Apple cinnamon streusel muffin and caramel cream cheese muffin - loved them both!

What a cute and welcoming bakery cafe! Their baked goods look delicious and there's an assortment of different goodies to try out like cinnamon buns, donuts, bars, etc. However, I was there to try out their famous muffins. I got there around noon, but many of their muffins were already sold out. It seems that it's best to go early in the morning for the best selection. They still had a good number of muffins to choose from and I ended up settling on the Caramel Cream Cheese muffin and the Apple Cinnamon Streusel muffin. Even though they hadn't been my first choices (as the ones I had initially wanted were sold out), I was more than pleasantly surprised by how delicious they both were. The tops were crunchy while the insides were moist and not overly sweet. I would absolutely get both of them again. I'm looking forward to returning to try out more of their scrumptious muffins and some of their other baked goods. Oh, and the service there is stellar. The owner is so nice, friendly, and welcoming. Definitely support this awesome small business if you're looking for some delectable baked treats!

Hangover breakfast sandwich -- melted cheddar on fried egg, crispy bacon, mayo, on substituted white bread (it's usually on sourdough)

This place is a cozy local joint. I came here for breakfast and it seems like a nice place to sit down with a friend for a few hours. There is a variety of seating: one couch area with 4 seats, high tops, and a row of bench seating against the wall. I came a few minutes after 11:30am when their breakfast time ends, but they still let me order a breakfast - yay! I also got a London Fog, it was a little sweeter than ones I get from other cafes, but I personally liked it more this way. They also have daily soups, lots of baked goods (which I heard are amazing), variety of drinks, signature sandwiches, and create your own sandwich. Also, Happy Hour 11am-2pm and 3pm-close. Check out photos!

They have the best muffins around. They're baked fresh every morning. Place is clean and nice atmospheric music. It's wise to show up early cause muffins go quick, due to their deliciousness.

This family owned business may not have the fancy bells & whistles that other coffee shop may have, but they serve up Moja Coffee and bring in Cobs Bread for their sandwiches. It sounded good so I opted to try it. The first thing I noticed was the lady seemed to make stuff just over from the front area, not in a kitchen or back area so I started to wonder how fresh or homemade the food is. While I waited I noticed the food preparer dip something in a bowl and go to the back. I was really hoping she wasn't eating something as she was wearing the same gloves as preparing food and later realized that was a bowl of mayo. Then she pulled out the chicken strips from the microwave. Well if I knew I was going to eat microwave chicken instead of freshly cooked crispy chicken, I'd rather have not. I waited for my order and then went back to work to eat it. The first thing I notice is there wasn't any napkins. Umm restaurant 101!! I took a bite of the sandwich, it was a good size, actually surprised that the microwave chicken tasted not too bad but although there was mayo, it was kind of dry. I think a nice aioli and maybe slice of white cheese would've been great. Next the "homemade Thai chicken soup" - not at all impressive. It tasted ok but lacked ingredients, coconut milk, carrot, green onion, cilantro to name a few. It was just chicken, onion, red pepper and rice. The macadamia nuts cookies were alright but I think they could've been better too. I guess it was an alright place but unfortunately I probably won't be back.

They still have some Covid protocols in place with cubicle partitions for each table. They have a wide array of herbal teas, and tea lemonade. We ordered the Lavender lemonade and Rose lemonade because I saw them on their Instagram account. The photos shows a neat concept of putting the drink inside a plastic bag, however they had stopped serving the drinks in that concept. Instead we ordered in. Unfortunately, the drinks were very sweet. The lavender was food colouring and syrup, which was hard to get down without worrying about having getting a headache. However, I managed to finish it but I'm unlikely going to get that again. The cafe was filled with students working on their school work and so the vibe is very academic. There is little ambiance if you want to meet up socially without feeling like your disturbing students.
