Nice little stripmall restaurant. We started with poutine. It's coated seasoned fries (I'm not a fan in general of those) topped with brown gravy and melted curds. It was tasty but just ok. The platters came out quickly. We paired them both with slaw which was sweet and refreshing and mash. The mash is tasteless and needs the gravy. The schnitzels tasted good but the meat was very thin and the breading was thick. You get two which was a pleasant surprise and necessary since the protein is on the thin side. Hubby had the Holstein with lots of extra protein of fried egg and bacon. I had the peppercorn gravy platter. Staff was attentive. read more

We searched for something different, and did Schnitzels deliver! I ordered the "Love Canadian Schitzel, my wife got the Schnitzel Champignon". Both of these were very good. Good flavor and didn't take very long for them to bring them to the table. The owner was our server, very friendly guy who told us the story of his restaurant. Soda is served from a can, so no refills. The restaurant has a classic diner feel to it. They had a tv on watching NHL playoff hockey. Definitely worth the stop! read more

Schnitzelz is a great little restaurant for breaded entrees. The interior has a whole vibe to it and the staff is friendly. They give realistic illustrations of the food they cook on their menu, and even have posters of them on the interior walls and outside window of their establishment. I had the Holstein Schnitzel with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The schnitzel is good and crunchy, and the egg and bacon topping tasted spectacular with the schnitzel. The mashed potatoes were delicious with the gravy included, and the coleslaw tasted fresh. The prices are very reasonable too for schnitzel. When I came back there for lunch, it was not as good as the first time, yet still satisfactory. I enjoyed the Schnitzel Burger with fries. The coffee was substandard and would not recommend ordering it. I also found out that they do not serve breakfast until January 20th of 2025. Schnitzelz is a great restaurant for dinner and those that enjoy different variations of schnitzels. read more

I was in Abbotsford for work and found this gem for lunch. I ordered the Hunter Schnitzel (you get 2) in a brown gravy with onions and mushrooms. The sides were fries and a bean salad. Food was delicious. The menu had several options for schnitzel's as well as burgers/sandwiches. The menu also should whey serve breakfast. Will definitely be back when I'm in town. We were in the mood for some schnitzel and happened to come across this little mom and pop shop while driving through Abbotsford. It certainly didn't look like much from the outside (or inside for that matter), but we were pleasantly surprised with the portion and taste of our pork schnitzel sandwiches and delicious french fries. read more

My husband is from Germany, and I lived there for about 5 years so we know good German food...and this is certainly it! We shared the Hunter Schnitzel (our all around go to for schnitzel) and it was plenty for both of us. The menu had a huge variety and I doubt any of the choices would have been bad. The restaurant was clean and spacious, and I would rather put my money in the food instead of atmosphere. The taste and value were beyond our expectations and if we are in Abbotsford again we will certainly stop here. Would absolutely recommend this place for everyone! read more

I remember when this place was open in aldergrove and when I found out they reopened in abby I went nuts. 10/10 best burgers I've ever had I can genuinely say I dream about it once a month. Meh.... portions were decent but I don't see what all the hype is about for this place. If your looking for authenticity go elsewhere. The mash potatoes and gravy were instant and the lasagna was no different than store bought. Garlic bread was a hamburger bun. Little disappointed. read more

Another little hole in the wall type place in a strip mall back always from the street. The very personable Indian owner ( there's a whole nuther story there LOL) that greeted us like family brought out our meals quickly. Started with the Goulash Soup and found it very very good. Rich broth loaded with meat, veggies, and potatoes! I love a good soup and this was great! Had the jeagerschnitzel for the main course and with two pieces that took up half the plate I ate one but had to take the second home in doggie bag. They were large, very tender on the inside crispy battering on the outside. Opted for the three bean salad for my side and topped it off with fries which were very good also. My mate opted for the jeager burger option and found it very good also. read more

Hubby and I didn't feel like cooking and wanted something different and better than fast food. We remembered this place from the Langley location and thought we'd try it out - we weren't disappointed! The pork schnitzel was tender and crispy, yumm. We both had the Jack burger and it was goopy, cheezy, crunchy - get extra napkins! The bun was a regular burger bun, would have preferred something more unique like whole wheat or sourdough, but the veggies were fresh and it was obviously homemade. The fries weren't homemade, but pretty good none-the-less. I would have salad next time. The owner was a delightfully enthusiastic foodie! We'll be back to try the butter chicken he's adding to the menu, imagine German schnitzel and Indian. We had a small sample and it's probably some of the best butter chicken sauce we've tried. Ordered here on a fluke while I was waiting for a car part that was being delivered to Lordco. One of the best veggie burgers I've ever had, along with the super crispy awesome fries. Was there on 29 October. the schnitzel was cooked well, nicely seasoned and nicely coated to be crunchy. Had Viennese Schnitzel. Appreciated being able to dine in. the accompanying coleslaw was perfect. if i can't get to Austria right now, this is definitely where i can go. look forward to trying other options read more

The food was good and the staff was extremely friendly but I am having a hard time getting past how dirty the entire place was. I should have turned around after going through the door and seeing how dirty it was (the door). Once we ordered, I went to the bathroom and it was filthy too. The place was deserted but all the table were not wiped off. With so many restaurants to choose from, I will no choose this one again. read more
