It was very chill. They have 2 locations and this one is the more 'lax version off the side of a road. Their other locations is in Chilliwack which is more established as a restaurant type. After talking to the guy at the till, he mentioned that they switch flavours every thursday. That was intriguing and made this place more interesting. I guess it's a place I'll have to come back to time to time. This place is more known for their sours. I have to agree. The strong blueberry one was really good. It was packed with flavour, thanks to the blueberries. Some of the other fruit sours were a bit of a miss. I had high expectations for the strawberry one but didn't really get strawberry unless I thought about it... My fave thing about their flights are the drink cards that go behind each flight glass. It was a nice touch to be reminded of what you got and read the vision behind the drink. (Almost wish the photos weren't of the cans but more of a moodboard to convey the flavour's vibe).

We got there around 5:40p. Doors at 6, movie at 7, beer and pizza available. So we sat in the tasting room and ordered a flight to help us choose which beer to have with the movie. We tried 3 beers and they just weren't very good. The one beer I really wanted - the hot chocolate porter - had been released as part of a combo 4 pack with a cranberry orange gose... Gross... They hadn't released that beer yet, so you could only get it in the 4pack. They wouldn't sell me an individual can of the porter, yet one of their employees was walking around drinking one. Just not cool. So, we are kept in the tasting room until a few minutes after 7 (though I saw them open the pizzas and put them on the counter around 6:30 after they had sat in the tasting room since 6:15. When they finally let us in, we grab a slice of pizza and they turn out the lights and start the movie. They had 10 people sign up in advance and were expecting more people... They ordered in 2 pizzas... Seriously? So, we ended up having a late dinner...elsewhere. So... Trying to help here... Once you close for the event, put the pizza out in the tap room and let people eat at the tables. People will drink beer with their pizza then buy another can as they enter to watch the movie. Sell only cans after you close for the event, so you don't have issues with people bringing glass into the brewery. Order enough pizza for everyone to have a couple of slices. One slice is not dinner. If you need to raise the price to $15 to cover more pizza, that's fine. Your advertisement says pizza available, but it didn't say it's included in the price. Be clear. Remember that not everyone eats meat, so maybe a veggie pizza would be good. The popcorn was a good idea. Maybe offer soda or bottled waters in case someone doesn't drink beer or is the designated driver. I hope they get the logistics of that event figured out... It could be really fun... I also really really hope they figure out how to make better beer.

The karaoke DJ was nice, it was easy to talk to him, enough people signed up for karaoke that everyone went but he did pace it out with a break in between. He was also flexible; I was on the list to go first after the break but my family wanted to leave, so he ended the break early.

The waffles was good, not the best though. The potato tots that came with it were tasty. The maple syrup was flavourful and helped tied everything together. The interior of the place has a very interesting aesthetic to it. They have antiquated arcade games like Street Fighter and Pac-Man in one section of the restaurant. There were also some other activities like board games, a large Jenga set and table curling. The service was decent and found no complaint in their service. My dining experience there was not the best I had at a restaurant; however, I will come back again to try their dinner entrees. I know others will enjoy frequenting at this brewing location.
