Prawn tacos. Tough to get the shell off, and not a lot of room to assemble. Tasted great though

Having been there with a client previously, the lovely K picked this place for us and her Mom, who was visiting us for a later lunch. The place is bright, airy and nicely appointed, although the seating was a little close together. We were greeted immediately by a very nice young lady, and shown to our table. Our server was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The lively K had the grilled Caesar with chicken which she loved. It was a good sized portion as well. I had the prawn tacos which were also very good. You built them yourself which was a little messy and the plate a little small. I would have preferred the tail shell removed as it was not easy to remove them and created further mess. The portion was also a little on the small side for the price. It's also a wash your hands afterwards, kind of meal, and you might not want to wear your Sunday best. All in all I'd go again to explore a little more of the somewhat limited menu, which isn't overly surprising given they do not serve dinner.

Had the most amazing experience! Perfect for birthday celebrations and please try the lamb lollipop and the Strip Loin. I would also give the margarita flight a try, you won't regret it.

Turkey sausage, eggs, smashed potatoes, sourdough and green salad - the entire dish was bit too dry, unfortunately. Full serve about $18

Ambience: Loved the ambience - rustic, modern and elegant. Lots of seating; some tables are quite close to each other but that was OK for us. Service: Great service. Friendly staff. We were seated right away at a table of our choice. They do take reservations and it might be better to make one during weekends and evenings. We went on a weekday for brunch and it got busy right after we got there. Food: Good selection for brunch. I love that they have GF options; and can accommodate requests. Prices are a bit on the higher side for brunch but I think it's worth it. It's comparable to most places in Downtown Vancouver. I love Shashuka, so I ordered it. Cost was $22 but I paid $24 because of the GF toast option. It was okay; way too tangy than the way I cook Shahuska and how I've had it in many places. I was hoping for it to be less tangier. I wish the meatballs were a part of the Shahuska dish and not served one the side. I wouldn't order this again because it was too much for my pallet at 10am. My hubby liked his dish but not loved it because it was too dry. Would've been nice to have some sauce to hold everything together. Coffee was great. All in all, a lovely place and good service. Will go back and try other things on the menu.

    Enjoying Saba! So worth it!

I truly believe Saba Bistro is exceptional. I had the short rib Benedict excellent! My wife had the French toast and it was delicious. I truly don't mind paying their prices when I get exceptional food. Well done, Saba, you rock.

We arrived pretty late walking around Fort Langley. There are so many decent restaurants in the area but this one caught my eyes. Mainly due to my mom instinct is telling me that this place would be kids friendly. You have no idea how many restaurants I have been to either doesn't have a baby change table or a broken change table. Anyways, I did not regret coming here at all. Their egg benedicts are to die for! The egg is perfectly cooked and I like how they use scone for the Benedict base. I think it's a really nice touch. The staff are friendly and nice. I think they make their own ketchups as well as it taste nothing like heniz ketchups. The interior is modern and clean. It's a great place for family and date night

Lamb dinner (so good!) and halibut special (delicious!)

Came here to celebrate my birthday and take a break from Vancouver and I'm so glad I picked here! The restaurant is stunning inside, all of the food was delicious, and the drinks were well priced. We got the buratta and Brussel sprouts to start which were great. For mains I got the lamb lollipops (since they ran out of the lamb dinner) and my husband got the halibut special. Both entrees were so delicious. Only thing was for the price point, we felt the portions were a bit small. We also got a tiramisu for dessert which isn't normally my favorite but it was amazing!! Often tiramisu can be soggy but this one was fluffy and moist but not soggy at all. I loved how it was almost more like a custard rather than a cream. We happily come back here again but only for special occasions as it is very pricey.

Had dinner with family on a busy weekend. Atmosphere is good, best weather of the season and Fort Langley is my favourite place in Langley. The food is just alright. They have a short menu with just a dozen mains to choose from. I had the Roasted Marbella hicken . It's OK. It was better than what my wife ordered, the pasta with a shrimp., Rigatoni Arrabbela. Service is ok , just a bit slow because they were really busy.

