Okay, I've reviewed this business several times, last review was three stars, but it's back up to five. Food service is great, pleasant servers and staff. No more crowding at the entrance, and the inside is still set up so you are distanced from other diners. Last visit, we lost two items (valuable), not discovered till we got home. Phoned, and were told both items had been turned in by the worker cleaning the table, and were put behind the bar, ready for us to pick up. Honest workers, that's always a plus. When the items were picked up, we were served by a pleasant young person who was also a credit to the business. We visit this business often, with friends, and the food has been tops. Horrible breakfast X 2 today with my wife and I. Both styles of hash browns were Luke warm and greasy/soggy. Eggs ordered over medium and came out runny soft. Lots of snot looking substance when cutting into them. Bacon ordered crispy but came charred. Toast was not bad. Waitress forgot cutlery, napkins and coffee. All in all a crap breakfast but it was not that expensive and she did take 20% off for the bad meal. I'll be back but please get rid of that cook working the day shift 10-11am. read more

Their food is always good and very well priced. The side pickled cabbage that is given with almost all dinner entree is odd. I don't like it personally, but it should never be served with Steak Neptune. Breakfasts are my favorite, and they have the best in town. Tried to go for breakfast here in a restaurant with no one in there, except staff awaiting the start of their shift. Owners daughter is the waitress, and her bad attitude is included FREE of charge. Coffee was ordered, was COLD and asked for a fresh pot. Her response "that's all we have...I'll take it OFF your bill then!" She then storms away, muttering something and we all hear her. Visiting our Hometown with family and we were refused service by the manager as our group of 14 was too big. We tried to make a reservation but were told they don't take reservations and just come down - fine. So now there we stand being turned away at the door being told now - not on the phone the day before - that we should have been there between 7-8am. Extremely poor Managment and communication skills. No apology or please come again. I asked twice "are you refusing us service (as we offered to wait) - yes we are refusing you service as we are busy every weekend until 3pm". Went in for lunch on July 25. Young waitress approached not wearing a mask, my wife asked if she was immunized for Covid and she was informed that she could not ask that. She may be doing a great job but I think she should be wearing something more appy for work and not look like she is going to the beach. read more

Horrible service. Half decent food. Wasn't told it was 'back bacon' on the burgers (wasn't even back bacon. Looked like canned ham lightly pan fried) and was charged (and not told it was an extra charge) for normal bacon on the burger. Was charged for a half cup of coffee even though we all ordered alcoholic beverages. Service was SLOW and couldn't find our waitress half the time and it wasn't even that busy and they weren't understaffed at all. Very disappointed. Time before last my Greek salad had mysterious sautéed onions in it and they didn't even offer a replacement salad even after saying 'odd. Those shouldn't be in there'. May 30, 2013. Waited too long for just a menu and a glass of water. My sandwich was rubbery and lacked any flavor. My wife's Asian Salad came without any dressing and she had to wait 7 minutes to get some. The restaurant is terribly understaffed and those that are there lack any sense of professionalism. While there we saw 3 lunches sent back to the kitchen as they were unacceptable. Not a very auspicious start for a first visit. read more

Me, 3 of my dgtrs and baby grandson went to have a birthday brunch for my youngest daughter. Started out all happy, especially to see baby, until the waitress tipped the tray of drinks... guess who left with sticky clothes and purse,,and my dtrs special gift bag? She was very apologetic as she and co-workers hurried to clean it up. I'm just not sure if they knew how much of those drinks landed on me and my belongings..or did they just not want to acknowledge it. Make the story short...don't you think I should have gotten a discount of some sort? or is that just me? B'day girl got a free slice of cake but that's about it. I will never go back. waitress was very nice, but they were completely under staffed. We had a coupon, which turns out is completely mis-printed. The meal was supposed to come with soup AND salad. said we can have either or, otherwise if having both, they are small mini portions. so i had a salad. turns out even that salad was a mini portion not fit for a rabbit to eat. The lettuces was going bad and there was barely any veggies. We ordered a thing of Mexican Poutine, which doesnt make sense at all.... It was under entrees and was supposed to come with a soup OR salad.. but we were informed it did not, and only the 2 items above and the one below came with the soup or salad. The poutine was awesome. but it was extremely small and a useless portion. The main course we ordered was no better. We chose Jimmy J's for dinner tonight for a dinner with our kids to celebrate my husband's birthday and it couldn't have been more disappointing. The service was slow and the food was mediocre. We waited about 25 minutes before asking our server if our starter (nachos) was coming soon. She went to check and told us it would be a couple on minutes and refilled our drinks. We never did see our server again after that. We finally got our starter and 3 of our 4 meals showed up just after the starter was delivered. No one stopped to ask how everything was, no one stopped to take away empty plates. It was just a really crappy experience overall. The restaurant wasn't very clean and heads up, if you order the souvlaki the seasoned potatoes are potato wedges not the kind of potatoes you'd expect with a Greek dish. Terrible service... waited more than an hour for food. Noticed a table that came in way later than mine get favored by the servers because you could tell they knew them. Servers would sit down with that table and ignore other tables. The hard part is the food is really good at this place. So this review is strictly on service/time not on the food as everyone at my table enjoyed their food. read more

I have gone there a few times and it hasn't been too bad. Something simplistic, but didn't make sense to me so I had to comment. Tonight I ordered a rootbeer, got it in a can which is different than normal. I asked for a refill and she commented it would cost me. Normally refills are free so I asked why would it cost me and she said the 'tap' isn't working so there are no refills. Okay, so how much would a can cost? Same price as the refillable soft drinks....strange...their taps don't work so it cost me more money for less than what you normally get? I find staff turnover is frequent and sometimes the new staff don't have a clue with what they are doing. read more

When I come to Chilliwack this is one of two places I go you for breakfast. It's affordable, I like the service and it just damn tasty.

You know that Ikea commercial, "start the car!"? That's exactly what was running through my mind as we left the restaurant after having an awesome breakfast yesterday. Prices are very reasonable, portion sizes and quality of food were both very good. Menu selection was great. Our waitress was terrific and despite it being quite busy in her section, coffee was always topped up, and she was very attentive. Will definitely be going back. read more

I am sorry to say our experience here is quite possibly the worst dining occasion in our memory. We can't decide which was worse, the meal or the service. Having booked beforehand for a number of people the collective meal was so bad that we were credited with 50 percent off our bill. while I find the food is quite good the manager is something else. I ordered a pina colada while waiting for my food and it tasted sour. My husband had a sip and found it didnt taste right also. When I asked the waiter to take it back and bring me something else he informed me that the female Manager would not take it back as I had taken a sip out of it. My husband and I became quite sick after we had the schnitzel Neptune there He had a small amount of the seafood and said it didn't taste quite right so set it to the side .I said mine tasted fine so ate it all. About 9 that nite I had stomach pains that doubled me over and I nearly cried at the severity. After about 9 of these I finally was able to get rid of the offending substance. Later my husband had the same symptoms. He concluded that the seafood had been left warm too long and became toxic .We agreed that we would not go back there even if they offered a free replacement. The coupon we had offered a $10.95 entrée on any choice. However: we were told we had to order off the cheaper early bird menu even though we were there after 6. Our server was not able to answer some of our questions ,but we did not have a long wait or cold food.The whole experience was not very professional. read more
