    Paul wants it all
    Poonam S.

We've never been here before so decided to try it out for brunch. It took a while for our food to arrive. They were extremely busy. We ordered one "Paul wants it all" and one omelette. Total cost = $47 for two people with tip. Each plate was about $17 and excluded coffee. You gotta pay for coffee separately so when you do the math, it can be quite a pricy option but that does not seem to deter people. We didn't really enjoy the food but I am generously giving them a 2 star because the waitress was nice. The pancake was dry and dense. The omelette was dry and packed with so much ingredients that I found it hard to taste the eggs. The service was OK. Nothing special about this place for us but if you love huge portions and love a heavy breakfast or brunch, this place is definitely for you to check out.

Brutal brutal brutal ! Avoid this place like the plague. Staff are dumb as a stump, horrible service and ridiculous prices. If your meal is awful and they don't bring you what you ordered they will still charge you. Would rather eat leftovers out of a garbage can than come back to this location, worst dining experience of my life and the stupid server just made it 100x worse than it should've been.

It is packed at this location on a Saturday morning. Holy! Food was delicious. Had the spinach and cheddar crepe with a blueberry smoothie. The crepe was massive and I couldn't finish it all but tasty nonetheless. The server was a bit slow but understandable as it was slammed.

Haven't gone to a traditional breakfast place in years. Tried Cora for the first time and was impressed with the selection of healthy, fresh fruit options. Decor looked childish, from the '80s. Good service. Long line up on a weekend morning. Lots of parking.

Well, I found a hair in my breakfast so that's how I'll start off my review. I took it out and went a long eating my meal but didn't have much of an appetite after that. The poached eggs were very watery. The potatoes were crunchy but I felt like this was another IHOP but local. The crepe did not taste fresh at all it was rubbery and hard to cut. I'm not sure if it was a previously frozen crepe or not. My fault for choosing this place over the other places I wanted to try.

Stopped in for breakfast on our way back home to the states. Food was good, I think in my opinion the food on the site looks better than it actually tastes. I had the french toast with a mountain of fruit on the side. My french toast was delicious, the fruit on the other hand wasn't the best quality. The kiwi's were pretty mushy, which is a disappointment because that's one of my favorite fruits. I can also tell they don't use high quality food. My daughter had bacon with her meal and it was that thin, wimpy like bacon, not thick cut. You know, the good stuff. It was cheap. Also, the breakfast potatoes could have been cooked longer and crispy. Staff was nice, our waitress was very attentive and checked on us. The prices were pretty fair to the amount of food you get so no complaints there. The inside was very well kept and clean, didn't use the restroom so can't attest to that but i'd definitely come back if i was ever in town again!

If you think the line for Denny's or IHOP is long on Sunday morning, wait till you go to Cora. Now generally I'd go to the Cora in Coquitlam as I live about a minute a way from it, but today I was meeting a friend from Chilliwack who had never been so we decided to meet half way. Me being the keener than I am, arrived about 15 minutes earlier than our planned time to see get a table. Ended up waiting about 40 minutes to get a table and low and behold my friend was still 10 minutes late after that point. No worries though, the host was super friendly so we chatted and he also offered me some maple fudge which I oh so kindly accepted. The one thing that keeps me coming back to Cora regardless of the long waits is the fresh fruits and smoothies they offer along with the wonderful staff that super nice and helpful when you have no idea what to order. I went for one of their specials which came with eggs, bacon and of course tatoes covered in cheese and fried onions(gosh my mouth is watering just typing that out). Coffee on the side of course and out lovely waitress never let my cup go empty. If I'm in the are next time I'd be happy to re-visit.

The canadian version of dennys. Very friendly waitress, good service. Food was okay, jeana found a hair In hers.. I had the cheese omlete burger.. I tried a few bites that way, then pulled the omelet out and ate it as 2 items.. burger was dry but okay, omlete was pretty good.

This is the better version of Denny's. A little more gourmet and seems like a little more care's been put into the food. I would recommend for late night eats or hungover brunches!

Whenever i think of CORA'S , i feel elated. Its becoz of the freshness in the food and lively decor . The seats are wooden but they hav few tables with comfy sofa chairs . As its a family place so there is a facility of baby chair n baby changing room. Washrooms are clean. Its open from 7-3 pm so they serve breakfast n lunch n of course all sorts of fresh juices , tea , hot chocolate n coffee. Also offer kids menu for under 12 which is healthy n nicely served that kids would be drawn towards that. Whenever i go there i try a new thing. Their waffles are the best. French toast n spinach n cheddar crepe is a lovely option for vegetarians. Every serving comes with some fruits n vegetables that makes it look so good to start eating right away n once u start , u never want it to finish. Great variety in omelettes like goat cheese , tomatoes n bacon omelette which is heavy breakfast but then u are good for the day. I love the way they serve their tea. If u are new to vancouver or if u hav some guest over ... Treat them here n they will love u more.

