Teriyaki chicken burger special - sooo good
    Lindsay S.

We stopped by after a weekend camping in Harrison and this place did not disappoint! Everyone's food was so good, such big portions, and well priced. The yam fries were delicious. We loove the teriyaki chicken burger but I believe it was a special so hopefully they have it next time we stop by. My husband and I split that and the thai chicken salad to get some greens in and it was very good! One of our friends got the turkey cranberry sandwich which also looked very good. This will definitely be our go to stop on our way home now!

Potato wedges appetizer with garlic mayo and honey mustard.

Stopped in for a drink and an appetizer of wedge fries. The long island iced tea was on special that night for $5. I don't think it was as potent as it should have been but still good. They had a handful of beers on tap, but some unique ones that sounded interesting. The wedge fries were good, they came with honey mustard and garlic mayo. The fries were nice a crisp cooked how I like them. I would come back for dinner here sometime if I'm in the area again.

I like this place and I haven't even eaten yet..... It's comming..

Lots of parking, great service and I like the look of the place.... Felt like home. Decent food, no complaints but nothing over the top. Would I go back..... Yup but I wouldn't plan the event. All that said give them a shot.... Ya gotta eat somewhere...

Clean food prep area top notch!!

Good food, ranging from basic burgers to seafood at reasonable prices and a vegetarian option. Local beer and good service.

Great food; Great service. They have a nice patio, as well, where you can take your dog. We go there often.

Service was good. Food good as there were seven in group total, was a definite across menu order. May have been a bit noisey.

This review is way overdue. This is my go-to spot for special occasions…read more I first discovered this place about five years ago when my husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We had such a wonderful experience that we came back to celebrate our anniversary three years in a row. Funny enough, we always seem to get seated in the same booth and have had the pleasure of the same great service each time. The COVID years were the only time we didn't go. Tip: Order the tomahawk to share--it's the best dish hands down on the menu, in my opinion. The fat is perfectly charred, and the meat just melts in your mouth. Tip #2: Get the crème brûlée for dessert--you won't regret it. Must order: Brussels sprouts appetizer, green salad, Caesar for two, and the New York steak. Skip: Ribeye steak, escargot, and the seafood tower. Before the main courses, they provide a palate cleanser, which is a really nice touch. Reservations are recommended, but I've seen people walk in after an evening at the casino and get a table with only a short wait. There's a bar nearby where you can grab a drink while you wait.

I've literally never had a bad meal there and am always impressed by the atmosphere and experience. I think the price is very reasonable for the level this steak house provides.

The ambiance was cozy and inviting for most of our meal. However, near closing time the music was turned up quite a bit, which made us feel like we were being encouraged to leave. It took away a little from an otherwise relaxing dining experience. Overall, we had a good meal.

The evening began with the reservation. I called twice to confirm. On the first call, a young man took the booking, confirmed the patio request, and then asked for my credit card over the phone for the 30 dollar no show fee. I declined and asked that he email me so I could provide it securely. No email arrived. I called again and spoke with a woman who assured me everything was confirmed. Upon arrival, I was told a patio reservation was impossible because they "do not do that." Fair enough, except the patio had an open table for eight. When I asked if we could take it, I was told it was reserved for a walk in. In the three hours we were there, that table remained untouched. Either the walk in was exceptionally punctual in not arriving, or the explanation was simply convenient. Now to the food, which unfortunately did not redeem the plot. Every steak ordered at our table was overcooked, and service pacing was inconsistent. Dishes arrived in scattered intervals, with one meal landing after the rest of the table had already finished. Even on a busy night, timing is part of hospitality, not an optional add on. I can forgive a kitchen having an off moment. What was harder to overlook was the lack of professionalism on the floor. A server's skirt repeatedly rode up to the point that her buttocks were visibly exposed while bending and leaning, including directly outside the glass beside our table. My niece, seated by the window, turned toward a noise and was met with an image no family dining experience should include. My sister discreetly and politely notified our waitress, as one would hope someone would do for them. The issue continued multiple times afterward. There was no manager on duty. We were given the owner's number, and I left a voicemail. If I receive a response, I will gladly update this review. As it stands, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Between the reservation contradictions, overcooked steaks, erratic pacing, and a front of house standard that fell well below basic expectations, the experience missed the mark in ways that were both avoidable and unnecessary.

The fries were crispy and complemented the meal perfectly. The service was friendly and fast, and the restaurant had a clean, welcoming atmosphere. Checked this place out while visiting Harrison Lake Hot Springs. So other reviewers have stated…read morethat this place is great and you get a huge amount of food for having the reputation of a tourist trap. I will agree and disagree with some of these reviews from a perspective of a tourist but also someone who eats out a lot. The good: food was good, staff was friendly, ambience was enjoyable sitting outside near the lake in the shade. Family enjoyed the food, especially the fish although our pieces were crumbling and falling apart just touching them to move to other plates. Fries were good, tenders were good. Tartar sauce had a slight honey mustard taste which was a nice change. The bad: prices have gone up since last persons post 9 months ago. Items have increased $2-$3 dollars since then. Someone claiming the burgers were huge and could barely finish half of one, also confirmed by staff they were huge, was not so the case. It was a standard size burger I would compare to slightly shorter than a Big Mac at McDonald's. Other critique was the gravy on the poutine was slightly on the salty side as well. Dining bonus they give you 10% of at picnics ice cream and dessert place that is located next door. Overall it was a nice lunch but will cost you a considerate amount being in a tourist area. Our bill was $89 before tips for a family of 5 with a toddler sharing 3 entrees and drinking water.
