We ordered: - Honey bacon Benedict with potato wedges - the eggs Benny was delicious but I didn't like that it was a thick cut of semi-soft bacon on the side and not crispy bacon. My friend highly recommended Delphi cafe because it is one of her favourite brunch places. It's located in Langley and is a small brunch spot. They have multiple seating areas but I wouldn't say it's a good place for a big crowd. We went there on a Sunday afternoon and were able to secure a table for 3 people within 15mins. To start off, I tried their mango fruit soda which was so refreshing and not too sweet. I would give it a 5/5! I also got their crispy shrimp burger (couldn't find it on their online menu) but it was SO good!! The patty was definitely crispy and the sauces in their made the taste so much better. My only complaint was that the buns were a bit too small for the patty so it was pretty messy eating it. I got it with a side of truffle fries which were also very good! They were thick, yet crispy. Delphi Café is a marvelous establishment that made me glad I made the trip to Langley to try. For those that want to try this local business, I should warn you that there is a waiting period, where you have to keep your name in line. However, it is worth it. When I was seated, I ordered the Smoked Duck Breast Benedict and coffee. The benedict was great overall. The duck meat was exceptionally good if not a little chewy while the honey mustard helped add a vibrant flavour to the entrée. The hashbrowns were solid good and crunchy. The side of fruit were very fresh and juicy to eat. The coffee was great and I saw myself having a second cup. The establishment was mildly lit and clean; aspects I usually like in a restaurant. The service was excellent. I received my food what only seemed like minutes after ordering, and the servers were very perceptive to my needs. Super busy small cafe in Langley. The staff is very sweet and friendly. The food was out of the ordinary and blew my expectations. Absolutely delicious. However, their hollandaise sauce is so mustardy that u WILL have burning sensation in your stomach after a few hours. So either pass the sauce or I had a glass of Indian buttermilk to help me ease the heat & mind you I am a spicy (very hot) eater. Will I go back? Maybe not sure. This is always my go to Brunch spot when I head to Langley. It is very causal, relax and down to earth. The staff are efficient, polite and always greet with a smile. The place is always with a waitlist of guests coming in. So make sure you are there early. Potion of food is great. Unfortunately I only taken few photos but all look and tasted amazing! We gotten the Japanese Omurice and Pork ribs Benedict. The Omurice was phenomenal. Savory yet not salty. The added hot dogs adds a great amount of texture and flavor. The pork ribs Benedict was tender and falls right off the bone. The egg Benedict was a bit too buttery for my liking but it's overall a great dish nonetheless. SERVICE The service here is fantastic as well. As a tourist visiting from the states. Run, don't walk, to this place! LOVED our food and the staff were friendly. We waited for 40mins as it was a Sunday, but we didn't mind. Make sure to call ahead and find out the wait time because they'll be busy on a weekend for sure. It's a small place but they have a long table in the middle to accommodate large groups. The waiters were extremely tentative and friendly as well. Already a bonus right there! My friend has been here several times & would order the fried chicken bennies every single time-- it's that good! I got the fried chicken pancakes. It wasn't what I had expected. Instead of the normal fried chicken you'd expect for brunch, it reminds me of Korean yangnyeom chicken. The taste of the chicken and the pancakes were good on their own, but I wasn't quite feeling it as a combination. There were three pancakes stacked together and it was quite heavy. The proportion of chicken to pancake was a little off-- it didn't bother me though, I just had a hard time finishing everything. I think if the pancakes were less thick (maybe it's just their style??), it's be a better combo with the chicken. I also got a yuzu latte, and it's what you'd expect. But because it was so simple, it hit the spot and my sweet tooth at the same time!! It's a cute little cafe with lots of locals visiting there. We got there around 12:30pm on a Saturday, and put the name on the waiting list. The wait was around 30 - 40 minutes, which was pretty long in my opinion. However, it's understandable giving it's a brunch place on a weekend, it gets busy as predicted. Once we sat down, the waiter brought us the menu. They have a variety of options, not only breakfast but also lunch options. I ordered a coffee latte, which came pretty quick. The temperature was just right, and the leaf art on the foam was very pretty. I had eggs already for breakfast, so I picked the spicy Philly cheese steak with side salad for lunch. The portion is pretty big, and the sandwich tasted great, not too greasy, with the right amount of cheese and beef. I was surprised by how spicy it was. Honestly, I'm on the fence about this place. My tastebuds have an acquired pallette and although I'm super picky I can appreciate a great brunch experience--unfortunately Delphi cafe falls short. Your eyes will feast on the super size portions, but the food lacks flavour. Theirs no seasoning on the fried chicken, it's just bland. The pancakes are reAlly fluffy and tastes eggy. They absorb any syrup