When the food arrived we got two half sandwiches and two cups of soup. I explained this to the waitress and she brought out someone from the kitchen who told me I was wrong and had paid for two half sandwiches and cup of soups. My diabetic husband and brother in law visiting from Ontario did not have enough food and we left to go home and prepare additional food since we had already waited an hour to get our order. I was impressed with the food but will never go back the error was not mine and if the staff incorrectly rang in our order when my sister and I were at the counter they could at least have apologized for the error. Sadly this review will be shared with friends and family across the country. So disappointed in our treatment.

The Ling Cod was cooked perfectly as were the roast potatoes and green beans. The dessert menu was to die for, as per usual. And the blackberry martini is like none other. 2) The ambience - it is an 'intimate' place with just the right decor and volume/type of music. 3) The service has always been superb. Gord and Pip are wonderful - just the right mix of personable and professional. And they are good at remembering your favourite drinks/dishes, not to mention special occasions. 4) The location. It is not on a main street, so we've never noticed excessive background noise. 5) The prices are pretty much right where they should be for the quality. The freshness of the food is worth it. It's so calming and welcoming with artist painting displayed on the wall. I had a group of 6 people (always large group for me) and Servers were very responsive and attentive to our table quickly. I have to say the menu has way too many choices and combo that Gordan Ramsey would definitely ask them to scale back in order to eliminate confusion or mistakes. Despite the case, all our orders were made correctly. Dishes were served super fast and IG photogenic. They even have high tea but you need to reserve your table 2 days ahead. FYI, all their desserts are gear towards the Asian style cakes which is very light, not too sweet but favourable. Definitely unique for this area. Will definitely go back again.
