Clearly do have non-children's Chicken Strips on the menu.
Ella B.

Bad service and bad at math! We placed a pickup order for Chicken Strips with salad and Chill(wack) Cheesesteak simple enough. I asked the server to add a side of au jus, she said "Are you sure you want an extra one it already comes with the sandwich". I said okay as long as it comes with the sandwich no big deal. She said it did. When we went to pick up the order just as we were getting to the car and one of the staff ran out as they had forgetting the salad. No big deal. I thought maybe I should check the bag and noticed strips of bacon sticking out of the side of one of the boxes, which was strange as nothing we ordered had bacon. I opened the box and there was some sort of cheese sandwich. We brought it back in and let them know they had made a mistake. The server then told my husband that they don't have chicken strips (see pictures from menu they do) besides the kids menu, even though on the phone I spoke with her and talked about dipping sauce and nothing was mentioned about kids chicken strips. So I guess she punched in kids strips and we waited 10 more minutes. We got the strips and left. When we got home we open the box and there we 3 strips in the box and no sauce (awesome). I then looked on the menu and realized they charged us $14.99 for a chicken club sandwich but either gave us a $7.99 kids meal or we were charged $14.99 for an order of chicken strips which means for the great price of $7.00 you can either: A)Add a 3rd chicken strip to make it a non-kids order which is ridiculous for 1 more strip or B) Get charged for a chicken club and not bother and not get give change when you realized you screwed up our order and gave me a kids meal. Also when unpacking the bag we realized there was no au jus. Honestly this whole thing was mess and it's incredibly frustrating when they clearly have a server who doesn't know how to properly take an order properly or even know the menu well enough to be taking orders in the first place. They weren't apologetic or even really concerned about the errors. We order form this place about twice a week and this will definitely put that on hold for a while.

Grilled cheese and soup

This is such an interesting place. My wife and I and I have eaten here a couple of times, and what always blows me away is the service and the quantity of food. Always lots of fries piled onto the plate, and there's never a lack of cheese! What this place does wrong though, is way too much cheese (it can be overwhelming) and the flavors as a whole need to be developed further in the food. That being said we continue to eat here.

Ordered the Holy Jalapeno. The portions are huge. I wasn't able to finish this. It was full of #pork, potatoes, onions, jalapenos, cheese, and topped with 2 eggs. I got the marble #rye as not a lot of places have it. The dish was #delicious, had enough heat and flavour. The staff is friendly and service is quick. Gives a very comfy feel. The place is small so it fills up quickly. I don't recommend any group bigger than 4 ppl as there are 3 booths, four tables that fit 4 and a 2 seater table.

The loaded omelet (without green peppers, because they don't belong in omelets). I added some Sweet salsa at the bottom. So good!

I love this little cafe. Whenever I visit my mom in Chilliwack, I make sure we have breakfast here at least once. The food is absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. The portions are large. The staff is friendly and a bit sassy. The decor is great. The pulled pork and loaded omelets are both delicious. My mom says the medium poached eggs are done perfectly. You must try the "Sweet" salsa they make. It's sweet and hot at the same time. Really great with the potatoes and omelets. The place is tiny, so there can be a wait on weekends. It's worth it.

The amazing Loaded Burger

This place is a drive to get to from Bham. It's tucked in the corner of a small strip mall. You'll have to look to find it. The decor is like a small town diner that closes at 2 pm! Be aware of that! They have a menu of the daily specials that looked fairly tasty and I was tempted. That would be another time. I was there for that amazing burger I had read about. Ordered The Loaded Burger and began waiting in anticipation. Every table was filled, that said a lot for the business. The staff is small and very efficient there, you will want for nothing during your visit. Under 10 minutes, they brought the burger, considering how busy the place was, that's a compliment to the chef in back! This burger had a noticeable trait of a burger joint done on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives! It had a satellite ring of cheddar cheese extending 2 inches around the entire burger! I've always wanted to try this style of burger, but could never find the place that did it. They do it HERE! So awesome to find a place up here and not having to go to Sacramento California to try it out. I had to eat around all the cooked cheese to get to the burger with the sauteed mushrooms. When I finally bit in, Oh My, this place knows how to build a burger. Packed with flavor and everything was fresh! Be warned, you're going to get messy with this burger. There will be a lot of grease, because of the cheese (huge amount!) and the high-quality meat the has fat in it to give it the amazing flavor. When done right, a good burger should be on the greasy side, or it would be dry and flavorless! This place has one of the best burgers I've tasted in the Pacific North West! They are absolutely worth the drive to this small town up in Canada! *!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!* Please let me know if you like the review and click "Useful" Let me know what else you would like to see by clicking the "Compliment" button, any thoughts you have are always appreciated. veggie eggs benny with house made hot sauce on top

