It was very chill. They have 2 locations and this one is the more 'lax version off the side of a road. Their other locations is in Chilliwack which is more established as a restaurant type. After talking to the guy at the till, he mentioned that they switch flavours every thursday. That was intriguing and made this place more interesting. I guess it's a place I'll have to come back to time to time. This place is more known for their sours. I have to agree. The strong blueberry one was really good. It was packed with flavour, thanks to the blueberries. Some of the other fruit sours were a bit of a miss. I had high expectations for the strawberry one but didn't really get strawberry unless I thought about it... My fave thing about their flights are the drink cards that go behind each flight glass. It was a nice touch to be reminded of what you got and read the vision behind the drink. (Almost wish the photos weren't of the cans but more of a moodboard to convey the flavour's vibe).

Some others they have are BBQ, taco, filipino, and pizza. From Lumpia Luv I had scrumptious pork lumpia's with angel hair noodles and one of my pals had rice and chicken. This food truck was owned by a lovely wife and husband who were quite pleasant to speak to. Going into the Beach Cat brewery made me feel as if I was a coconut in a palm tree enjoying the light breeze and good company. The ambiance was beautiful there was indoor and outside seating with games available. It was a gorgeous place with an amazing view. I would recommend this place!

The place wasn't too busy and the bartender poured us a sample of four different whiskeys. The #11 was my fave. A nice rye. Not too spicy. I also purchased a bottle of dark cherry infused whiskey and a 4 pack of Irish Red Ale, which was nice. They had a DJ with trivia on a Thursday night.

We only got one beer and it was a beer type we don't often get, a Dunkel style beer with a funny name called Creepy Uncle. The logo is fun on the bottle and it will be a name for a beer I won't soon forget. With the beer in the flavor profile you can expect to find maltiness witha hint of vanilla and nuttiness with an appropriate amount of sweetness. The beer is smooth and light bodied. It's a good one to sit down to and relax when you have that desire to unwind.
