We had a few hours to wait for the car to be serviced so I check out this place. Lots of 4 and 5 stars. I agree. We were there for breakfast. A bit different than the standard breakfast menu. I had the halipino omelette and my partner had the mushroom omelette. I'm sure it is made with three eggs as it was a lot. It came with thin chopped potatoes and toast. There was plenty for us. This is a small dinner and the tables are the 50's theme. Chairs were newer. Big wall scenes enhanced the place. The owner was extremely friendly and I believe his wife does the cooking. Service was great and there were about 6 tables on going when we left. All were served quickly. The food came hot. It didn't sit around under food warmers. The place opens at 830 which I thought for a breakfast place is a little late for opening. read more

This "diamond in the rough" cafe is just what any hard-working business needs as the go-to next door joint Conveniently located as they are, they're available for dine-in, take-out, or Food Delivery apps such as UberEats/SkipTheDishes. NOTE: menu prices are subject to change when using food delivery apps- so shop around! This time around I ordered UberEats, for pickup. My coworkers have ordered from here numerous times and finally.. today was my day. The ambiance was clean, open, and inviting upon entering and I was greeted with a big smile from the man behind the counter, serving two dine-in customers. I was welcomed and given my order, waiting, very quickly, by the front door, and was soon on my way back to work. The Cajun Chicken Burger was tasty, and cooked just right, though the spices were to be desired. I love my Cajun food, but here, they were overwhelmed by the other accoutrements on the bun itself. It almost may as well have been salted/peppered at most. That said, the Two juicy pieces of white meat chicken? How can you go wrong! The only way, would be if you don't ready yourself with some napkins - my chicken was sliding all over l, out of the bun, and my hands were covered in mayo. But, it was worth it to pop those birds back in and chomp away~ My fries were crispy, crackly, and fluffy on the inside, without too much grease. They were fried to perfection and when paired with the delicious gravy (tastes like chicken!) I was beyond pleased. Smooth, creamy gravy with savoury notes, that tastes homemade? Yes, please, all day~ To round it out, I also got myself an English Toffee coffee to go. Hot, smooth, creamy, and buttery all rolled into a delicious brew, to go. Again, how can one complain? If you're looking for a tasty bite with a smile, at a slightly higher cost than fast food (because this trounces those joints), in a convenient location, that hits it out of the park every time with what they dish out, then Rosie's door is open and waiting for you to sit down and prepare to be satiated~! read more

Very unassuming place that will surprise you! Located in an industrial complex, I imagine they get a lot of folks dining here during working hrs. It's run by a family, who are super nice and friendly! We went on a Sunday for lunch and we were the only ones dining, along with a family of 3 seated at another table. The owner gave my boys a free drink of choice and came to our table to chat for a bit. The food was delicious! We tried the shrimp Benny, burgers, and Mexican omelette. My oldest son said the flat potatoes/hashbrowns were his fave! We also tried the fruit waffle and French toast. These were just ok, not as indulgent as you would expect. I think they use whole wheat bread/flour so it didn't have that same richness from a franchise diner. Nonetheless, it's a great brunch option! read more

Sadly, there is nothing "country" about Rosie's! We went for a traditional Canadian breakfast and quickly found out that wasn't going to happen. Bacon and Eggs is actually Chicken 'chicken crisps(?) and eggs. Eggs Benny without any ham or bacon but you can have a beef patty. The sausage option was chicken which were done in strips and so salty it was ridiculous. If you restaurant have a particular religious bent fine but at least give notice. BTW, the salt and pepper shakers hadn't been cleaned in months. Disgusting. read more

I've been here 4 times now...once prior to new ownership. Tasty food - diner inspired breakfast fare. Good value here in South Surrey. Hands down, the best omelette I've had - and unfortunately, it's so good, I don't order anything else. The times I've been there, I see a lot of folks order their big ass burger. Perhaps one day, I'll try that. Service is awesome - it has a real family feel to it. Brought my two kids there once and if they were less picky, I'd bring them more often. Oddly, each time I've gone, the pan-fries have just got better and better. It's tucked in with a bunch of other businesses so might be a bit tricky to find but well worth it. UNTIL.....we ate their food OMG, it was amazing!!! My wife and I ordered the farmer sausage skillet and the turkey melt. The eggs were done to perfection and the toast was golden brown. The price is reasonable, large selections of menu, and quite spacious. They open from 7 am to 2 or 3 pm, meaning only breakfast and lunch.I had a breakfast with my wife. In the wall, there is picture saying ' if you are not shaking, you need another cup of coffee ' I like this phrase. Whenever my cup is half empty, she, nice and kind waitress, comes in and ask if I need more coffee. She came to our table at least three times, to make my cup full of coffee which taste good and fresh. You can select breakfast menu from variety of choice, and regular menu for lunch looks nice with sandwitchs including BLT and burgers. Cod burger. Deep fried. They could have improved this by taking the time to drain off excess deep fry oil. The batter on the deep fried cod was oozing oil and the bottom bun became saturated with it. I wish I had sent it back and not eaten it. $33 for a couple of burgers and coffee. And felt gross after eating it. I rarely eat fish and chips (perhaps once every five years or so) and understand it's not a healthy choice to begin with but I thought I'd splurge and go for it. Wife and I went for breakfast. Seated ourselves and then waited about 5 mins before anyone acknowledged that we were there and finally brought us menus. Placed our order and then waited 25 mins for an omelette that was just warm and a blackstone Benny which was real hot. Overall the food was ok. Real good job on the poached eggs but the hollindaise sauce was rather bland. The omelette was greasy and only just warm and the potatoes that come with both meals were ok but not great. We might give this place another try to see if it was just a bad day, but I'm not too sure. read more
