The "Taste of the Market" event is always organized before the Christmas season each year. I always enjoy the vendors' products, such as cheese, cooked foods, chocolate, olive oil, cured meats, desserts, and more. This event is really fun! Each product is unique and delicious, and we get to try small bites from every vendor. This year, all the vendors' foods were excellent. I especially enjoyed Mt. Lehman Cheese's aged cheddar, Those Pretzels, Lepp Market's turkey cranberry sausage, Grass Roots' smoked cheese, Madame Loïk's whipped cheese, Callister Craft Soda, Centennial's cookie dough spread, Fraser Valley hazelnuts, Charlie Ivy's olive oil, and a cranberry spread served on top of nachos (unfortunately, I forgot the vendor's name). The employees are pleasant and helpful. There are always one or two out front and I've never had any issues with them. They've been in that same location since before 2001 when I first started going there and have updated it from time to time. I've never seen any problems and it is always clean and dry. The only note of mention is that the doors are always open so the inside is always the same temperature as it is outside. If it's snowing out, bring some gloves and a jacket!
