We were visiting Downtown Langley and saw that the well loved Pie Hole opened here! We have one near our area and had an AMAZING apple pie last time so we wanted to check this location out too. The Hot Chocolate Festival was going on and we wanted to give it a try. There is this super cute neon sign right when you walk in through the door and you are immediately greeted with some fridges holding pies that you can get for takeout. I wanted every pie flavour I could see. The ceilings are high and felt spacious vertically but the store then extends into this longer narrow corridor. We walk in to line up and order while there are tons of people seated in the booths right next to us. It felt a little cramped, but not a big deal! The service was a little slow but very nice. I observed another customer complaining about their pie and the staff just patiently and kindly replaced it for them. We ordered the Chunky Monkey hot chocolate made with 65% dark chocolate and house made banana syrup. It also came with a mini tart. The first few sips of hot chocolate were lovely since the whipped cream mellowed out the flavours but it was just way too super sweet afterwards near the middle/bottom. It felt like I was drinking a melted dark chocolate bar and wasn't able to finish it. The tart was a mini banana cream pie and that was delicious! I think I'll stick with their pies next time! read more

Not sure if there was any recent adjustments to their recipes, but it seems that they have added a light layer of chocolate between the pie crust and filling to prevent the crust from getting soggy, this has been a very nice touch and welcome change. Helped keep the crust firm while allowing their various pie fillings to remain moist. read more

I visited this store last fall and purchased two small pies rather than one big one as I live by myself. The store was cute & welcoming inside and seemed to be busy with other food being eaten at the store. While I enjoyed the pies I did find that for the money they were very small and the crust is way too thick. read more

What a fantastic find in Langley. We were pretty excited that they have a new location close to us. It is the cutest little shop to try baked pies and cookies. You can sit in and eat as well as take out. So many delicious treats to choose from. Sweet or savoury and if you're like me, both! I grabbed a frozen turkey pie will all the trimmings. Literally, a full course turkey dinner in a pie! Had to get the apple crumble pie and pumpkin pie to take home. Also some of their cookies. Key lime pie cookie is amazing... move over crumble cookies! If you appreciate quality and artisan baked goods you will absolutely love this little gem. The staff were also very nice. Customers were happy to share their recommendations while I was waiting in line up deciding (that was the hard part everything looked so good) I will be coming back... a lot! read more

I am a regular. I buy frozen pies to take home and bake. Their meat and veggie hand pies are perfect for a hot delicious lunch. Keep frozen, pop one in the oven and an hour later you are having a pocket of flakey butter crust filled with savory meaty goodness. Course each time I go to the Pie Hole in Langley to stock my freezer I have to have a slice of warm fruit pie. The ambiance is a bit like an old time soda fountain. Go to the counter, pick from a wide selection of pies and have them warm it up. Nothing like a slice of warm berry filled pie and a cup of coffee before driving home with my frozen freezer stock. By the way, I drive from Seattle once a month or so to buy their pies. They're that good. read more

I am so glad The Pie Hole has made it to this side of the bridge and is a great addition to Langley. The pies are delicious, but are more expensive than the grocery store. I find they have more filling in their pies compared to the grocery store varieties. I buy them when it is a special occasion or a slice as a treat. Service is minimal. Ambiance feels diner inspired with some seating for small groups. read more

So excited to have the Pie Hole in the Fraser Valley. The aroma of the store is overwhelming with the delightful smell of butter and sugar. This location is larger and offers more seating, as it used to be a cafe. The ambience of this location is nice and cozy, and has an old school cafe feel to it. While they are well known for their pies, they also offer a handful of other goodies like cookies, hot beverages and even frozen goods. If you are new to the pie hole, I recommend getting a mix of sweet and savory hand pies or the 5" pies. They are a bit on the pricey side but worth it. I enjoy their rendition of pop tarts, but I have yet to try it in this location. Service is great and staff are friendly and polite read more

So excited to try this little gem in Langley! We had Lemon Meringue (beyond delicious) , the Elvis cookie (my mom's favourite) and good old Apple Pie. Great flavours and an amazing crust! The drip coffee is by far the best I've had in a coffee shop - I was blown away. We took home a Chicken Pot Pie for dinner and the family loved it. Lots of flavour. read more

Whoever said this place was good must of had the munchies! Even with the munchies, it's horrible! We got three things to try and they were a .5 at best! Dry, extremely sweet and soggy (just to name a few)! Absolutely not worth the price! Never again! I also think 1 start is being generous but I couldn't post without leaving at least 1 star! please don't buy into the hype because it will always disappoint! xx read more

Friendly staff, great selection. However, the 5" key lime pie I tried was so disappointing. It was mostly crust. There was less filling than crust (see photos). Usually I like graham cracker crust but this was not flavourful or buttery and lacked salt, which brings out the flavour in sweet foods (contrast). I should have bought just a slice instead. The savoury hand pies have been consistently good and I'd rate those as a 4/5. read more

I live in the Seattle area and travel to metro Vancouver, BC almost monthly. I confess I don't make the three-hour drive just for pie. But each trip I swing by one of the three Pie Hole locations for what else, pie. Truth is, I like their pies so much that I order ahead online. I go back across the border with a cooler of frozen bake at home pies. What type of pie you ask; 9-inch, 5-inch and marvelous hand pies. Their butter crust is quite simply perfect. I choose an assortment of savory meat, vegi and sweet fruit and berry pies. A month's worth. To me, nothing better than a cheeseburger hand pie fresh out of the oven for lunch. The feta and spinach hand pie cocooned in a flaky butter crust (cliche warning) is outta this world. I just returned from a trip North. I brought back a variety of five frozen 9-inch fruit and berry pes. My wife and I have a house full of family home for the holidays. Every day the kitchen will be rich with the smell of food. I had a humorous conversation with the US Customs agent on my crossing back. "Are you going to eat all those pies yourself?" Somewhat offended I responded, absolutely not, I'll share. "No, no, I mean are you going to resell them." I laughed and explained about family coming home for the holidays. He was a nice young man, i thanked him for his service and wished him happy holidays. Today I baked the apple/cranberry pie and was pleased to share a slice with my brother-in-law. Yes, it was good. Not overly sweet, tart firm apples, with red bits of exploded cranberries wrapped in that wonderful flaky butter crust. read more
