There are lots of other young families come here in the morning. There are also friendly seniors who will attempt to have a conversation with you. This is the kind of vibe we like here. We ordered two croissants and a mango loaf as well two lattes. The latte had a nice thick foam on top and we like the coffee. We like coffee that is bold and without the sour aftertaste.

When the food arrived we got two half sandwiches and two cups of soup. I explained this to the waitress and she brought out someone from the kitchen who told me I was wrong and had paid for two half sandwiches and cup of soups. My diabetic husband and brother in law visiting from Ontario did not have enough food and we left to go home and prepare additional food since we had already waited an hour to get our order. I was impressed with the food but will never go back the error was not mine and if the staff incorrectly rang in our order when my sister and I were at the counter they could at least have apologized for the error. Sadly this review will be shared with friends and family across the country. So disappointed in our treatment.

The photos shows a neat concept of putting the drink inside a plastic bag, however they had stopped serving the drinks in that concept. Instead we ordered in. Unfortunately, the drinks were very sweet. The lavender was food colouring and syrup, which was hard to get down without worrying about having getting a headache. However, I managed to finish it but I'm unlikely going to get that again. The cafe was filled with students working on their school work and so the vibe is very academic. There is little ambiance if you want to meet up socially without feeling like your disturbing students.

Since I couldn't get the Ube Matcha drink I got the Hojicha Matcha Iced Latte which was okay conpared to other Matcha drinks I have tried, it seemed like there was a lot more ice than matcha and the large cup isn't very large plus the paper straws were just a no for me. They could have just used other compostable straws rather than paper ones so I give the paper straws a thumbs down. The service was very friendly though despite the language barrier. I didn't see much gluten free options here. I think at a time they carried gluten free donuts from another company but I didn't see them there this time. I'd give this place another shot though once they do have the Ube Matcha Latte drink available.

Crispy on the outside, soft and gooey in the middle, and finished with a dusting of icing sugar and cocoa. Cookie dough was gooey and nicely sweet. It was good. Croissant dough was a bit soggy and require more refinement. Service at Edmonds location was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I came here with a friend. She ordered a Coco Berry Matcha, and I had my "go to" favourite drink at any Waves Coffee house which is the Rooibos Frappe, made with yogurt. The Coco Berry Matcha is the Waves version of the what appears to be a somewhat viral drink right now. Basically, lots of places seem to be offering some kind of Match drink with a white layer and a red layer made from strawberries, or raspberries or maybe just red berries in general. My friend said her drink was not very good. The berry part of it was like jam. Huh? Jam in a drink? Weird! My Rooibos Frappe was awesome as usual. They usually give you the option of having it made with ice cream or yogurt. I have always found it to be tastier with the yogurt option so now I don't even wait for them to ask me how I'd like it done. I just tell them right away that I'd like it made with yogurt. Super unimpressed with my friend's report on the Coco Berry Matcha but since I've had multiple experiences at this shop before and they have generally all been good, I am still giving them a good rating for this first review.

A bit difficult to find at Fort Langley as always, but it's worth checking this place out!
