Came here with some girlfriends about a month ago and was definitely not disappointed. The interior decor is very cute, and the atmosphere is chic as well. The girls and I ordered the set 3 tier finger sandwiches, and we each go our own separate tea as well. Such a delightful high-tea experience! You'll never have to go downtown for high tea again. I was so excited when I heard that a high tea place FINALLY opened up in the Surrey area. I booked high tea for Sunday at 11am. Reservations are for 2 hour time slots throughout the days on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Everything from the decor, to the ambiance, to the service, to the food is just amazing! We went for the grand opening and so we got a deal which was 2 people eat and drink tea for 25 bucks! Such a steal. Their usual rate for high tea is 25 dollars a person which is still reasonable (especially when comparing to places downtown Vancouver). When we got inside, our table had my name on it with the number of guests and reservation time. They cater to vegetarians which was great! The first course was blueberry panna cotta. It was soooooo good. Then we got our tea. I ordered the earl grey which was so smooth and creamy. Absolutely loved it. We each got our OWN trays of goodies. The quality of the sweets and savouries was spectacular. Everything was delicious and my favourite would definetly have to be the scone with the cream and jam. You can tell everything is made in-house. If you like spicy teas I would highly recommend the chai, it's a special recipe with cinnamon. They also do specialty cakes for birthdays and events and judging from the displays I would order from them most-definitely. The attention to detail here is what really gave it five stars for me. Each of us had unique antique china sets. The chandeliers created the enchanted theme they were going for. There is a lot of natural lighting which was great especially for a sunny day. The table was set up very pretty when we arrived and we enjoyed the selection of sweets and savoury bites with our tea. I came here for afternoon tea on Easter Sunday and it was fabulous experience. They have cute little placards on the table for your party, the décor is simple and cozy, and the food you get for tea is amazing! Here are some of the highlights from the tray: I like to start my tea with scones, and I can honestly say, this is one of the best scones I've ever eaten! Light and warm and a little sweet, it was absolutely perfect. It's like a fluffy sugar-cookie flavored muffin... if that makes any sense. Then the phyllo pastry cups with the savory filling (I forgot what it was, but it was delicious) was so addictive! Flaky and light and buttery, mmm. The vegetarian sandwich was so flavorful. Creamy pesto with Boccioni and tomato on fresh focaccia. I'm going to try to re-create this simple yet elegant sandwich at home. I was so full that I had to take my desserts home, but my favorite was the chocolate chili triangle. It has the perfect texture for a brownie and I loved the hint of chili kick you get at the end. The customer service was fantastic as well. My husband and I were there with two other large parties (one was a party of 10+ loud women) and another party of 6 girls I believe. The servers handled themselves gracefully amidst the chaos. They were very accommodating to everyone in the salon. Came here for a bridal shower on a Saturday afternoon. Small place, but it wasn't too busy either. Service wasn't great. The food was not introduced to us when it came, just plopped it down and left. The server combined four of our teas into two pots as we ordered the same teas but everyone else in our group had their own pots. Again, the pots were just left on the table and the server only later came to tell us they were combined (but we had already figured it out ourselves after a bit of confusion). We were also missing a smoked salmon item, but only noticed later when I mentioned to my friend (I had one) and my friend didn't have one (we would have noticed earlier if the set was introduced to us); so didn't get a chance to ask the server about it. Overall the food and desserts weren't that impressive. The New York cheesecake was pretty good and the lemon tart but that's about it. Nothing else was very memorable. Limited tea selection, only 6 to choose from or coffee. I wouldn't travel all the way to Surrey for mediocre afternoon tea unless it was for an event. read more

A couple girlfriends took me here for my birthday and I absolutely loved it! We came at 11AM on a Sunday and we were the first customers there. The store is really pretty and clean! We all got the high tea. All of the food was excellent! My personal favorites were the NY cheesecake, curried egg salad on a croissant, and the chicken salad sandwich. Service was AWESOME. We ended up staying for a few hours and our server came back multiple times to make sure our teas were topped up with hot water. Like others said, it's a little hard to find but I went through the Mazda dealership and it lead me right to the store. I can't wait to go back! read more

