Can't even remember what store this replaced, but it doesn't matter because we got an UPGRADE. About time a Korean cafe/bakery opened in Walnut Grove! Had high hopes going in and 100% not disappointed. First of all, there's POUROVER on the drinks menu, which immediately elevated the cafe's calibre. And it was a fantastic pourover according to my husband. As for the baked goods, the cream puffs are obviously the highlight. Got one of each and LOVED the chocolate & cappuccino. Will most definitely be back to try some of the croissants and cakes -- it's right in my old neighbourhood, after all!

Cozy aesthetics and very packed coffee shop - lots of patrons on their computers. They have seating inside and outside. Because of how packed they are, there could be a wait for the food/drink. I ordered for staying in and it took a long time to prepare the creampuff (which was served cold so.. they really just had to plate?). They have a lot of creative drink options. I tried their Tiramisu Latte (hot version) and it had a lovely creamy top, flavor was on point - the ladyfinger that came with it was really just for looks though as it didn't add anything to the drink. The London Fog creampuff I got looked good but texture-wise, was very soft and soggy. It had a lot of cream inside and the moisture in it had made the shell mushy; I've had a lot of creampuffs before and know it could be better and not soggy. I would stick with their drinks and its a nice place to hang out and people watch.

I was looking for a cafe open past 7pm. Most of of the local cafes close at that time but this one was open until 8pm. I ordered a pumpkin cream cold brew and a brownie. Was satisfied with my order. The pumpkin cream cold brew was especially good. Had more cinnamon/nutmeg flavor than the one from Starbucks. Outdoor seating is available but it is near a busy road. Overall was a pleasant experience and would recommend them.

Visited on a whim after camping and the fresh pastries are so delicious. I wish they had another location closer to Vancouver. The hot pot pie was flakey and filled to the brim with chicken and veggies. The scone was also so savoury that it made for a treat after a hike

Nice coffee shop and bakery that serves specialty coffees and desserts and pastries. I have the breakfast sandwich and it's really tasty and all fresh ingredients. We have our bi weekly coffee breakfast meeting here as the coffee is fresh and service is always with a smile. Will have to come back and have lunch someday but for now we do our breakfast meetings here.

We found this new cafe when we visited Langley after my appointment. Lovely cafe with beautiful interior design. They have variety selection of cakes, cream puffs and pastries. There are also food selections such as sandwiches to choose and also different beverages. I had take out some cream puffs and croissant with lavender latte. Lavender latte has a very unique taste but it's not my type. The cream puff is really good as the filling is quite full, but can't taste much of vanilla taste and more like plain cream. Overall, like this beautiful cafe and will give it more try if we are around this area.

Coffee is excellent and food is very good but very noisy place. I go here for takeout only as a result.

Nice place for an outside meetup. Expresso drinks were liked by all. Baking was tasty. Service was fast. We will be back.

Living with a burger loving gal, we took advantage of the free advertisement for The Bistro and checked it out. The place is clean, rather spartan, but bright and airy. You order at the front counter, pay, and wait for your food to be made. The menu is far wider than we thought checking it out on line. Is it going to win the best burger? We would say no way, with Loudmouth at Mount Lehman out there along with even Five Guys around the lower mainland, there are better choices. One thing the lovely K loved is she was as able to determine the doneness of the meat. The potatoes that came with were good, but soft on the inside and also out, which isn't what I'd want. I had the breakfast brunch of Desi Platter which was very tasty, and quite different. One thing I will say is the price of the menu item deserved a three egg omelette, not two. The rest of the platter was really great, the paratha especially, never tried that. Would we go back, probably, but not compelled to do so right away.

My friend and I have a tradition of getting breakfast before our 9am class on Fridays, and Google reviews seemed to suggest that the Bistro was the place to go. We walked in about half an hour after opening, and the place was warm and already buzzing with a pleasant volume of conversations from a handful of filled tables. Patricia (the owner?) greeted us as soon as we entered and directed us to the menus. It's a small breakfast menu of about seven items, but what they do, they do well. I had the sunken Benny, which Patricia kindly explained to me was not at all like a traditional Benny. Instead, it was poached eggs, potatoes, corn, black beans, bell peppers, and chorizo nestled into a zesty tomato sauce. It felt a bit like a Mexican take on a shakshuka. So hearty, especially as it was served with a delicious focaccia style bread--it could cure heartache, I think. My friend ordered the omelette with a side of pancakes, and the omelette was a great balance of veggies, meat, and cheese. And the pancakes... I promise I'm not exaggerating when I say she shed tears. "10/10," she declared, marveling at the texture--somehow soft, fluffy, and bouncy. The baked goods are also all made fresh in house, and I had to get a carrot and mascarpone muffin to go. It wasn't super cheap (~$25 per person with our various sides), but it's worth it for food that fills the stomach and the heart. Can't wait to come back! Thank you, Patricia and staff!
