    Good value in our opinion.

Our first visit to this establishment under current ownership. We used to go in when our kids were young and playing at NTR, which is next door, but that would have been twenty years ago. We were greeted warmly at the door and presented our "papers" and sat quickly in the corner booth. We got our menu's and ordered waters which came quickly. We had been told by a friend that had been there that it was a bit pricey, but we felt the prices were pretty good. We ordered, myself the Corned beef hash, and the lovely K the Farmers hash. The food did not fly out of the kitchen, but it was far from slow. The food was plentiful and well cooked, and we thought it provided good value. We will for sure be going back!

I would say this is a great "family" style diner! The restaurant is quite big and they had lots of bigger tables so our family of 5 people was seated rather quickly. I thought wow, there's so much space here I bet there's room for several baby strollers and high chairs! It was around lunch/brunch time so we were able to order a variety of things. My brother got a burger and curly fries and he said it was super delicious! They give you a LOT of curly fries! (check out my photo!). I was in the mood for breakfast so I got the hash browns with bacon, eggs, and toast. I was happy to see they had butter and jam so that I could spread some on my toast. Simple things in life like spreading jam on toast give me so much joy okay! and re-fillable coffee! The staff were also very friendly and attentive. I think they might have all been family members! I really appreciate the relaxed family style vibe of this diner. If we're ever in the Langley area again for breakfast / brunch, I can see us coming back for sure!

I'm not sure about this place.

To be completely honest I didn't eat the food or even look over the menu. When we walked in the floor was so dirty I knew I couldn't eat there. The walls and floor and furniture were full of grime. ** that staff seemed super nice and the service was quick. They were both polite and efficient. Lots of space for private conversation. There was just one other table with guest. I liked the style of seating.

Two of their fantastic cups. Really puts a smile on.

Moved into the Langley area recently and this was one of the first places we tried since we love diner food. What a treat! Home made food and farm fresh stuff. You won't find anything like this in Vancouver. Another advantage of being in the valley. Love the coffee cups.

If you are looking for a home cooked meal, THIS is the place for you!! Awesome food, super fast service! Excellent Server!! The Sour Dough bread was awesome!! Burger was HUGE!! Breakfast was sooo filling!! My new favourite place to go to!

I stopped in Langley during a road trip visiting my parents and I was NOT disappointed. This place has that small town mom and pa breakfast diner and I LOVED it. With your breakfast there is three options of bread choices, white, brown and sour dough. There are no gluten free options for toast but an abundance of omelettes you can choose from. The coffee is wonderful especially when you're in need of that long drive coffee. Overall, loved the food, service and hometown ambience!!

Surprisingly, we were sat right away and our server came to take our drink orders quite quickly. All seemed to start well at this point. The place was bright and airy and they had a large menu to choose from. I ended up selecting the white grape drink, but had asked for light ice. The drinks took some time to arrive, but once they did, we noticed that my drink had so much ice in it that the ice was piled above the rim of the glass. My friends and myself were all surprised. I had to clarify with them if they heard me ask for light ice, to which they confirmed I had very clearly. We then called the server over and I reminded him kindly that I had asked for light ice, and asked if he might be able to bring one without any ice at all, if this is light. He was apologetic and said he would bring one shortly. Once he brought my drink, this time without ice as requested, he took our food order. I ordered the chicken croffle without cheese. Within 15 minutes all of my friends food orders had arrived except mine. My friends were adamant on waiting for mine to arrive before eating theirs, despite my objections. Additionally, they had all requested hot sauce for their meals and wanted to wait for that anyway. We ended up calling over the server at least twice to request the hot sauce on top of the first time, but didn't inquire about my meal yet as we all assumed that it maybe just took longer to cook. After another 15 minutes of waiting my friends called our server over and inquired as to where my order was along with the hot sauce. The server looked shocked and said he would be right back. We watched him return to the machine, double check the orders he had put through, and then run back to the kitchen. He promptly returned with my meal, which was now lukewarm after having sat in the kitchen for so long. We then again, asked him for hot sauce, which he went to get immediately and brought back to the table. While he was going to get the hot sauce, I noticed immediately that there was cheese throughout the dish and inquired with the server when he returned if that was in fact, cheese. He said yes and smiled. I reminded him that I had ordered the dish without cheese. He advised he would be right back and took the order with him. After a couple moments, he returned to advise they would have to remake the dish and asked if that was alright with me. I said yes, what else would I say at that point? After waiting another 5-7 minutes and watching my friends eat the majority of their meals (I insisted at this point that they stop waiting), my meal returned warm and correctly made. At this point, I could finally enjoy the delicious meal prepared in front of me. It truly was fantastic. The chicken was moist, the egg was perfectly boiled with a nice soft runny centre, and the croffle was crunchy and flavourful. I would absolutely order this item again. Although I felt the food here was definitely worth it, I would question returning unless I was certain it would be a quiet time for them as it seems the staff might have too much on their plates to keep up with demand. No part of my dining experience had gone as requested initially, and there were errors with my friends requests as well. The staff are very friendly, but unfortunately, the frequent errors and mistakes impacted our experience heavily. Of note, there was no change to our bill or any offer to make up for the numerous mistakes that were made, which was disappointing to all of us.

