Gratia seemed like a popular cafe on weekends. There were lots of customers when I got there around 1PM. We ordered Matcha Raspberry croissant ($6.75), large drip coffee and latte. Drip coffee tasted bit bitter. I had to wait in line while staff were busy helping customers. Latte was good, but Matcha Raspberry croissant was too sweet. I didn't know the washroom was at the back at the rear side. Because the cafe was very busy, there was no toilet paper when I walked into the washroom. Staff were very nice and helpful, but my personal experience was just okay. I could've got something better than Matcha Raspberry Croissant. Besides all the staff were too busy and had no time to check or clean the washroom.

Super tasty and fresh and the side salad was also notable a nice variety of greens. My shopping partner had great things to say about her bacon & potato (Panini?) Accompanied by a couple of lattes to finish off this great experience. Helpful and friendly staff during a busy time. ....and let's not forget the fresh bread made in house. Such a variety and NO SUGAR ADDED. Tried a loaf of the rye and a loaf of walnut raisin. Both made excellent sandwiches at home. So fresh!!

Note that the vinaigrette has a small spice kick to it! - but i LOVE spice - so no issues here. Also had their special tiramisu latte - iced of course, since it was blazing hot outside - I wish the coffee had a stronger kick to it, as i found the sweetness to be a bit too dominate. They also sell all sorts of brewing equipment / presses, pour overs etc. And of course there own retail bags for their delicious coffee. The team is very friendly and upbeat, patient and knowledgeable.

Presentation was very nice. When I sipped, the hot chocolate texture was very very creamy and l liked it. Then, Umami(soy sauce) flavor came through and became sweet and savory flavor. However, as they mentioned, " subtle" , umami flavor faded, later on, it became a sweet hot chocolate. Soy garlic biscotti was a bit chewy and It had a strong soy sauce flavor. It is better to have it with hot chocolate and I liked the combination. I wish a hot chocolate Umami flavor lasted longer. Overall, still this place hot chocolate tasted very good.

Had high hopes going in and 100% not disappointed. First of all, there's POUROVER on the drinks menu, which immediately elevated the cafe's calibre.
