun just hit a meadow of sweet flowers and you're a bee drinking the sweet Hector, and with every upgrade in bitter but floral hops you slowly begin to pollenate the world with flowers completely saving the planet with the sweet living hug of bright colors, love and beer. The service was excellent, Sierra was wonderful and was all the vibes we needed after a long day of endless driving. This place feels like home. Nice place to stop in for beer and a bit after a long day of hiking. I wasn't a huge fan of the beer selections, but had a Hefeweizen that was great. Beware of the rude bartender; I asked if they had an orange slice and he talked to me like I was stupid. I asked for water twice and never got it. We settled in ordering the Spicy Chipotle Dip for a snack and the bartender never check on us again. We ordered the classic supreme pizza and it arrived to our table piping hot. The crust is thin and flavorful. Toppings were fresh. The sauce was slightly sweet with bland tomato flavor. If you are driving to or from Mt Baker make the effort to stop here. It is kind of an unexpected treat which has the right combination of rustic and rural without being divey. We sat down at the bar and ordered their IPA which was true to form without being overly complex or trying too hard. It was very pleasant and probably went down too easily after a day of snow shoeing. We ordered the House Meat pizza which was good if you picked off the generous supply of roasted garlic cloves. Fortunately the young lady sitting next to me asked if she could have the garlic after I picked them off. I apologize to her boyfriend for sending her home smelling like garlic but better her than me. Bottom line * great and friendly service * good pizza * tasty beer * cool people sitting at the bar to chat with (yay extroverts) * rustic decor Sounds like a good combination for a small business to me. Well folks, here's your answer. The North Fork delivers all that and more (you can even get married there if you're really in the mood to live dangerously). The beer is inventive and sublime, from their sweet/hoppy IPA to the more mellow/roasty deliciousness of their Son of Frog amber, to their signature sour(s) and even a fresh-off-the-vine Framboise, these guys know their brews and how to do them right. And then there's the pizza. A chewy-yet-crispy thin crust topped with any number of delicious meats/veggies/cheese. And I haven't even mentioned their Caesar salad yet, which goes down as the one and only place on earth where I'll eat anchovies willingly. I'd give 5 stars if it wasn't for the cool greeting and frigid interactions with the one waitstaff on shift during our visit. I'm glad that my wife and I stumbled upon this curious brewery on our way home from playing on the summit. There is plenty of free parking in a gravel lot. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Families are welcome in the main dining area. There is a small partitioned area that is considered 21+. I was surprised to see how many people were dining here and how many people were just entering to fill their growlers and pick up their pizza's. I was only surprised due to the fact that this brewery is located in the middle of gorgeous nowhere. Where the locals were coming from I couldn't tell you. Locals they were though. We each enjoyed a pint of Strong Scotch Ale while we hungrily waited for our pizza to be prepared. Next time we'll have our growlers with us so that we can take some home with us to enjoy. We chose the 12" House Meat Pizza (6 generous slices) for our lunch: marinara sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, onion, whole roasted garlic cloves, mushrooms and Parmesan cheese. What a great choice we made! The crust was nice and thin. The ingredients fresh. Paired perfectly with our slurps. Thank you North Fork for sharing a slice of heaven with us. What a great find! Saw this place on our way up to Mt Baker and thought we'd try it on the way back. Great variety of beers and ciders, and they even have their own root beer (non-alcoholic). We ordered the beer cheese queso that comes with tortilla chips (not pictured), the antipasto salad with chicken, and a meat calzone. So good! My husband said it's the best calzone he's had, and my salad was excellent quality. Their pizzas looked and smelled amazing, so we'll definitely be ordering one of those next time. Absolutely wonderful atmosphere - we ate in the beer garden late afternoon on a warm day and it was perfectly comfortable. Great service, and absolutely excellent food. Honestly, considering there aren't many food options on this stretch up to Baker, I wasn't sure how good the food would be. But it was wonderful! I'd put it up there with Seattle quality of food and variety of brews (but not Seattle prices)! These folks have put a lot of thought and hard work into this place. We went to North Fork last Fall and the best part is the drive through the country into the foothills of the Cascades. We decided to go back on a Tuesday because we were hoping it wouldn't be packed with tourists. It wasn't packed so we sat near a window in the step down dining room and grabbed some menus. First, the Beer Menu was lacking, in what we consider real beer, lots of Ciders, Sours and Nitros. I got the Irish Stout and husband tried the Wit supposedly a Belgian Style Wheat. Mine was pretty good. His on the other hand, was not a Belgian Style Wheat but maybe a second cousin twice removed unfiltered beer. Disappointing to say the least. We ordered a 12 inch Spicy pizza and just endured the very loud guy discussing pizza toppings, their prices and his very sour beer. Our pizza came out really fast and didn't look spicy at all. The meat toppings were almost crumbles and we counted 6 pickled jalapeño slices. The sauce was bland in seasoning and very light. The crust was perfect on the edges and super doughy in the middle. Our server finally showed up and asked if everything tasted delicious and we asked if they had changed the sauce recipe because it was "off". They reply was, "I don't think we changed brands." Huh? You don't make your own red sauce? Check please! She didn't know how to take a negative comment and that is quite odd because that's part of working in a restaurant. It seems as though this Brewery Pizza joint is definitely for folks who like the fringe beers, ciders and sours and not for folks like us who prefer traditional brews. I wish them well but a 45 minute drive, one way, for a disappointing meal is not for us. read more

Whenever I am in this neck of The woods I HAVE to make a stop at The North Fork. Their salads beat any salad within miles, slices of pizza are huge and so fresh, and recently I tried an oyster shooter and I will def be getting more. And of course, their beer stands alongside any other microbreweries in Bellingham and to be quiet honest, outshines! This is quite a road trip from seatac and worth it not only is the location quite peaceful but the beer / Pizza / root beer is excellent.

I notice that most of the negative reviews of this restaurant mention lackluster customer service. On our visit, it was a bit meh (not really that cheerful or pleasant, and more perfunctory). Pizza was okay, the crust was too soft, and slice was overall kind of limp. Prices: for 18in pizza House meat pizza, and three sodas, price was $48 (including 20% tip). Not sure this was worth it, but when you're out in the sticks, the prices can be a bit higher. Did not try the beer, but from the looks of the other customers drinking it, I am sure it is very good. I asked for a coke or pepsi, and was told they only have Hansen's cane sugar soda. Would have preferred a Coke or Pepsi. read more
