But I wouldn't get it again next time Urfa kebab - this was my favourite. The beef is super flavourful and soft. I love both rices in all of the dishes. The bread was also strangely addicting. Would DEFINITELY recommend this dish Lamb sis kebab - the lamb wasn't super lamby which is good for people who are scared of the lamb flavoyr. It was a bit chewy and dry. Wouldn't get it again Fish salmon kebab - too dry but I liked the smokiness to it Mix doner on rice - the meats were both really dry. Wouldn't get it again Service - food came fast and they checked on us multiple times Atmosphere - lots of people kept coming in and out but it wasn't loud at all. They started live music at around 7pm. Overall I felt like the food was okay. It's great for big groups as they have huge tables. The price was also a very cost efficient

Absolutely dynamite!!! Crispy, cheesy, and addictive. My dish: Alinazik Kebab - Grilled lamb over sauced grilled eggplant and yogurt, served with salad and bread. The lamb was insanely flavourful and delicious. I wasn't a fan of the mashed eggplant though (which surprised me because I usually love eggplant). It was okay, just not my thing this time. My husband's dish: Ground Beef Pide - Savoury flatbread topped with seasoned ground beef, fresh herbs, and sesame seeds. This was excellent -- super tasty and satisfying. My son's drink: Ayran - A traditional salty yogurt drink with mint. Not a hit with him Too salty and sour for his taste, but we appreciated the experience of trying something new. The servers kindly brought him a Coke instead and didn't charge us, which was really nice. My son's dinner: Adana Kebab (spicy) - Skewered spicy ground beef with rice, bulgur, salad, and bread. Fantastic!!! The beef was fresh and flavourful, and the rice and bulgur were soooo good. Service & atmosphere: It was pretty packed for Valentine's Day, so service was a bit hit and miss and slower than usual -- but totally understandable. The atmosphere made up for it, especially with the live Turkish music. It genuinely felt like being on vacation for the night, and I loved that feeling. Overall: Definitely worth the wait. Great food, great vibes, and a fun dining experience for the whole family.

We ordered the Lavender Leila and Fizzy Farah to drink. I love how they have fun mocktails to try, both were delicious! We knew that they're known for lager portions and we felt like sharing, so to eat we had the Crispy Cauliflower appetizer, Mutabbal Dip, Spinach Fatayer and Kibbeh. We finished our meal with Syrian Tea for 2 and Knafeh. Admittedly, I love their food. The cauliflower came with pomegranate sauce (yummy!), the mutabbal dip made of eggplant was creamy and punched with flavor. The kibbeh is well seasoned beef and the crispiest outside shell. Their knafeh was perfect for sharing, crunchy on the outside and gooey cheese melted in the middle. Service was nice, it wasn't too busy for mid-week and there were two ladies who were looking after everyone front of house. They made sure to check on us frequently and we got up to pay when we were ready. It's definitely a different atmosphere from the previous location with the white walls and pink tables, this location is giving cabin. But hey, the food is good!

Khaghan had plenty of room for us. The menu seems to have changed since the last time I came here. Previously, there were coloured pictures on their menu. This time, no pictures at all on the menu. Just black and white wording. Previously they had a Gheyme stew with eggplant that had meat in it by default and I had to request it to be vegetarian. They messed it up last time and just gave me plain vegetarian Gheyme stew. So...it was vegetarian, but it was missing the eggplant. The menu was better organized this time. Whereas previously they had a plain Gheyme Stew, and then a Gheyme stew with Eggplant (that had meat in it), this time they just had one listing of Gheyme Stew but then underneath there was an option of adding either beef or eggplant to it. I chose the eggplant add on and they got it right this time. Thorougly enjoyed my meal. We also ordered a Mirza Ghasemi appetizer to share amongst the table. I'd had this previously at other Persian restaurants. This one had a fried egg on top which was a bit different. I found the fried egg unnecessary. Nothing wrong with it in terms of taste. I do love the taste of a fried egg; however, the smoked eggplant dip is the star of the show and really didn't need a fried egg. Not to mention, I do prefer to be more eco friendly which means opting for vegan over vegetarian options when possible. That's just a personal preference though and not any kind of criticism about the dish or the restaurant. Everyone was impressed with their food. The portions, the presenation, the quality of the food. Some people hadn't had Tahdig before (the crispy rice). They loved the Tahdig. It was quite a showstopper. Great place for quality Persian eats in a lovely, spacious setting with lots of free parking. Oh, and if you're driving out later at night from the Capilano mall parking lot, don't get scared off by the gates being close when you're trying to exit. Drive out towards the Hanes St. exit and when you approach the closed gate, it will lift when you get to it. We had a few moments of panic but figured it out eventually and of course...huge sense of relief!

Big tables, Serbian pop music playing, and attentive service. I ordered the cevapi with bread and a bowl of veal soup. Both were hearty and well seasoned. It's the cheapest brunch buffet I've heard of in vancouver and they offer a great variety of savoury and sweet dishes. The quality of the dishes was also good. They have vegetarian and meat options. They also have warm and cold breakfast dishes. Along with a nice variety of pastries, fruits, breads, and toppings. They also had live music from 10:30 I think. They had a duo playing guitar and singing English songs and another duo singing Persian songs. The only problem I had was that the plates were very small so you either had to put small amounts on the plate and make a trip every 15 minutes or use multiple small plates on each trip. The cups were also small. I had to get up every 15-20 minutes and walk across the room with my cup, fill it with water and come back and do it all over again. Service 5/5 (the staff was friendly and were continuously removing the used plates and cutlery from the tables) Parking 4.5/5 (free 1 hour street parking) Food 5/5