New early bird menu - tomato, bacon and green onion omelette

I come in every now and then for the early bird breakfast. It's pretty nice and they recently updated the menu. The staff is attentive and always come by to check on me. I've got the tomato, bacon and green onion omelette and it was terrific! My only complain is that my toast was a bit burned and it has happened quite a few times..

Surprisingly, we were sat right away and our server came to take our drink orders quite quickly. All seemed to start well at this point. The place was bright and airy and they had a large menu to choose from. I ended up selecting the white grape drink, but had asked for light ice. The drinks took some time to arrive, but once they did, we noticed that my drink had so much ice in it that the ice was piled above the rim of the glass. My friends and myself were all surprised. I had to clarify with them if they heard me ask for light ice, to which they confirmed I had very clearly. We then called the server over and I reminded him kindly that I had asked for light ice, and asked if he might be able to bring one without any ice at all, if this is light. He was apologetic and said he would bring one shortly. Once he brought my drink, this time without ice as requested, he took our food order. I ordered the chicken croffle without cheese. Within 15 minutes all of my friends food orders had arrived except mine. My friends were adamant on waiting for mine to arrive before eating theirs, despite my objections. Additionally, they had all requested hot sauce for their meals and wanted to wait for that anyway. We ended up calling over the server at least twice to request the hot sauce on top of the first time, but didn't inquire about my meal yet as we all assumed that it maybe just took longer to cook. After another 15 minutes of waiting my friends called our server over and inquired as to where my order was along with the hot sauce. The server looked shocked and said he would be right back. We watched him return to the machine, double check the orders he had put through, and then run back to the kitchen. He promptly returned with my meal, which was now lukewarm after having sat in the kitchen for so long. We then again, asked him for hot sauce, which he went to get immediately and brought back to the table. While he was going to get the hot sauce, I noticed immediately that there was cheese throughout the dish and inquired with the server when he returned if that was in fact, cheese. He said yes and smiled. I reminded him that I had ordered the dish without cheese. He advised he would be right back and took the order with him. After a couple moments, he returned to advise they would have to remake the dish and asked if that was alright with me. I said yes, what else would I say at that point? After waiting another 5-7 minutes and watching my friends eat the majority of their meals (I insisted at this point that they stop waiting), my meal returned warm and correctly made. At this point, I could finally enjoy the delicious meal prepared in front of me. It truly was fantastic. The chicken was moist, the egg was perfectly boiled with a nice soft runny centre, and the croffle was crunchy and flavourful. I would absolutely order this item again. Although I felt the food here was definitely worth it, I would question returning unless I was certain it would be a quiet time for them as it seems the staff might have too much on their plates to keep up with demand. No part of my dining experience had gone as requested initially, and there were errors with my friends requests as well. The staff are very friendly, but unfortunately, the frequent errors and mistakes impacted our experience heavily. Of note, there was no change to our bill or any offer to make up for the numerous mistakes that were made, which was disappointing to all of us.

I got the full croffle with strawberries & whipped cream which was a bit steep at $5 extra but it was good. The strawberries were plump and fresh. The actually croffles were soft, flaky and filling as it is a croissant-waffle. My friend got the crunch chicken Benedict which he shared with us and that chicken was so good. Very well-seasoned. Service was alright. We got the ol' overlapping service where one waitress gets our drink orders, and another comes for the same thing a minute later. There was also a little mix-up with orders but not a major deal. A nice diner spot that should we do brunch on a follow up visit, I'd go back.

It didn't do justice to the sauce nor did the sauce do justice to the pasta. . * Sous Vide Thai Khao Soi Steak: this spicy Khao Soi sauce compliments the steak slices well. * Banoffee Crumble's coconut caramel sauce was a bit too sweet for me. * Coconut Crème Brûlée was a perfect end to dinner tonight. I thought it wouldn't take too long since there were only two of us, but I greatly underestimated how many people were ahead of us. Upon arrival, there were still about 20 people on the list ahead so we ended up waiting over an hour. When we were finally seated, service was reasonably quick. Coffee is about $4 for drip coffee and about $7 for a mocha. We ordered both the eggs benny with bacon and the Dutch baby bowl to share. I was impressed by the portion sizes, definitely a good spot to choose if you're hungry! I had to box up almost half of my food as I couldn't finish it all. The Dutch baby has sausage, bacon, eggs, potatoes and salad under the eggs, so it is quite a substantial meal. We both enjoyed all of the components to each dish, but for me, the bacon was absolutely perfect and my favourite thing on the plate. Thick cut, not overly fatty and had tons of flavour. I would absolutely order this again; I just wish there had been a bit more hollandaise. The server managed to always pop up at the right time for coffee and water refills, and was quick to bring the check when I asked for it. It was fairly loud in the dining room due to the number of people talking and eating, but not a deterrent to go back. I'd just try to join the wait list a bit earlier next time.
