A nice small family run brunch place in Langley. I'm not in Langley too often so this was a great find. I'm not sure when they opened but when I attempted to add their location to an Instagram post, but Instagram couldn't find it. They do have an Instagram account. I ordered the cured salmon benedict with hash browns. The cured salmon was delicious and fresh. The egg yolk was just right: a nice slow runny yolk that didn't just go all over the place and not overdone that it tasted chalky. The hash brown was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. I was surprised it wasn't that busy but I guess it's still new. The staff was attentive and pleasant to talk to. The decor is simple and a bit rustic. It felt like a brunch place. I would definitely recommend this place if you're by Willowbrook and want a nice brunch. read more

What a great find! I was looking for a place to have brunch with my family and saw this place on Yelp. Really enjoyed the food and service here. Our server took our order for 4 people without writing anything down and everything everything came up right. There's an Asian touch to the food and the food they serve, it's a great fusion of west meeting the Far East. The portions are also huge. I couldn't eat everything. Had a side order of pancakes thinking they would be regular ones but when they came up they were huge and fluffy, so tasty! Food was delicious! Ordered the shrimp tacos and they were amazing everything I wanted and more. Other people in my party ordered their benefits and loved them too. Their Caesar's (Bloody Mary) was extremely yummy. Service was impeccable! Extremely friendly and attentive always made sure our waters were filled and even gave the kiddos little plates and cups to use. Ambiance was nice it was extremely busy and buzzing with people but it wasn't rowdy or anything they still ensured we were taken care of. Perfect place for brunch! read more

Good place for breakfast in you're in Langley. My family was in Langley for a wedding, we were pretty disappointed in most of the places we ate. But Delphi was a pleasant surprise. There is a wait. So plan for that. We arrived around 10:30am on a Sunday and waited for about 40 minutes. When we arrived there were other guests waiting who assured us that the food is worth the wait. This place has loyal customers. Once we were seated the waiter was helpful and gave good suggestions. He told us about the huge portion sizes, but we didn't believe him-- we should have believed him! Lol we ordered so much food. The portion sizes are HUGE. Definitely worth the cost. The flavors are also pretty good. We weren't a fan of the fried chicken. And the pancakes had chopped onions on top of them. It's not a deal breaker, but was unexpected. We got pretty standard entrées- French toast, pancakes, sausage, omelette. Wish we tried one of their signature eggs benedicts. I would definitely come back if I'm ever in Langley again. read more

