The employees are friendly, the store is spotless and has comfy seating. But the food lacks flavor for me. On the bright side, parking is a breeze.

Cute cafe and good service, however once I received my food I was so disappointed. The Avocado toast was missing the guacamole spread as Included on the menu I was given one single cherry tomato cut in half on top of the toast, it was extremely dry with no butter seasoning or spices or anything on the toast. Not only that but the cook served a literal packed ball of arugula on top. Eggs were eggs and the pan fries were deep fried and spread around the plate to make it look a bit fuller. On the plus side the food was fresh - the orange and didn't taste bad, just very regular. Also, why is the coffee $4.00!!!

A fabulous little cafe in the heart of White Rock not far from the beaches. I had heard about the Morrison Cafe' from several people who raved about their food. While in White Rock and looking for a good place to have brunch we decided to give it a try. Inside is a combination of 1950's style dinner with a modern twist. Very clean and comfortable booth seats. We had a 3 egg omelet with cheese, spinach and mushrooms. It was a generous portion and totally delicious. The waitress was friendly giving us insights into the cafe and why it is a staple restaurant in White Rock. Unfortunately I didn't think about writing a review until after we had eaten. However, I decided to take some inside and outside pics for reference to go with this post as their food was excellent! We will definitely return to try the lunch menu. It is well worth the drive up from the beach for great food and friendly service.

The cafe has a traditional European look and is cozy and well decorated, especially the vintage public pay phone. We got here just in time for breakfast. Even though it is Saturday, the cafe only serves breakfast till 11am. We ordered the chorizo hash and eggs, cappuccino milkshake and the black witch (black pudding). The hash was extremely fragrant and delicious with the monterey jack cheese and chipotle hollandaise sauce on top. The black pudding was kind of disappointing - overcooked and really dry. The bacon on top had a pool of grease. Not the most appetizing dish. The milkshake was flavourful with just the right amount of coffee. Service was unexpectedly slow and unfriendly(just our server). We will come back again to try other things on the menu and hopefully we will have a different server to enhance our visit.

Cute little spot to hit up after walking up and down the 1001 Steps. I ordered the daily special; corned beef sandwich and Greek lentil soup. I thought the sandwich could have had more meat, and the soup could had more flavour, but overall my order satisfied the hunger pains. Next time, I wanna try their milkshakes or the peanut butter pie!

While the food is insanely good, the service is extremely slooooow. They take slow to a new level. 3 tables were occupied when I was there. While the server was quick to seat customers and bring menu, they were super slow in taking orders. Priority seemed to be to seat customers. I didn't realize two tables did not have their orders taken yet so it took a while to get to me. My coffee mug had lipstick stains on it and it took a while before I could catch the staff's attention to have a new mug. The classic and pancake breakfast are inclusive of coffee (refillable) which are pretty good at $16 inclusive of tax. I decided to get the pancakes. The bacon was made perfectly, one of the best I ever had. Crispy and not oily. The pancakes were fluffy. Eggs done over easy. Food was really good and portion was decent. I could not finish my pancake. In hindsight, I should have gotten the half order. I like that they have that option. 2-hour street parking is available. And it is CASH ONLY. They put up plenty of signs around the restaurant to remind customers. And the staff knows the regulars by names. Very nice. Come here if you're not in a hurry.

It's hands down my favorite and makes a great taco shell! We got the Adnan kebab, lamb shank, and some eggplant appetizer, and had no room for any dessert, unfortunately. I would 200% order everything again, but would also ensure I hadn't eaten in days so I could eat more. The meat was very flavorful and tender - no dry meat here! The only things I might say could use some addressing is that the service is pretty slow - only got my water glass filled once - and the music was LOUD. Otherwise, it was a really nice dinner and I appreciated the decor and ambiance. Note - it is dry restaurant, but the food is so good, you won't even miss the booze.

I also don't like they go cheaper and use dark meat chicken on Kabobs. If you request white meat its not marinated and just what you'd get in a basic chicken sandwich. Dips dont all have a fresh and light taste and sone seem to be localized for western tastes. Breakfast hiurs have been reduced and Im not a big fan of the filler items on the plate like peanut butter, Nutella, Jelly, & etc. Honey is good though. Breads, bulgar, and desserts are nicely done, atmosphere is still nice, and service is generally good. Not enough foods coming off high quality and high authenticity. Mixed feelings and not very wowed last time and won't rush back. The dark meat chicken in kabobs is a real show stopper for me.
