High Tea - Langley Perfect morning for some tea! It's very grey and blustery out, so some high tea and some time to relax are very welcome! I had the chai tea, Nikki had the vanilla black tea. For food there was: sandwiches (ham and cheese, egg salad, tomato and pesto, mixed greens and cranberry), sausage rolls, Cranberry palmiers, blueberry scones with Devonshire cream and Raspberry jam, Raspberry brownies, cinnamon cake with cream cheese frosting, chocolate cupcakes, caramel cupcakes, and fresh fruit! It was a very relaxed and pleasant morning! Taste - 7/10 Apperance - 9/10 Ambiance - 7/10 Overall - 7.66 @Vancouver_food_review

I was walking by and stopped in for cupcakes. I bought 2 chocolate raspberry $3.50each. I took them home and they were decadent and delicious. I wanted a pie but am glad I didn't after reading the other reviews. I would like to return and try different flavors of cupcakes. A really small cute cafe with marble tables and funky chandeliers.

We have been coming to Tracycakes for tea since my girls were just little...we still find time for these sweet traditions!

Tracycakes is a special place for our family!! Having two girls we have had many tea parties with friends, High teas with Grandma, Aunties and Cousins! At many of their different locations! I think my favourite might be the first one in Ft Langley but that might just be because that's when my girls were little! This location is in a heritage building on five corners in Murrayville! It is both pretty and rustic...which I love. The simplicity of the white and black decor is lovely. They are know for their cupcakes all over the lower mainland! These are my oldest daughters favourite cupcakes...she likes that they keep them cold in the cooler and of course the butter cream icing! They package them in cute little boxes so they are always a special little treat to take to someone! A friend and I were there one morning when the chef was doing some recipe testing and got to sample some delicious crepes! So good! The parking is somewhat limited but there is a lot across the street for over flow parking. Make sure you make a reservation for High Tea...you may not be able to just drop in! But there is another cafe across the street if they are full...they do not serve High Tea though! It's a lovely place for tea and we will surely be back many more tea parties, breakfasts or lunches!

Drove by this quaint house and had to take a double take, it's a bakery/tea house! Had the mid-afternoons munchies so stopped in to pick up some baked goods. Got there right before closing and scored on a nice selection of goodies leftover at the end of the day. I must have been really hungry because I enjoyed everything: cinnamon buns, scones, and muffins! Staff were friendly. A couple of parking spots in the gravel lot.

I thought they were great ! I went there for high tea and had a great experience ! They give excellent customer service and the quality of the food and Tea was very good ! It is very cute inside as well :) . Although I do recommend getting a reservation if you'd like to go they seem very busy .

We stopped by while there was a 2 for 1 afternoon tea special for the month of November. There is a small selection of tea to choose from but was still a decent selection. I found the afternoon tea service to be somewhat basic. The highlight was the scone! However, it was not served with Devonshire cream. It tasted like a blend of sour cream mixed in. That was a bit disappointing for me as I always look forward to that cream over some amazing scones. Service was a little slow. We had to ask for hot water to be refilled for our teas as our server was also working the cash register. It is a cute tea house in the area for those who live close by without having to commute to downtown Vancouver for some of the nicer options.

Such a quaint place! From the china to the take out packaging, you'll gush at everything you settle your eyes on. And for those with allergies they have gluten-free options! Pinky fingers up!

A great place to sit and have a coffee and a snack. We had the cinnamon buns. It had a slightly crispy exterior texture and a moist centre. We had the good fortune to order the buns as soon as they were ready.

    Cranberry scones and tea. Excellent!

1 Star -- Discriminatory and Hostile Toward Disabled Patrons…read more My experience at Gratia Café was deeply upsetting and reflects a profound lack of understanding of -- or respect for -- disability rights. I am a disabled individual who relies on a legitimate, clearly identifiable service dog. Rather than being treated with basic courtesy and professionalism, I was subjected to hostile behavior, scrutiny, and exclusionary conduct that made it unmistakably clear I was not welcome. Staff acted as though they were entitled to question or challenge the presence of a service dog, despite the fact that this is explicitly prohibited under British Columbia human rights law. Let me be very clear: Businesses do not get to interrogate disabled patrons, demand explanations of medical need, or treat service dogs as optional accommodations. A service dog is not a pet, and access is not conditional on staff approval, comfort, or personal beliefs. What made this experience particularly distressing was the demeaning tone and dismissive attitude shown throughout the interaction. Instead of de-escalation or accommodation, the situation was handled in a way that felt humiliating, stigmatizing, and discriminatory. Disabled people should never be made to feel like a problem simply for existing in public spaces with the supports they require. Accessibility is not a "preference" or a branding choice -- it is a legal and ethical obligation. Until Gratia Café undertakes serious staff training on disability rights, service animals, and inclusive customer service, I cannot recommend this establishment to disabled patrons or allies. This experience was not just disappointing -- it was unacceptable.

They still have some Covid protocols in place with cubicle partitions for each table. They have a wide array of herbal teas, and tea lemonade. We ordered the Lavender lemonade and Rose lemonade because I saw them on their Instagram account. The photos shows a neat concept of putting the drink inside a plastic bag, however they had stopped serving the drinks in that concept. Instead we ordered in. Unfortunately, the drinks were very sweet. The lavender was food colouring and syrup, which was hard to get down without worrying about having getting a headache. However, I managed to finish it but I'm unlikely going to get that again. The cafe was filled with students working on their school work and so the vibe is very academic. There is little ambiance if you want to meet up socially without feeling like your disturbing students.

When I was seated, I ordered the Smoked Duck Breast Benedict and coffee. The benedict was great overall. The duck meat was exceptionally good if not a little chewy while the honey mustard helped add a vibrant flavour to the entrée. The hashbrowns were solid good and crunchy. The side of fruit were very fresh and juicy to eat. The coffee was great and I saw myself having a second cup. The establishment was mildly lit and clean; aspects I usually like in a restaurant. The service was excellent. I received my food what only seemed like minutes after ordering, and the servers were very perceptive to my needs.