My partner and I are eggs benedict connoisseurs if you will and enjoyed what they had to offer! I will admit, it wasn't the best I've had. Here's the breakdown: Avocado Eggs Benedict -- I ordered this dish! It had lovely flavours and the poached eggs were both places in the hole of half an avocado, so an entire avocado altogether! Which amazes me especially because it was so cheap. However, the eggs were slightly overdone and the amount of hollandaise given was lacking. I like to dip my potatoes in whatever remains from the hollandaise and the yolk but i had to order some extra hollandaise just to do that! :( (They didnt charge me for extra tho which was great!) And the topping was very little, literally 3 tiny pieces of diced tomato. I expected more but I hate being too picky about these things! (but let's be real, i'm a full on Karen when it comes to my eggs benny ) Hot Chocolate -- Very average, nothing stood out about this drink! But tasteful nonetheless Smoked Salmon & Guac Benny - My partner LOVED this combo. He said it was some of the best smoked salmon he has had in awhile. Was meeting a friend for breakfast, did a little research, and came across Delhi Cafe in Langley. As usual, I check restaurant inspection reports and reviews on various sites, so I thought let's try it. Arrived around 09:30, place was busy, and were seated right away. We were seated at an open concept table, and had enough space from the next party. The staff were pleasant. I ordered a tea and my friend a coffee; they asked my friend if he wanted a refill on his coffee, although they didn't ask if I wanted some more water for my tea, a little disappointment. I ordered the half chicken Benny with roasted potatoes and my friend an omelette, which he opted to have the items taken off, so we won't review his breakfast. The half chicken Benny was a very good portion, considering today's economy. I regret not ordering the full; no big deal, as I will do that next time I go. The roasted potatoes were delicious, with ketchup, which is a treat for me as I do not buy ketchup. The presentation of the plate was nice; I should have taken a picture; I was too busy conversing with my friend. Will I go back definitely, as I want the full chicken Benny? As I said above, I read the reviews, and a so-called food blogger, Lily Cui (https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/115157774925841921288/reviews?hl=en-US) on Google states, "It is somewhat difficult to find parking." Is she kidding, there is tons of parking? Also, she also states, "This is an open kitchen, and the smell of oil smoke is everywhere. After I returned to the car, the smell of oil smoke was still on my clothes." I don't know where she gets this from, me being a fussy person didn't note this at all, so maybe she is confusing her review with another establishment. So if you are reading reviews take hers with a grain of salt, she post's a lot of negative reviews of other establishment's. This has become my new favorite brunch restaurant in the langley area. Every dish is made to order and is super fresh and absolutely delicious. My favorite plate here is the, of course, the traditional benny. Thick slice Ham and perfectly toasted English Muffin and a perfect hollandaise sauce. I thought that would have been my brunch meal but then...wait for it...I saw fried chicken on the menu as a side dish. I had to order that as with my love for fried chicken. This is a cute new brunch place in Langley! Reminded me of Jam Cafe a bit! There was a bit of a wait but the staff was super efficient and got us seated with our beverages within 5-10 mins! We decided to order the Eggs Benny with the Honey Bacon and the French Toast. We always split so that we can try both things! I thought the French Toast was super tasty with the orange and custard! The bacon was a little under cooked for our liking...I don't enjoy bacon unless the fat has rendered down...it had pretty good flavour though...the smoked flavours really came through. The Eggs Benny was quite tasty...but served just barely warm...by the time we got to the second muffin it was cold. We also asked for the eggs on the side...but they served them right on the muffin. I don't eat eggs so I had to take the eggs off...but when you do that you lose out on a lot of the hollandaise sauce...which was really yummy...and then eat it. It is a weird request to have Eggs Benny without the eggs...I know!! The hash browns were super yummy...nice and crispy! We enjoyed our brunch...it just would have been perfect if it was a little warmer and without the eggs!! Flies. The first thing you will notice are flies. The only thing I could focus on for my entire meal were the flies. I was really excited to come here for brunch, and I was very disappointed. I ordered a salmon benedict ($13?) and my SO got a philly cheese steak ($12). The flavours of the benny weren't very exciting; cured salmon's flavours weren't pronounced. The philly cheese steak was soaked with oil. We each got a drink, honey lavender latte and a rose latte. I absolutely loved their drinks. They were delicious and if it weren't for the flies, I would come back for the drinks. I probably wouldn't try my luck until maybe many, many months later... I don't tend to have good luck. Based on the reviews and ratings that I read before eating here, I expected more. The flies were definitely a dealbreaker. We were first seated in a booth, and there was a huge swarm of flies hovering over the table. We moved to a table across the restaurant and it was the same deal. A swarm of flies. Some crawling on the wall. Some crawling over the condiments and the tray holding them. I could not eat in peace. To be fair, I am a germaphobe, but I assure you... there were a lot of flies and unless you're okay with having flies in your food, I'm sure you'd agree with me. I looked more at the flies than at my food and drink. We did talk to the waiter about the overly oiliness of the philly cheese steak and the problem with the flies, to which he apologized and offered to waive the philly off our bill, but we refused the offer. My date and I enjoyed brunch at this restaurant while shopping in the area. We were seated right away and menus were dropped off shortly afterwards. I ordered the Delphi Omelette and my date ordered the Cured Salmon Benedict. Food arrived in reasonable time. For some reason, my Omelette included toast and potatoes when I thought it was one or the other. Either way, there was plenty of carbs to accompany the nicely cooked fluffy omelette. Also, peanut butter or jam were not offered for the toast. I did not ask for any condiments as the potatoes was more than enough though. The benny looked great as well. Such a funky and modern atmosphere and lovely/attentive staff. This is definitely the definition of a BRUNCH spot. They have café drinks available, which I love to have with brunch as opposed to only having coffee! The FLUFFIEST and thickest pancakes I think I've ever had at a restaurant. Wow. I ordered the "Protein" and my friends ordered the regular pancakes with seasonal berries! Mine had thick cut sweet bacon with cheese on top and a dusting of powdered sugar. Mmm.