this little hidden gem is beyond *amazing*!! Found it via google and decided to pop. With 8 tables total it was jammed to the hilt on Sunday at 10am ... uhhhh the reason is the awesome food and warm, welcoming service. The home made hot sauce is in a category of its own ... eggs benny WOWWWW... this is a major hidden gem you have to check out

Pulled pork benny

Amazing food, cute and small seating area, nondescript exterior. Appropriate COVID precautions

Second visit to Corner Nook Cafe

Almost drove right by this cozy little brunch place, but we were delighted when we found it. It's quite the corner nook ;). We were welcomed warmly upon our arrival and seated immediately. It felt very home-y inside, and it's easy to see why it's a favourite of the locals. We ordered the breakfast poutine and the hamburger steak and fries. The food came pretty fast and we were pleasantly surprised at how large the portions were. Everything was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Would definitely come back again!

Lovely small (cozy) and so friendly!

See all

Reasonable prices and large servings. Doesn't look like much from the outside but looks can be deceiving.

Parking isn't great, but available: and the food and service more than make up for the parking. Go. Enjoy. You won't be disappointed.

Try the banana pancakes. The portion sizes are large and cheap and the flavour is out of the park

But the reviews were good and it had a big menu. Walking in, we were greeted with a table filled with fresh baked bread for sale, and a display case full of cakes. The server welcomed us in - they were quite busy, but there was a large empty table in the middle of the room that we were able to sit at. I think the server's name was Cass - but I can't quite recall. Once she learned that it was our first time there, she gave us the full run down: All the bread is made in house The cakes are all Grammy's recipes, which she taught to her niece All the meat is cooked or smoked in house and - ham, turkey, beef etc The menu is large - almost overwhelming, but in a good way. Almost everything comes in half or full. I can't imagine anyone finishing a full meal here - their slogan is "bigger is better" and they really mean it. None of us were able to finish our meals and were left with the perfect amount for dinner later that evening. I ordered Whole Wheat toast with my breakfast and I'm not kidding when I say that it was the best toast I've ever had. I definitely would have bought a loaf to take home but you have to pre-order that one and it's only available on Thursdays :( Oh well, I guess I'll just have to go back!

Cafes attached to garden stores are such a vibe, and it was quite spacious as well. The service was friendly too! The food was alright. I really liked the tomato jam on the breakfast sandwich, and the pork belly was quite tender, but I found that it was lacking in variety of texture and didn't quite have the punches of flavor I was hoping for. The veggie hash was also not super memorable--I wished the potatoes had been crispier or had more color/flavor. The patio area outside was nice to sit in for the morning, however, so it wouldn't be a bad place to have an iced coffee after perusing the plants if you were already in the area.

They have lots of vegan options, so this is what attracted us to the place. I got the vegan hash ($13 plus tax) and my wife got the vegan sandwich ($12.50 plus tax). The food came out in 10 minutes. The vegan hash was pretty solid. Lots of potatoes provide the base, accompanied by tofu, spinach, cherry tomatoes, red pepper and onions, and dressed with a red pepper coulis. I would have liked a larger portion, as I was hungry again a couple hours later, but I was happy with the quality -- and it was a pretty healthy dish. 4/5 My wife also enjoyed her vegan sandwich, which was pretty simply, but came on nice bread and had enough interesting things on it to be satisfying. The accompanying slaw was also quite nice. 3.5/5 The service was extremely nice -- they gave us a free vegan Nanaimo bar (quite tasty) because a bit of the sandwich fell onto the table as the server placed in down. Solid spot. I'd return when in Chilliwack.