I went here today with my in laws and my mother, and overall had a good experience. The positives: -the ambience was lovely - bright white, with cute tea themed decor (including tea pot shaped lights!) and beautiful china. -the food was excellent - I liked that everything was relatively familiar with a little twist (like egg salad sandwiches with a bit of curry or little spanakopita flower shaped pastries), and it all was delicious. You could tell there were no grocery store purchased goodies here! The scones were particularly tasty as well, and I think those ended up being a table favourite. -the tea was very good, though the selection a bit small. -the price is very reasonable at $26 per person. The negatives: (Of note, there was a big birthday party happening at the same time, which may account for some of these issues.) -some of our food was missing - we were short a cheese cake, and they completely forgot to bring out the Panna Cotta jars for our table. We only noticed they were missed because my mother in law saw all the other tables enjoying them. We had to ask the staff for ours! -the waitress (who was admittedly very new) was asked by the owner/other waitress to tell us about the food and she was completely stumped. Either she wasn't normally supposed to be going through the food with us or they hadn't prepared her properly. It was basically a couple of minutes of her awkwardly struggling through some generic guesses about what was being served. It could have easily been solved by at least giving her a list to go off of. -they combined two of our pots into one (since they were having the same tea), but they did this for the green tea. The problem being is that if you let green tea sit in a big pot for too long, it starts to get really bitter. I think if they each had their own pot, they would have go through the water more quickly and could have refilled for fresh water more often, thus avoiding the bitter steeping. -the signage is TERRIBLE - finding the place was almost impossible because the only sign is a small poster sized sign in the window. All the other businesses around have a big permanent sign that makes it clear when you're driving through. It was so bad that there were multiple cars driving around the lot all trying to find this place; we even had a bit of a laugh once we all realized we were looking for the same store front. I hope this is just a temporary thing because they are so new, but they definitely need a bigger sign. Overall, I thought this place was great and I'll definitely be going back again soon. The negatives, while a little annoying, were not deal breakers by any means (though did warrant one less star). Hopefully with a few more months under their belts, they will be able to fix most, if not all of these things; when that happens, I'll be happy to upgrade my rating. read more

This hidden little gem is capital A for ADORABLE. From the moment you step in, you feel a cute and comfy aura of class. The place is so well lit, cozy and well decorated. The staff had our table set up and labelled ready to go as we made a prior reservation for high tea. Within second of stepping in, a staff member greeted us. The girls here are sooooooo friendly and so talented! Check out their cake creations while you wait for your tea order. The menu was absolutely perfect and every single morsel was nothing short of delicious! It's also quite a bit of food so you won't leave hungry! I can't say enough positive things about this place I drove all the way from Burnaby and it was well worth the drive. out! This is a hidden gem in Langley. We were so impressed by how delicious our tea service was. You know when there's one item that's just OK or kind of blah? Well, we didn't have that here. Everything was excellent. On the flip side, we really couldn't agree on which was the best item because one liked the scones and the lemon tart, another liked the cucumber sandwich and the tiramisu, another liked the chicken salad and the brownies, whilst I liked the salmon, the egg salad croissant and the salted caramel cheesecake. Man, it was all good. Savories brought back memories of afternoon tea in London and the desserts were plentiful and varied. It was all quite exquisite. Just really good quality, simple ingredients with no frills. Service was impeccable which matched the elegant decor. I picked up some really cute cake pops, a hand made cupcake necklace and 2 pink cupcake aprons here too. I can't wait to come back. read more

Enchanted Cake Studio is what it is called..Cake Studio..enjoyed High Tea today ...the elements on our three tier cake tray for two was very good, fresh and plenty...enjoyed very much...Suggestion: The temperature in shop was very cold (take sweater in case). The shop's location was very difficult to find..very small signage and located in "light industry strip mall" and obviously does not cater to foot traffic very easily. Does not provide any baking products to buy and take home.Present location is very poor and is detrimental to shop. The Studio is mainly a 'make to order bake products. Relocation would definitely be a plus unless they are already successful in their "Order products". If ambience is important this is not the place for you. read more