I'm not sure if there's a case but I like it, along with the kitsch-Ness here as a diner enthusiast. We went here for brunch and one my friends who's of Korean descent wanted to support them as is Korean owned yet offers the comfort diner food we know and love. I got the full croffle with strawberries & whipped cream which was a bit steep at $5 extra but it was good. The strawberries were plump and fresh. The actually croffles were soft, flaky and filling as it is a croissant-waffle. My friend got the crunch chicken Benedict which he shared with us and that chicken was so good. Very well-seasoned. Service was alright. We got the ol' overlapping service where one waitress gets our drink orders, and another comes for the same thing a minute later. There was also a little mix-up with orders but not a major deal. A nice diner spot that should we do brunch on a follow up visit, I'd go back.

This place is consistently solid. The food is always fresh, the portions are generous, and the staff are some of the friendliest around. Whether it's breakfast or lunch, I've never left disappointed. I usually get the omelette or eggs benny (both are top-tier), but everything I've tried hits the spot. Coffee's always hot, service is fast even when it's packed, and the place has that classic, no-frills, homey vibe that's harder and harder to find these days. It's one of those spots where you feel like they actually care -- about the food and the people. Just good energy all around. So yeah... consider this my official recommendation. Roadrunner's a gem.

However, they may not necessarily filled my tummy. There were some dishes of which the taste didn't come together cohesively. * Fish and Chips was recommended although fried fish was so bland. It could use some salt. * Chor Muang Flower Dumplings was very artistic but I couldn't tell the chicken from the pork dumpling nor the veggie dumpling. Peanuts were all I tasted in all 3 kinds of dumplings. * Siam Sliders: the idea of these sliders were perfect and executed well. * Fettuccine Scallop Pad Cha is the least on my list. Taste after taste and I am not sure if squid ink fettuccine was the right match for the ginger pad cha sauce. It didn't do justice to the sauce nor did the sauce do justice to the pasta. . * Sous Vide Thai Khao Soi Steak: this spicy Khao Soi sauce compliments the steak slices well. * Banoffee Crumble's coconut caramel sauce was a bit too sweet for me. * Coconut Crème Brûlée was a perfect end to dinner tonight. This is very very good with just enough sweetness that brings out the mild coconut meat. Love this! Loved the service. Our server was all smiles and very nice.

I thought it wouldn't take too long since there were only two of us, but I greatly underestimated how many people were ahead of us. Upon arrival, there were still about 20 people on the list ahead so we ended up waiting over an hour. When we were finally seated, service was reasonably quick. Coffee is about $4 for drip coffee and about $7 for a mocha. We ordered both the eggs benny with bacon and the Dutch baby bowl to share. I was impressed by the portion sizes, definitely a good spot to choose if you're hungry! I had to box up almost half of my food as I couldn't finish it all. The Dutch baby has sausage, bacon, eggs, potatoes and salad under the eggs, so it is quite a substantial meal. We both enjoyed all of the components to each dish, but for me, the bacon was absolutely perfect and my favourite thing on the plate. Thick cut, not overly fatty and had tons of flavour. I would absolutely order this again; I just wish there had been a bit more hollandaise. The server managed to always pop up at the right time for coffee and water refills, and was quick to bring the check when I asked for it. It was fairly loud in the dining room due to the number of people talking and eating, but not a deterrent to go back. I'd just try to join the wait list a bit earlier next time.

At first glance, the window paint is a bit odd, the entry crowded and cluttered, and the beverage cooler as soon as you walk in a bit confusing. Once we were told that table 3 by the window was sanitized, we sought out our spot to find the menu under the plastic protection sheet. I felt like I was at my Grandparents place and sitting on the couch, or walking up the stairs upon the carpet protection runner. The menu appeared to be quite strict with "no substitutions" everywhere. The four slices of bacon for the full breakfast appears to be generous, but the whole plate itself was underwhelming. Zero seasoning on anything provided a homogeneous taste. I was unable to discern any difference from the toast, the eggs, or frankly even the bacon..... it just all tasted the same. The lovely K's eggs were far from over easy, the bacon again plentiful, but tasteless, and the pancakes run of the mill. The Presidents Choice table syrup capped the entire experience off. The peanut butter and jam packets when creating a PBJ toast offering tasted like absolutely nothing. Basic food offering, but at $16 per plate for far from inspiring food, it's overpriced, in our opinion, not worth the money when there are so many better choices within walking distance. Three stars is generous because the food was cooked to the point that it wasn't dangerous to anyone.