because their giant sponge cakes. I had to ask for syrup just to give me something to balance the dryness. They need sauces. Lots of flavour and that extra something to marry the mains. I would have loved some mango, peach or raspberry puree to compliment the dry loafs. I ordered the protein pancakes but didn't like the flavour and felt full after only a few small bites. Our neighbour sitting adjacent to us received their order--fried chicken & pancakes and it was massive so we highly anticipated out order but the lacklustre flavours disappointed . The bacon was fatty and lacking that Smokey burnt vibe. Two slabs of fat--chewy and rubbery and oily. Theirs nothing interesting about the flavour. It could have had some smoke or charred flavour. Great Experience! We took some family here for brunch. I was a bit worried about wait time but it wasn't bad at all, 20 minutes for 4 people on a Sunday morning. They took the time to check our vaccine passports. It was all our first time here, Im rarely in this area and it was a great little surprise. Quirky and fun little eatery with a Greek entrance and main stream menu. Make sure to order the Yuzu lemon tea made from zest not tea leaves. It is sweet and soothing. They have the largest selection of eggs Benedict options I've ever seen. My husband loved his Eggs Benedict with honey bacon (Canadian bacon/ham). We will drive to Langley from Burnaby for brunch at Delphi Brunch Cafe. Been coming here often since we first discovered this place in the Summer of 2021. This place definitely reminded me of Jam Cafe with a Korean twist. They have a wide variety of menu items from your typical brunch food of bennies as well as Asian fusion stuff like omurice. We've tried their bennies, french toast, burgers, omurice, loco moco to name a few. All dishes were delicious and prepared well. Pricing is fair too and portions are a bit on the bigger side. Their drink menu is great too -- I love their fruit black teas as I've tried all three (mango, peach or lemon) while my hubby loves their iced coffee with coffee cubes. What a great little breakfast place . I had never heard of Delphi and went on a recommendation from Yelp while meeting girlfriends for breakfast. Showed up at 8:55 Saturday to a big line up of people already qued prior to opening . Great eggs Benny you can not go wrong , but be warned they are HUGE . It's located behind Canadian Tire and same plaza as Sushi California so it's easy to find, free parking in the plaza so that was convenient. I would say it's safe to say it's Korean owned according to the conversations spoken in Korean among staffs. Anyways, here were the food we ordered; 1. Rose tea latte. Nice flavour and aroma of the rose. Very refreshing to start the day with. 2. Fried chicken Benedict. Very generous portion but the chicken was surprising a bit dried, that's quite usual for Korean fried chicken. 3. Side of smoked salmon. Pretty good and generous portion for just $5 4. Delphi farmer's plate. The ham and sausage patty was moist, but the bacon was a bit chewy. And the smashed potatos could uses bit of more love. It's a nice little place to grab breakfast or brunch if you are into the generous portion style. But as for my personal taste, the food quality needed a little more attention and improvement. You are able to put your name down on a list and then will call you when your turn is up. Food arrived very quickly and the staff are very efficient with turnaround time. When one of my fiance's friends mentioned this cafe, I was intrigued. A restaurant in the suburbs that had caught the attention of his foodie friend? I'm in! I quickly recruited my mother for a last minute brunch date and counted my lucky stars she didn't chew me out (seriously, I gave my poor mother only ten minutes notice to get ready). Located in a newer strip mall a short drive from Willowbrook, parking was relatively easy to find even after the cafe converted two or three parking stalls into an outdoor dining area. We had to sign in (I suspect this could also double over for any necessary contact tracing) and told we would be called when our table was ready, an estimate of 15 minutes; we only waited 10 minutes, tops. Bonus! Delphi offers a generous selection of breakfast/lunch fare (one side of the menu for each). Feeling a craving for brunch, I quickly zeroed on the Eggs Benny's. This place has some of the most unique Eggs Benny options (in half and full portions) in my recent memory. In addition to the more standard ham, veggie, or bacon bennys, I also saw cured salmon, smoked salmon, shrimp, fried chicken, filet-o-fish and squid! While my mother chose the Crab Cake Benedict, I instantly opted for the Squid, pairing both with marble potatoes and Hollandaise sauce by the side (fruit included). Just before the server set our plates done, one of the poached eggs on my order decided to roll off the squid patty and do a cute little plop into the small jar of Hollaindaise sauce. She stood there in slight mortification as I tried to fish out the egg without breaking it (almost succeeded). I had to assure her multiple times it was okay, I didn't mind having Hollaindaise sauce, I just usually ask for it on the side so I can figure out how much or little sauce I want. If anyone happens to know her...please tell her honestly, it was OK! A generously portioned meal, the squid, dill, tomatoes, etc were all diced together and pressed into a patty (for some reason I pictured calamari on top of an English muffin) making the result DELICIOUS