Straight up. Getting a tire repair within walking distance on a shit and rainy Monday morning at 10 AM. We've been there once before and we're not wow'd. I'm killing an hour or so, ordered the basic bacon and eggs with ice water, no coffee or tea. Under $18 prior to tax. Good value in today's Fraser Valley. My server was great, more engaging early on, but got busy and did a great job of hosting all of the tables and their needs. Ambiance? It's a Cora, no surprise here at all. The food was honest, eggs cooked well sunny up, the mixed potatoes (sweet potato reg mix) was good if a bit on the dry side. The four pieces of bacon, albeit thin and small were well cooked (crispy) and the toast good sized, and buttered. We went here for crepe fest and was served with undercooked sticky crepes! It was supposed to be all you can eat but they would not give us fresh crepes when we asked for new ones that were cooked. What we had was a sticky disgusting mess. The waitress was the one who suggested we get fresh ones but we could hear the chef yelling no! We've never been here before so decided to try it out for brunch. It took a while for our food to arrive. They were extremely busy. We ordered one "Paul wants it all" and one omelette. Total cost = $47 for two people with tip. Each plate was about $17 and excluded coffee. You gotta pay for coffee separately so when you do the math, it can be quite a pricy option but that does not seem to deter people. We didn't really enjoy the food but I am generously giving them a 2 star because the waitress was nice. The pancake was dry and dense. The omelette was dry and packed with so much ingredients that I found it hard to taste the eggs. The service was OK. Nothing special about this place for us but if you love huge portions and love a heavy breakfast or brunch, this place is definitely for you to check out. read more

I didn't actually get to eat here but it was a horrible customer service experience. I called to make reservations, they said they weren't needed as it was wasn't busy. I came into the VERY BUSY restaurant, and waited 10 min just for someone to put my name on the wait list. The waiting area is so small & disorganized that I was hit with the door many times. After waiting 15 more minutes with no one even looking at the growing line, I left. I won't be back to try the food. read more

First time at this restaurant and found it disappointing. Service from the kitchen was very slow, it took a long time just for the staff to take our order. I ordered the spinach cheddar crepe that I found to be rubbery with very little flavour and a small portion for the price. Well, I found a hair in my breakfast so that's how I'll start off my review. I took it out and went a long eating my meal but didn't have much of an appetite after that. The poached eggs were very watery. The potatoes were crunchy but I felt like this was another IHOP but local. The crepe did not taste fresh at all it was rubbery and hard to cut. I'm not sure if it was a previously frozen crepe or not. My fault for choosing this place over the other places I wanted to try. read more

Stopped in for breakfast on our way back home to the states. Food was good, I think in my opinion the food on the site looks better than it actually tastes. I had the french toast with a mountain of fruit on the side. My french toast was delicious, the fruit on the other hand wasn't the best quality. The kiwi's were pretty mushy, which is a disappointment because that's one of my favorite fruits. I can also tell they don't use high quality food. My daughter had bacon with her meal and it was that thin, wimpy like bacon, not thick cut. You know, the good stuff. It was cheap. Also, the breakfast potatoes could have been cooked longer and crispy. Staff was nice, our waitress was very attentive and checked on us. The prices were pretty fair to the amount of food you get so no complaints there. The inside was very well kept and clean, didn't use the restroom so can't attest to that but i'd definitely come back if i was ever in town again! read more

If you think the line for Denny's or IHOP is long on Sunday morning, wait till you go to Cora. Now generally I'd go to the Cora in Coquitlam as I live about a minute a way from it, but today I was meeting a friend from Chilliwack who had never been so we decided to meet half way. Me being the keener than I am, arrived about 15 minutes earlier than our planned time to see get a table. Ended up waiting about 40 minutes to get a table and low and behold my friend was still 10 minutes late after that point. No worries though, the host was super friendly so we chatted and he also offered me some maple fudge which I oh so kindly accepted. The one thing that keeps me coming back to Cora regardless of the long waits is the fresh fruits and smoothies they offer along with the wonderful staff that super nice and helpful when you have no idea what to order. I went for one of their specials which came with eggs, bacon and of course tatoes covered in cheese and fried onions(gosh my mouth is watering just typing that out). Coffee on the side of course and out lovely waitress never let my cup go empty. If I'm in the are next time I'd be happy to re-visit. read more

Whenever i think of CORA'S , i feel elated. Its becoz of the freshness in the food and lively decor . The seats are wooden but they hav few tables with comfy sofa chairs . As its a family place so there is a facility of baby chair n baby changing room. Washrooms are clean. Its open from 7-3 pm so they serve breakfast n lunch n of course all sorts of fresh juices , tea , hot chocolate n coffee. Also offer kids menu for under 12 which is healthy n nicely served that kids would be drawn towards that. Whenever i go there i try a new thing. Their waffles are the best. French toast n spinach n cheddar crepe is a lovely option for vegetarians. Every serving comes with some fruits n vegetables that makes it look so good to start eating right away n once u start , u never want it to finish. Great variety in omelettes like goat cheese , tomatoes n bacon omelette which is heavy breakfast but then u are good for the day. I love the way they serve their tea. This review is just for their service. I arrived at this Cora location, and I saw that it was a bit busy. No worries, I'm glad for this place to be busy during the pandemic! So I popped in, I just wanted to ask how much of a wait it would be. Unfortunately the front desk was not manned, and I did not see a hostess. It seemed like the wait staff were doing double duty by showing patrons to their tables and waiting as well. Well, this makes them busy and they can't keep up with the front, it seems. I've been here a few times and was never really impressed, but for some reason my wife likes it. So I keep going back, but yesterday's breakfast might change that. The table was very sticky and had to be cleaned and reset after we already sat down. Server didn't try to accommodate my order by checking with kitchen or check-in to see if there was something else I wanted until everyone's food was already on the table - by then it was too late (toddlers already getting restless). I used to like this location but one occasion, I found egg shells in my eggs. They still charged me for them and gave us coupons for free fruit cocktails on our next visit with a minimum $7.00 purchase. When we came again, the cocktails were actually beverages (we thought it would be like a fruit salad) that were tasteless and small tiny portion. They bill you for them anyway, then you have to explain and present the dumb coupon when paying so that they will take the cocktails off the bill. Service recovery procedure sucks big time! Portions have gotten dinkier and dinkier each time. At the end of the day, there are many other breakfast joints nearby that we can go to instead and we will not return anytime soon. read more

I took my daughter there for breakfast a few weeks ago. I have it one star because the waitress was nice, but obviously overwhelmed with the morning rush. I ordered the ham eggs benny and my daughter ordered an omelette. It was definitely not what I expected for the amount of money they charge for the breakfast. Took half an hour from the time we were seated to the time we received our coffees. Then came our breakfast 15 minutes later. Both of our hash brown potatoes were undercooked. The potatoes were still white, no colour whatsoever. My eggs benny.... well, the ham tasted more like a slice of cheap lunchmeat bologna. The eggs were watery and the sauce was basically a jelly and not well seasoned at all. My daughter's toast were burnt. This was honestly the worst $50 I've spent on a breakfast in forever. Like I've said, pretty tough to get a five from me. Cora gets a solid four though. I've been to both Langley and Coquitlam. Both do a very good job getting you in, fed and out without feeling rushed. I have sampled plenty off the menu and it has all been very good. Service is extremely good. Be careful with subbing and juices as they are expensive. Coffee isn't cheap but refill as much as you like for free. Just a good all round place for a breakfast, any time. read more
