It's a little place, but very friendly, and a favourite spot of the other nearby vendors, from the banter we experienced while there. The seating is limited, but there are standing areas and some outside seating. It's a great spot on the one-way in downtown Langley to watch the world go. The scones were excellent, filling and not terribly expensive. The cappuccino was spot on and paired nicely with the scone. We will be back again for sure, and hope they enjoy a ten year anniversary somewhere down the lane.

I have driven by this little spot at 5 corners in Langley thousands of times, so we were happy to finally stop in. The building itself is very cool having originally been built in 1888 and was the general store. PY Porter bought the store in 1916, and the Porter name has been on the building since. Today it is a coffee house, restaurant and music venue. All three of us ordered the daily special, the lovely K the pancakes and breakfast sausage and Kris and I the farmer sausage, eggs and potatoes with toast. The farmer sausage was wonderful, the potatoes properly made and beautifully cooked. No Sysco truck delivering the sides for sure. My cappuccino was mostly foam, with little coffee, although the lovely K said hers was great, so a saw off. There are plenty of things to entice, with baked goods, prepared sandwiches and a wide variety of trinkets offered in the early 20th century interior. There sure won't be a century pass before they see our faces again.
