Seasons Apple Café is such a gem! The service is consistently warm and welcoming, and you can tell the staff genuinely care about making your visit a good one. I had the Spanish latte, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best I've ever had: perfectly balanced, smooth, and just the right touch of sweetness. I still think about it. The bagel sandwiches are also incredible...fresh, flavorful, and seriously satisfying. You can't go wrong with any of the combos. Season's Apple Cafe is an Asian-run Italian cafe located in a mini mall on Tenth Avenue in Burnaby, near the Burnaby-Coquitlam border. I stopped by here in mid-July to grab a quick lunch and took a seat on their patio. The view from the patio isn't fabulous... you just have a view of the parking lot for the mini mall, but it was a welcome experience to enjoy the warm weather that we've been having in July. I ordered the Napoli Tuna Sandwich ($7.95) made with tuna, feta, mozzarella, red onion, red pepper, spinach, mustard, and mayo on a grilled focaccia and teamed it up with a Passion Fruit Italian Soda ($4.70) and a large chocolate chip cookie. It took about 10 minutes for my sandwich to be made and grilled up. The exterior of the focaccia had a crisp cracker-like crunch to the bite and the mozzarella provided a nice cheesy-pull. I was a bit worried at first that the feta would be a bit strong in this sandwich but my concerns were unfounded. Sipping the passion fruit soda on a hot day like this was quite refreshing. I returned over 2 months later and ordered their Tuna Melt on Toast ($6.95) along with a Hot Chocolate ($3.40). I actually liked this better than their Napoli version. This is a classic text-book tuna melt with a beautifully golden hue which gives way to a crisp crunch to the bite before reaching the tuna and cheese filling. read more

This little gem is hidden in a neighborhood strip mall in Burnaby near 10th ave. and is owned by a nice Korean couple. They serve a nice dark Americano if you like strong dark coffee! They also make sandwiches, grilled or cold, baked goods, as well as a selection of cold drinks like bubble teas and frappuccinos. A great little place to stop for a quick snack or catch up with friends at one of their outdoor tables. There is also a Choices, post office, bakery, High Five chicken, insurance office, pharmasave and a bank nearby for running errands after your coffee break! read more

Having recently moved to the area from Vancouver where we were spoiled with great coffee joints, found ourselves isolated from any decent coffee shops. Season's Apple Cafe offers fantastic tasting coffee & Panini's & other treats. They were very accommodating to my 5 year-old daughter and kept her happily munching away playfully. The Tuscany Sun Dried tomato Panini with cheese was delicious and had plenty of sun dried tomatoes grilled to perrrrfection! Open on Sundays near Choices Supermarket, this place is sure to become a frequent stop for us. Thank goodness for small business like this little jewel. read more

I am new to the area and have been served once before with a tasty, soft blueberry scone. The service was wonderful and its a homey kind of place where you expect a baker to come out, covered in flour and smiles. The other day, I went to stop in and pick up a take away beverage. I noticed a note that they were closed for personal reasons. I paused and thought of all the circumstances the business owners had found themselves dealing with. There was a deep sense of wanting to simply stand outside their café and be thankful for all that they contribute to the community. As a point of good PR here is how I learned about Season's Apple Cafe... The scene: me in my old 86 VW Cabrio which decides to overhead just driving up Cariboo (that car loved overheating in general. I pull over and now I'm the blond girl in the heels, the short skirt, on my blackberry with my dad, hood open trying to figure out what went wrong and checking all my usual suspects to no avail. And then... a helpful man (who obviously works at the cafe) comes out and offers helps, goes and gets towels to check my oil... informs me I need an oil change. My car cools down and I'm on my mary (but nervous) way to Delta. The point... I vow I will go to this business at least once. One year later... I keep meaning to go but then it's not convenient, I have groceries from Choices, etc. Well thank goodness the other day the temperature was high and my boyfriend and I were in desperate need of something cold and caffinated. I demand to go to Season's Apple. Walking in the decor is reminiscent of a little cafe in Italy. I would describe it as darling. I mean how many cafes are cozy and have lovely table cloths? I ordered a Mocha Frappucino, and my boyfriend got a Espresso Frappucino and a piece of carrot cake. My mocha frap was divine. So creamy and sweety and full of mocha and caffine goodness. I was shocked that they don't have the "reduced" sizes... my regular was the size of a Starbucks Venti. My boyfriend obviously enjoyed all he had, as I ran into Choices before we left to carry on a erronds on the day, and when I returned to the car his frap was gone, the carrot cake consumed, and he was in a markedly better mood that prior. I will easily go here again. The staff was really friendly, the service was great (even gave me a stack of napkins as my overfilled frapp was dripping and I hadn't even noticed!). I also noticed a nice menu of sandwiches and breakfasts... as well their pastries look lovely. They also charge significantly less than say, Starbucks. An easy five star choice! read more

