Coffee, ambience, service and food are all great, but I really want to highlight the donut. They have a great selection and I tried the Boston cream, and this was goooood. This is basically what the Tim hortons Boston cream used to taste like, but better. The batter is denser, but not because it's heavier but because it's more mixed and glutinous. Doesn't sound right for a cake donut, but this is really well balanced, it has a certain chew without being heavy and greasy, really really good donut. The filling is not pretentious but fresh, glaze is good too. Looks like donuts are flying out the door this morning so I don't have to say more, but really good stuff here.

Love stopping here for coffee. My to go is their spanish coffee. Not many coffee shops in Van have spanish lattes. When they first opened I found that their sweetness was just the perfect amount. The last couple times I feel like it's gotten sweeter and would have to ask them to half the sweetner. Another favourite is their old fashioned and homer doughnut. They have expanded their doughnut options now and they all are amazing. Just the perfect amount of sweetness. Many doughnut shops are often too sweet and will be sickening after a couple bites. One thing that was disappointing is their grilled cheese sandwich. I think the price was $6-7. I had ordered it to go and when I opened the box the sandwich was very thin and small. I would expect a sandwich to be at least double of the size I received. It was not too much longer than my index finger and I have fairly small hands. It was yummy and cheese was very melty but I found it too small for the price. Overall I do love this place and would continue to come back, but perhaps not order any of their sandwiches in the future.

I discovered this coffee shop a few years ago and I have been going back every time I am in town since then. I love the aesthetics and the vibes inside, so clean and light and a perfect environment for studying, working on your laptop, reading, or just meeting up with friends. The Maple Chai Tea Latte is my favorite, so tasty, and the Buddha Bowl fills my soul whenever I get it! The donuts are amazing too. Love this place!

Amazing doughnut selection! They also do breakfast sandwiches. Ambiance is super chill. Very clean place.

Coffee is great, and the doughnuts are as well. Chill vibes and nice location. I wanna get some of their merch next time, looks sick!

Every Friday my work does skip the dishes and this time we chose Black Tiger Coffee. Two of my coworkers have eaten there and raved about the Gustoso sandwich! My other coworker ordered the Buddah bowl and I ordered the tuna poke bowl and Spanish latte. Spanish Latte I read that many people enjoyed this so I ordered this with coconut milk since I can't take soy and almond milk alters the taste. The Spanish latte is an espresso that has milk (or in my case, coconut milk) steamed together with sweetend condensed milk. I found this to be too sweet for my liking, possibly my sugar intake is very low. I took a couple of sips and threw the rest out. I much prefer my grande half sweet caramel machiato with an extra shot of expresso and nonfat milk from Starbucks (that's the sweetest drink I get there, or else it's just coffee and milk, no sugar). Tuna Poke Bowl This comes with tuna marinated in a shoyu sauce, edamame, cucumber, crab, seaweed salad, fried onion, furikake, masago, ginger with your choice of miso mayo, or spicy mayo over a bed of rice. I got the spicy mayo and boy, it was actually spicy! The tuna wasn't as soft as the tuna on sushi, it was a little harder. It was super delicious and I would definetly order this again, but maybe try the salmon one or even the Gustoso sandwhich!

The place itself is gorgeous- super clean looking, and very trendy (good for the insta pics ;)) I had an americano misto, which was super creamy and well balanced. They use 49th parallel beans, so I knew it would be a good cup of coffee! I also had an M&M donut, which was AMAZING. The dough wasn't too sweet, it had a nice chewy texture, but was super fluffy at the same time. This is a must if you're in the surrey/Langley area!

Great coffee, latte choices and the donuts are delicious!! The ambience was really inviting and I would definitely go again

In a sea of Starbucks and Tim Hortons, it is nice that there are more options slowly popping up on this side of the Port Mann. I stopped here for the first time to meet up with family and was impressed with the service, beverages (I had 2) and donuts. I got to sample their peach earl grey iced tea when we were inquiring about the iced tea flavours. I ordered that drink plus a cookies & cream donut. The funny thing I realized on my drive back home was that Timmy's was on the next block. If you enjoy quality over quantity and do not mind paying a bit more for your donut and coffee, I recommend stopping by here instead. The donut tasted amazing, was just the right amount of sweetness and almost cake like (as a good donut should be). After chitchatting for an hour and a half, we made it to happy hour which was buy one get one 50% off. I got a large half sweet Spanish latte afterwards. The ambience is hip and modern. Staff did rounds to keep the place clean. It was not too busy so there was ample seating available. There are charging outlets if you want to sit down and work for awhile. The location is hard to spot off Fraser Highway as the store front does not face the main road. It is located in a newer condo/commercial building. There are still a number of commercial stores that have not been leased out yet.

Thankful for this place being opened still! The coffee and donuts here are amazing. Highly recommend checking this place out and supporting them! Can't wait for all this craziness to be over so we can sit in and enjoy great coffee and donuts.

My wife and I are incredibly happy to see a new coffee shop open up in our area. Inside its a brilliant white on black, a very classy look. The lattes are great, and the iced mochas fantastic, but the real winners are their house made baked goods- Donuts ( a tier above what you're used to getting across the street), croissants, danishs. We usually drive half up to 45 mins for great coffee... Now we don't have to!

I have driven by this little spot at 5 corners in Langley thousands of times, so we were happy to finally stop in. The building itself is very cool having originally been built in 1888 and was the general store. PY Porter bought the store in 1916, and the Porter name has been on the building since. Today it is a coffee house, restaurant and music venue. All three of us ordered the daily special, the lovely K the pancakes and breakfast sausage and Kris and I the farmer sausage, eggs and potatoes with toast. The farmer sausage was wonderful, the potatoes properly made and beautifully cooked. No Sysco truck delivering the sides for sure. My cappuccino was mostly foam, with little coffee, although the lovely K said hers was great, so a saw off. There are plenty of things to entice, with baked goods, prepared sandwiches and a wide variety of trinkets offered in the early 20th century interior. There sure won't be a century pass before they see our faces again.
