In the past I have loved the burger made with bacon jam and the beer fries. This time both were not very good, The smashed buger was smashed so large that in hung out all around the bun by at least 1 inch. Couldn't taste the bacon jam and the fries were over cooked. The hotdog my grandson had was also over cooked., The bun was toasted to the point of being almost burnt in spots. Wouldn't recomend any more and I certainly have in the past. read more

I was in the area for work and this looked like a cute place in historic downtown Abby. I am SO GLAD I found Brgr Brgr!! Food was fresh, delicious and extremely good value, in my opinion. I ordered a good burger and a strawberry milkshake. It was made fresh; service was friendly and fast. The meat was tender and cooked well (juicy and hot); the milk bun was fresh and soft. The shake was not overly sweet, but creamy and wholesome. I stopped halfway through my meal and recommended this to my boyfriend who occasionally works in the area! Great brgr! First found out about this place through a pop up shop they had out in North Van. Had to wait a bit to get the food, but it was totally worth it. The only thing I woulda liked is for the burger patty to be a bit juicier or have a little bit more sauce on it. Fast forward a few weeks later... Stopped by the actual burger joint out in Abby. Was totally digging the vibe, and the food was even better than the pop up shop.(full kitchen beats a makeshift station any day) Had their new spicy chicken brgr. Can't really remember what was exactly in it, but I enjoyed it a lot. Wasn't too spicy and had good flavour with the bits of slaw in it. Also had their traditional brgr cuz I was real hungry. Best burger in Abbotsford! I recommend the Burger and fries. The burger is well seasoned and has great sauce. The Fries are close to potato wedges than fries however they have great seasoning. The jerk chicken has a nice kick in flavor. The Beer selection highlights the best from local breweries in the lower mainland. I recommend trying something each visit to find a new favorite. The kids selection is either a burger or chicken strips. My daughter loves both and always wants more. Brgr Brgr is on Skip the Dishes and also has call in\pickup. Due to COVID-19 the dining room is closed however I anticipate it's going to be packed once summer hits. (Not a bad thing for local business). The prices aren't bad, I'm always willing to pay a little more for quality local offerings. My family will likely frequent Brgr Brgr often. read more

This is a very trendy burger joint that is the heart of down town Abbotsford. They offer a small menu of burgers, beers, salads, sides, pops and dips. This was our first dining out experience since quarantine restrictions lifted on restaurants and we were more than excited. This was about a week after the restaurants had re opened. They have a very modern and open concept restaurant, and the food goes along with it. You order from the counter, and they bring the food out to you. But from my experience there is no table service as they do not do quality checks or anything like that. So think fast food. They do offer vegan options including 1 burger, 2 salads, 1 sauce and their 3 sides as options. They do charge more than fast food for their burgers, and burgers do no come with sides they need to be ordered separately at an additional cost along with drinks. I would have been more excited with the experience if the delivery of food was made easier on us, as we had made a variety of burger choices some vegan. And when they were brought to us they were all grouped together and just sat down. We had to go up and ask which one was the vegan burger. They offer dips but they are quiet expensive for what you get. It's a half full condiment container for $2, it may have just been they sauce that I had chosen but it did not blow my socks off. I've been wanting to try this place for a while so I stopped in. Aesthetic is ok... I like that they have bigger tables, but it's a bit dark. Not sure the vibe they're going for. I got the veggie burger subbed with black bean pattie. I made a few adjustments as it seemed boring and I don't like that they assume a veggie patty means vegan cheese. I wish either was an option for no additional charge. The taste was FANTASTIC! However it completely fell apart the second a tried to pick it up. Patty doesn't hold together. It was more like a sloppy joe. So if you get that, be prepared. Def. The softest floppiest burger I've ever had but it did taste good. I also got fries and dip. Fries were yummy. I received the best service The food is absolutely amazing, tried it with my family with food sensitivities and allergies and they are always perfect. this review is about the service. I ordered through door dash and I received a notification my food had been picked up. I continued to receive notifications that dashers were arriving at the restaurant to pick up my order. I was very confused. About an hour after my food was apparently picked up , received phone call from Brgr Brgr saying they noticed the anomaly and that my food had been picked up but the dasher driver had disappeared and my order was listed as pending And it was concerning to them. They took it upon themselves to contact door dash and rectify the situation and I received another phone call saying they were already making my new food and a driver was standing by to bring it to me as soon as it was ready. I have never heard of or received the level of attentiveness or service from a restaurant on an ordering app. This places staff are amazing which fits with the food which is second to none read more

Overall the food is really good. The bun is soft and fluffy, the meat was tasty and well seasoned and the sauce was great with a hint of spice. I know not everyone will like that its a bit spicy but it works for me.That said, there were two things that I think would make the experience significantly better. They're going out of their way to serve high quality and local beef at a premium price so I can not for the life of me understand why they would cover such a high end burger with processed American cheese. I know some people won't agree and like how it melts and all that, but some real cheddar or something else would have been a much better decision. Like several other people I think the price are way too high. $13 for a standard cheeseburger is a lot even though I like what they're doing. I saw in pervious reviews they are apparently going to introduce combos but that hasn't happened when I went yesterday so another $4 for onion rings (or $3 for fries) is expensive. Their drinks were $4.50 but didn't want to spend even more money on a burger lunch so we passed. Maybe they can offer standard Coke/Pepsi product at a cheaper price in addition to their craft sodas. Maybe these prices would fly downtown but I think it's asking a lot of Abbotsford. This use to be my go to burger place. I went 04/30/24 and it was the worst burger. They now call them smashed burgers. The patty was so thin and dried out and burnt around the edges. I inquired why the change, I got some lame excuse that they don't put egg in the mix anymore due to people that are allergic to eggs. I commented that is ridiculous as there are 95% of the customers that don't have this issue. I offered a suggestion to make a batch without egg for customers that request no egg. I also said the new smashed burger is to use less meat and smash it down to make it the appearance look like a larger patty. She also commented that they no longer add pork to the blend so that's the reason it is dry. I commented that isn't the reason. you are trying to cut costs by removing more ingredients and then trying to pass it off as a new and creative burger. I also asked if they could make me a normal patty and she said they can't due to the egg aka binding ingredient to keep it together. I called the Chilliwack Brgr Brgr and inquired if they are doing smashed burgers. I was told yes, I asked if I could l have a special made patty like a normal patty is suppose to be. I was told no problem they could cook one like they use to make. So the reason from the Abbotsford's location didn't add up. Great food and super friendly, knowledgeable staff. For those looking for GF options, they have a dedicated fryer for GF dishes and use GF panko for "breaded" items. Most of the ingredients in their burgers and other dishes are locally sourced. Great selection of craft beers too. I will definitely be back! read more

After eating here once last year my boyfriend requested Brgr Brgr for his birthday dinner because he remembered how good my chicken burger was. Genuinely the best burgers and chicken I've ever had. Yes the prices are somewhat high but I think they're reasonable for the quality of ingredients and taste. I don't think it's fair to compare the prices here to fast food prices as the quality is on two opposite ends of the spectrum. Couldn't stop talking about how good it was as we were eating.