First of all, I like the name of this cafe :D I went to this cafe as it was recommended by some fellow yelpers! And I think it's a good cafe by not-in-Vancouver-downtown standards. It was clean, fresh and serves good espresso coffees :) what else do you ask for in the middle of nowhere cafe. I ordered a coffee latte and shared a sandwich with another costumer (my wife :P), the coffee was fine and the sandwich too. But honestly the quality did not match my expectations (my bad) . But the killer point was that the cafe does not have a Wi-Fi and this put me down and made it hard for me to come here again. So I'm gonna say this place is a three stars joint, but with a great potential for improvement! please add the Wi-Fi and I will come again and may be add a star :D read more

I came here on a Saturday morning with my husband, since we wanted to meet some out-of-town friends with a 5 month old for coffee. Seasons Apple Cafe is small, but it definitely has the feel of a local cafe. There is only a few tables in the cafe (seating for 12-16), but they also had some extra fold-up chairs in the back if required. There is also a small patio, which would be lovely in summer. There is no wi-fi, but if you're meeting friends there (like we were) it isn't required. There is lots of parking, since Seasons Apple Cafe is located in a shopping complex. When we entered the cafe, we were warmly greeted by the older couple working behind the counter. I ordered a london fog, and my husband ordered a green tea matcha latte. Our drinks came in these adorable huge mugs, and I was even given a small side plate for my tea bag (which was a nice touch). The drinks together came to $7.56, which is cheaper than they would have been at Starbucks, My london fog was great, and my husband said that the green tea matcha latte was the best one he's ever had. If you want to meet up with friends and have a good conversation without the distraction of wi-fi or loud customers, I highly recommend Seasons Apple Cafe. read more

First off - i checked this place out based on fellow Yelper's reviews. OK - only been there once but my experience was so nice I couldn't resist giving them 5 stars. Food - I had the breakfast bagel. Ham, egg, cheese on a multigrain bagel ---- DELISH! Seriously, one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a long time. My mom had the breakfast wrap (egg, tomato, cheese, salsa?) and she said it was wonderful. Great lattes and hot drinks. They have nice BIG mugs to use when staying in. Their bars (date, blueberry etc) are hugely portioned and yummy... most around $2 Service was really nice, too. They had like 4 or 5 ladies working when we went in (Monday morning) which means all of our food and drinks were being made at once - rather than waiting for 1 or 2 ppl to make everything one at a time. Can't wait to go back... Only con - they didn't appear to have a highchair (however, I didn't ask). read more

As a non coffee drinker, I'm basing this review of Seasons on my wife's coffee drinking habit. She loves Seasons, drinks their coffee when we stop in, and usually has a sandwich or dessert of some variety. My wife would rate seasons at no less than five stars, so five stars it is. I happen to like seasons because I can order Korean things that aren't on the menu, like ramyun. Sure it's nothing fancy, but it's fun to get something off menu. I've never tried the coffee, but it smells like coffee, so I guess it's all right. Super nice people run the place. read more

Seconding everyone else's reviews on the friendly staff + drink selection + homey atmosphere + outdoor seating is great! Just wanted to post an update given previous reviews talked about this that they now (as of May 2017) have free wifi! However, there are only a few small two-person circular tables indoors + no power outlets, so only 4 stars from me. Nevertheless, a great place to chill out for a couple of hours before your battery drains out, working on the next great Canadian novel or browsing Facebook or what have you. :) read more

I went here for a cold blended coffee beverage (caramel frap). I paid $5.50 which was about the same as the Starbucks price, but when I watched them make it they didn't do anything except blend milk and ice with some powder. When I asked where the coffee was, they said the powder was the pre-made mix! It tasted horrible and was not even worth half of what I paid. If I wanted milk blended with ice and powdered mix I could do that myself. What I wanted was something with good tasting coffee. What I got was something my child could have made better than they did. Never going back there again. read more

Really cute little independent Cafe with so many choices it was hard to choose! The only reason I wasn't too happy was because they left the espresso out too long and once it's been sitting for 10 seconds it goes bitter. I would love to try their other non coffee things however. read more

This place was an absolute delight. Was in town for only a few days but had to return before leaving. Had the most adorable and delicious vanilla latte. My friend had chicken panini, she loved it. Second visit had chicken salad and nanomio (sp?). Everything was great and the people behind counter were so sweet. Miss that place and will definitely return. read more