and interestingly paired with a slice of kiwi, grapefruit, and pineapple. Not my first thoughts whenever I read fruit plate, but was glad for the hint of exotic. A close second on the deliciousness scale were the marble potatoes. Portion sizes impressed me again: I was expecting little nugget potatoes and instead found myself looking at cue ball sized fried-to-french-fries-like potato perfection. The only thing that kept me from devouring all my marble potatoes AND those on my mother's plate was the fact my stomach was already satiated from finishing the Squid Benedict (and even then my willpower barely won out). I wasn't quite sure who our waitress was, but only because everyone there seemed to be working like a team. The person that took our order was different from the person that served the food, and multiple individuals asked us how we were finding the food throughout our meal. There was no individualistic sense, no hint of "I'm not your server, please ask them" which in hindsight I really appreciated. I've heard amazing things about Delphi and it was a short drive away so I HAD to try it! Went on a Sunday morning, had to wait about 30 mins but they got us in pretty quickly! The mimosas were mostly OJ, which was disappointing! The food however definitely made up for it! The omelette was huge, I got it without mushrooms, but it was still very filling and really flavourful! The bread was kind of stale or just dry so I didn't eat it, but the omelette was so filling with the potatoes under that it didn't even matter. My friend got the breakfast BLT and she was obsessed with it! French toast as the bread with all the breakfast classics inside, including thick cut bacon? Sign us up! Visited last weekend because of so many positive reviews on Yelp. Cute ambience, amazing service and very friendly staff. Portion sizes were on the leaner side. Restaurant was super busy on a Saturday morning, and since tables are very close together, it was loud. Food was ok. Everything sounded really good on the menu and I ordered the orange jam French toast with Singaporean milk custard. It looked very appetizing on the plate but tasted bland and definitely lacked the orange/coconut flavours I was expecting. There was no jam in sight, and no condensed milk on top. The honey glazed bacon was a tiny serving of mostly fatty ham. Husband said his choice of the Farmer's Plate was tasty but kind of ordinary. And expensive for $19. One of the best brunch places in langley. Very conveniently located and have good parking space. Regular hours are 7 days a week 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Its just a year or two year old cafe but have good clientele on regular basis. They deserve that as the chef who cooks food has magic in his hands. I mean , i have been to other places that serve great food but here it was more then just cooking. I felt the passion in creating the "delphi omlete " which was so good and full that I couldn't finish it all. Lavender coffee latte was fragrant and tasty n hot at the right temperature. My friend ordered house made vegetarian burger which was great otherwise except the patty ( which seemed to be made out of bean paste ) was not flavour full. It was fried so the taste kind of burnt . He was glad that it was not the regular costco patty atleast. I think they could have done better with the vegetarian patty. This place has all sorts of benedicts and french toast. There are salads and soups as well but we didn't tasted them. The interior of the cafe is well structured and good. Would be goong back for more soon. We drove a long way, family was caught up in traffic, and they were 20 minutes behind us. We asked to be seated and they said they would not see this until the whole party was seated. Store policy. The service was the best part here - very friendly! They seated us right away and were very attentive. Unfortunately the food was what was lacking. On the whole menu they only had 1 vegetarian option which was a veggie burger. Since I wasn't in the mood for a burger I asked if I could have the chicken panini but swap the chicken for either avocado or an egg, thinking this would be no problem since usually any meat item is more expensive than veggies/eggs so restaurants are typically happy to do the swap. However, I was told that the swap could happen (avocado in place of eggs) but for an extra surcharge which was really off putting. I decided to go with it anyways, hoping for a delicious panini! The panini was very average and I didn't enjoy the fries on the side either. My partner ordered the Delphi burger with bacon and enjoyed it though so I'm guessing this is a better spot for meat-eaters! As for ambiance, it is a cute spot and they have good COVID-19 measures in place which was really nice! A nice small family run brunch place in Langley. I'm not in Langley too often so this was a great find. I'm not sure when they opened but when I attempted to add their location to an Instagram post, but Instagram couldn't find it. They do have an Instagram account. I ordered the cured salmon benedict with hash browns. The cured salmon was delicious and fresh. The egg yolk was just right: a nice slow runny yolk that didn't just go all over the place and not overdone that it tasted chalky. The hash brown was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. I was surprised it wasn't that busy but I guess it's still new. The staff was attentive and pleasant to talk to. The decor is simple and a bit rustic. It felt like a brunch place.