We came to Saba Bistro for brunch based on the reviews and got a mimosa and a braised short rib benny to share. We came here late on a Sunday afternoon and didn't have to wait to long to get seated although it was quite full when we sat down. They were nice to split the mimosa for us and it tasted quite good. We also got the braised short rib benny. The short rib had good flavour but was a bit dry and the egg that we asked for medium poached did not ooze like how we normally like it to. An okay place for brunch in the Fort Langley area.

My friend recommended saba cafe because she said their croissants were amazing. Unfortunately when we got there, they let us know that they no longer sold plain croissants and the next option was the double baked almond croissant. I didn't mind because this croissant was amazing! There was a great amount of almond filling and the outside was super crispy too! It was definitely worth the trip and I'd go again

The kitchen was definitely busy bringing over dishes and baked goods. The food was good and the chocolate chip cookie was the fan favourite amongst my group. Really enjoyed my French Onion Soup ($15 I think), also ordered sourdough bread on the side which came toasted and lightly buttered! Side of bread cost a few dollars more. French onion soup was delicious, nice and cheesy with soaked through bread inside. Flat white was good too. I didn't like their cinnamon twist pastry though, very little cinnamon sugar and it wasn't really flaky. Staff were friendly and decently quick on service. Bustle cafe at 9:30am on a Sunday. A bit difficult to find at Fort Langley as always, but it's worth checking this place out!

I thought it wouldn't take too long since there were only two of us, but I greatly underestimated how many people were ahead of us. Upon arrival, there were still about 20 people on the list ahead so we ended up waiting over an hour. When we were finally seated, service was reasonably quick. Coffee is about $4 for drip coffee and about $7 for a mocha. We ordered both the eggs benny with bacon and the Dutch baby bowl to share. I was impressed by the portion sizes, definitely a good spot to choose if you're hungry! I had to box up almost half of my food as I couldn't finish it all. The Dutch baby has sausage, bacon, eggs, potatoes and salad under the eggs, so it is quite a substantial meal. We both enjoyed all of the components to each dish, but for me, the bacon was absolutely perfect and my favourite thing on the plate. Thick cut, not overly fatty and had tons of flavour. I would absolutely order this again; I just wish there had been a bit more hollandaise. The server managed to always pop up at the right time for coffee and water refills, and was quick to bring the check when I asked for it. It was fairly loud in the dining room due to the number of people talking and eating, but not a deterrent to go back. I'd just try to join the wait list a bit earlier next time.

Don't let that deter you, go there, and you'll be like us, will find a way to decide, we need to go to Maple Ridge! I love the interior with a splash of Italia, but decor is full of understanding what the purpose is. It's about feeding people in the traditional sense. You can eat in, take away ready, or take it home warm it up and feed your family. How refreshing it is for us that love the old world mindset. K's Chef's Special with fries was so good. The fries remained hot until the last one was devoured, how do they do that? She ate half the sandwich and had to box the other half. My borscht side with my Turkey BL sandwich was so good I also brought a half sandwich home. I could have finished it, but we would have had to stop for a nap prior to getting all the way home. The menu had changed quite a bit and the food was not as good. I think it was because they had lost their chef. We read very good reviews recently and there was a new chef, so we decided to give it another try. We made reservations for Sunday. At first we were seated at the end of the room with a door that connected to the pub next door. It was a windy day and with the door open it was very chilly where we were seated. We asked to be moved. There were 2 large groups in the room when we were there but fortunately, they were not noisy so we did not have to shout in order to talk to each other. Our server was very good. We shared an order of chili chicken as an appetizer. My husband enjoyed it but I found the chicken dry. The chicken pieces were very small, most were the size of my small fingertip, hence the dryness. I felt that there was almost as much batter as there was chicken. Disappointing. For entrees my husband had prawn pesto linguine that was decent. I had grilled salmon. The salmon was well cooked but it could have used a sauce or seasoning to give it more flavour. The vegetables that were served with it consisted mainly of peppers with a couple of stalks of asparagus. We did order dessert. After 15 minutes our server said it was on it's way. After another 10 minutes we just gave up and asked for our bill. It was overall a very disappointing evening. For what is offered we felt the prices are a bit on the high side.
